Breanne pov (leader of the group)

7 shadows could be seen moving full speed through the forest. They were the seven heroes who were running fast to the capital.

They cleaved through the narrow trail laden with sharp branches. Despite this, not a single scratch or blemish could be seen through their body and clothes.

The leader, who was running ahead among the group, is carrying a large sandglass at his back.

Their current location wasn’t that far from feloria capital when they received a report from his majesty. Although they had no way of measuring the distance to their destination, they knew they still had ways to go.

Considering the speed of their journey, they will reach the capital less than a day so they were running as fast as they could and didn’t rest even for a while.

Suddenly the person who was leading them came to halt and turned to face everyone.

Because the trail was so narrow, the one following from behind had no choice but to stop as well.

“Why have you suddenly stopped?”

“There is someone who keeps on monitoring our moves, I’ve felt it for a while, but I couldn’t figure it out who it is, so I’m just observing it for a while but now the presence of this thing keeps on bothering me so we need to find it before we reach the walls.”

Breanne as the leader of the group told Suzanne about his guts and all of the members also share the same experience.

“[Black web]”

Keifer the 3rd member uses his skills which is the black web to see if the entity that keeps monitoring us is within the 30 km radius of the spell.

“Breanne, there are 10 people who use [crow eyes] are hiding in a cave, 3 of them are hiding in the large three 15 meter from the left and the rest are 50 meters from us,” Keifer told me.

“Ok, now guys let’s get to work.” I’ve told everyone and they all gone after a second.

Suzanne and I went to the other directions which 3 of them hiding in a large tree.

Suzanne jumped, like a bird flying out of its cage. After a brief respite in the air, a delicate pair of legs landed on the earth. Her dress followed suit and gently flowed over her legs, hiding them from the view.

Suzanne brushed aside her long bluish hair in irritation and tilted her head. Under her icy glare, the man who was shocked couldn’t help but gulp in fear.

“Who are you people?”, Suzanne asked the 3 people who were hiding at the bottom of the large tree.

The reason these people didn’t run was simply because they were under the shadow manipulation of Suzanne.

“if you don’t want to answer then we will force you to do it” an evil smile formed from her lips as he use a spell to make these 3 people in a ninja attire speaks.

Depending on the reason, the fate of these people will receive severe punishment from Suzanne.

Suzanne is a sadistic person among the groups. She likes killing and torturing criminal people and the enemy of the kingdom.

Until now no one ever survives from her tortures and even I don’t want to witness this act because it is so disgusting to witness with your own eyes.

But today I need to see it because I have no choice but to get information from these ninjas.

With all of its movements blocked only their eyes were able to move, Suzanne used a potion and let them drink it. After a while, their eyes seem to be deferent and like they were hypnotized.

“I have a question for you. Are we near your hideout?”

The ninjas nodded deeply. It let out a voice that was neither a moan nor a scream.

I began to survey the surroundings. And use my searching skills to detect if someone was still hiding within the area.

When I made sure that no one was around, Suzanne let the 3 ninja’s walks to their hideout though I’m sure that other members found it already.

Before long, they arrived at the vicinity of the ninja’s hideout. As we neared their destination, the clumps of trees began to thin out, and eventually disappeared completely. What greeted us was a stretch of prairie with a few rocks jutting out from the ground.

We arrived at the forest of the ghost.

At the heart of a skull-shaped basin, was a large hole dug into the surface. A faint light could be seen seeping out from the hole. From the light, the inside was probably a gentle slope that continued downwards.

The two structures that stood on either side of the cave entrance were obviously man-made.

It is a barricade that was obviously made to let them have a time to prepare for the attack of the enemy.

At the entrance of the cave were two guards who keep monitoring the area and beside them were two large bells to use in case there are intruders. Even if a surprise attack on the guards proved successful, the loud chiming would still alert the ones inside.

We were hiding not far from the entrance of the cave if someone wants to attack the cave it may be impossible for them not to notice but not for us. I look everywhere if there are signs that other members arrived here already, but It seems that everyone still didnt't reach the area.

There was one way to break through this seemingly hopeless situation.

Magic.

I Cast [Silence of the night ] then kill them, or approach with [night invisibility], or lure them out with [Charm Person]. Destroying the bells directly was also an option.

While pondering which way would be the most enjoyable, I realized that I was missing a crucial piece of information.

“Is there only one entrance?” I asked the ninjas who were still under a spell

The 3 ninjas stiffly nodded its head in affirmation.

“Suzanne inform everyone the current location and let them aware that we will be heading out first ok.”

“Roger,” Suzanne salutes me and pull out his magic ball from out nowhere.

We head out first because I don’t want it to be prolonged, I get one of the ninjas who were under Suzanne spell and throw him out to the entrance single-handedly.

The ninja who was thrown flew for a few meters until a crash could be heard from here. The two guards who were stationed at the entrance were shocked as they saw their comrades in an awkward position; all his bones are dislocated from the fall and the impact.

After that, they became alert and tried to sound the alarm but I quickly killed them in one flash. Suzanne, on the other hand, kills the two ninjas in a gruesome ways were they were crushed until they became a lump of meat.

We enter the cave, but we meet some of their members on the way about 6 of them. I pick some stones and throw at them immediately, 4 of them were instantly killed leaving holes at their forehead while the other who escaped were being crippled to death by Suzanne.

A moment later all the remaining members of the 7 heroes group arrived and followed us inside.
