Each rank also has senior and adjutant, meant for larger armies where the need to establish who is immediately after in the second and third place for the rank order

Recruit-Lowest pecking aside from levy conscripts

Levy-conscripts, peasants who are required to fight, can vary from town militia to peasant farmers

AN:My fiction will be using alot of terms to describe stuff taken from different sources for ranking systems some historical others fictional. You might recognize some of them and their origins but don’t call me a copy-cat, these were already good existing sources and I modified most of them to suit my needs and the plot.
