《The Lonely Wanderer》Chapter 44: Breaking Through Devastations First Stage + Hiatus

Thousands of hours pass broken down and then rebuilt back up, after training like a madman who lost all reason and awareness, with the conviction hardly seen in the ancient Immortals.
The pain became non-existent, it had become like the limiter on one's brain was removed. Hyperactive Simulation had reached a terrifying 450% With the appalling pressure from Devastation, then adding on the speed of his bodies collapse.
What would have taken Shenzi four days, equaling up to 2,419,200 hours inside Crimson's world, he surpassed the limitations of his mortal body. Doing so, Shenzi gained a tattoo one-third of a black star swallowing up all light and existence. Receiving the recognition of Devastation itself, while slowly waking up the long-lost Fiend Generation, that shook the galaxies long ago.
Without taking a moments rest, Shenzi immediately proceeds to open the 'door' to Devastations intermediate stage. Once again tasting what a real challenge is. Shenzi spends one hour to adjust to the changes in Devastation.
After contemplating for a while, Shenzi walks over to Crimson. "Mom I passed my limits reaching the Intermediate stage of Devastation, I feel like now and after experiencing the Emperor's Trial. Taking a peek into the Domain Tablet will benefit me greatly."
Crimson reveals an uncommon sight of a smile. "One grand expert that taught me in my younger years once said. The young will continue to surpass the older generation. His words were not without merit. However, son developing a domain earlier doesn't make you invincible, what is your rush to obtain a domain? You have plenty of time to train, and you're already mountains above that expert whom you challenged."
Shenzi contemplates for a couple of seconds arriving at an appropriate answer. "I am not in a rush to achieve a Domain instead I feel like doing so will limit my development. Domains are a source of power beyond what you can exhibit at your 100%. Having it ahead of time will only make me rely on an external factor. While it will strengthen me many times, I will become dull if all I rely on is my Domain."

"I achieved a particular insight, and I believe it is true. All you experience in life consider it as another Domain. Passion, Hate, Revenge, Slaughter, Destruction, Creation, all of them are forms of Domains. Experts only begin achieving Domains and fusing with them at the fifth stage, because they have yet to experience everything there is in life. The body is a Domain and the most important of all, and it holds the Soul. Viewing the Domain in this tablet is merely for research. So I can confirm if my vision is correct or not."
After listening to her son's explanation. Crimson is inwardly shocked with both freight and delight. Not only is her son's insight beyond those pussy Immortals, but Shenzi had also already come up with a concept that would have broken through Immortalities chains. Crimson can't help but mull over the past. If there had been an expert with her son's vision of cultivation, would the demons have succeeded on their initial descent?
Handing the tablet over to her son Crimson says, "Son the Dao is vast, and there is no limit to how far you can reach. When others have stopped at Immortality stages, there were those who had reached beyond becoming World Saints. What brings a halt to those in cultivating, is when they follow the current system. The system set-up is just like a manual, and it tells you all the essential parts, then it leaves you on your own to figure out the rest. Do not become one of the 'followers' instead I hope to see you become of the surpasers."

Dragonheart Core
To take a dragon's hoard is to challenge death. The greatest of the sea-drakes wakes, curled on his silver throne; but there is no silver. His hoard is stolen. He rises, screaming, and chases the thief to the ends of the world—only to be shot from the sky. But dragons do not die easy, and never one with such festering hatred. A dungeon core rises from his corpse. If he intends to survive so near the cove of pirates that slew his past self, he'll need to master his powers—and quickly. For these pirates are dragonslayers; they won't be felled by mere mushrooms or spiders. Beneath the lawless Calarata, the young dungeon core will have to fight to survive; and one day, he will return death to the man who killed him. Updates twice a week, on Tuesday and Thursday at 1 pm EST!
8 312Enigma's Multiverse: Rewrite
This novel was rewritten with the following goals in mind: -A 'human' MC, that struggles underneath the weight of his past emotions and slowly grows as a person as he deals with past trauma and regret. A relatable protagonist whose actions are in line with his motivations, who may be amiable or ruthless depending on the stakes presented. (Caucasian male protagonist, set in the modern world with alien 'induction' into the cultivation world.) - Competent antagonists that have their own goals and ambitions, instead of always targeting the MC for plot convenience. - An original cultivation system. - Interesting and well fleshed out enemy archetypes. - Hell mode challenge right off the bat. - Lots of action and fighting with psychological elements. - My vision of what a cultivation novel should be like. This is the rewrite of the original Enigma's Multiverse, the first version reads more like a skeleton or a first draft as it was my very first work and I've come a long way since then. A lot of things from the original will be tweaked/enhanced, so it might just end up as a completely different work. Cover Credits- Instagram @just_anime_art_things
8 218The Apocalypse Begins with the Strange
Lev and his best friend Jameson are thrust into a world that seems stranger than any other. The monsters seem weird, the blue boxes even weirder, and the actual living God's among men seem even stranger. Meanwhile, all of New York City has seemingly disappeared and also really crappy grammar and weird weird metaphors. Have fun :)
