《Memoirs of an old traveler:First Rebirth》Chapter 02.5-Musings on the young master and life

“And here we go, say ahhhh”
“Neeeh eh eh” ah children are fussy as always. The young master is trying to avoid getting fed,not the most stunning of events as he flails his tiny hands around. Thankfully he is not even close to fussy as his siblings were to take care of. This young master doesn't cry nearly as much as they did nor does he struggle all the time as well. I would say he would be strangely lethargic at times if not for the fact that he always makes a fuss getting fed or when he needs to get changed. He also had this weird thing with eating grass and running in circles when he was young but nothing too out of the norm for young children. When I had a baby from both of the madams to take care of at the same time along with the other children, now that was an interesting time . It almost seemed as if they took turns to try to get my attention, still it was a more peaceful time so I had help from them. While the other maids of the house are trustworthy the madams still prefer me taking care of their children. Still now that most have grown up I have less work to do and can dedicate my time a bit more to the younger ones.
I was a part of the madam’s house since the time they were children so we have grown to be sisters over the years. Making sure that they were properly cleaned, clothed, having their schedules arranged, and properly trained. It certainly was a fast paced time, and when the two met the then young lord things were simply almost always out of control. If I remember it was at a party sponsored by the royal family for the new generation to get to know each other. Most of the young lords and ladies came with their entourages in a large ballroom area. I was escorting each of the madams who had come together and we soon ran into the young lord with his footman. The three got along almost instantly and that was the start of their long journey together.

He was a bit of a bad influence on them with his adventuring attitude but thankfully they managed to force him to settle down after the marriage. Back when they were free they would go trapezing through the borderlands fighting monsters and partying with the local tribes. This made relations in the future easy but the amount of trophies from monsters they stacked up made things troublesome with cleaning and storage. Will even though the lords and ladies have settled down in their homes and are raising children they still rush off to help command the front at Bannerhill Castle or helping the royal family in their affairs. But I can see that they miss the carefree adventuring days but even I can still remember the close calls from both monsters and people. They have kept the children from adventuring and sent them to the academy or kept them here training. I was worried that they would grow arrogant as the old noble houses do but enough whacks to the head and being forced into expeditions against monsters has stopped that. A bit of a light life compared to proper adventuring but still they are safe and can grow so that is a blessing in and of itself. Now I just have to make sure the newest young lord grows up properly, don’t want a black sheep in the family so late into the game now do we.

I am...*sigh* a speck of dust.
Hey, I'm...well, I'm not human anymore so I don't suppose that name matters. Anyway, just call me D. Why? Cause I'm dust. Not like, "Oh, no one notices me, it's like I'm dust in the air", but like..actually just a speck of dust. Nothing exciting going on, no action packed fights or cringey romances. Just...dust. I have a little system menu and everything, like all the 'OP' protagonists, but I mostly use it for the notes feature. Like right now. So, if anyone ever sees this, like, if the System stores it somewhere or whatever, just move along. Nothing special here.
