After the New Genesis members were taken care of, we waited in a corner until two individuals in overcoats and masks entered. They were then told to handle the rest and we ended up leaving with no further commotion. When we left in the car, I tried to talk about the situation.

“I thought those guys were wiped out.”

“Yeah.” She responded in a distant voice, not really paying attention to me.

“So, want to do it?”

“Yeah.” She responded in the same manner.

“Can’t even lighten the mood. Seriously what’s with you?” I grumbled to myself.

After we got back to Seel’s place we were greeted by said person.

“Hello~. You two had a big day today. Good job on keeping a low profile.”

“Do you know what is going on?” Ash asked.

“Right now it’s a real jumble. But what I can tell you is your party was not the only place hit. I know of five other confirmed sites and a few others that I am awaiting for more info on. Also we decided to pass you two because you got out safely without raising suspicion.”

With that we retired for the night and the next day Rocinante left to return to her superior. I was feeling a bit irritated when she left because I never found out her issue but that was quickly replaced with another feeling. Seel called me and I then laid eyes on the beauty with blue hair and pink eyes.

“Hey Ash dear, I waited till Rocinante left, so now I will give you your punishment.”

“What?! What did I do?”

“A couple of days ago you made a filing error~ .”
