"Acknowledged. I received confirmation that it is possible to grant you that power. I will now begin the transfer. Goodbye."

Without giving me any time to prepare, the figure says goodbye, and I slowly lose consciousness once again.

"Agg..."

My consciousness slowly returns, and I wake up. My eyes are close, but I can feel that I'm somewhere where the sun is shining and can feel the soft grass blades. I attempt to open my eyes, but I immediately reclose them due to the full blast of light.

I start blinking rapidly, hoping to adjust my eyes. After about a minute of blinking, I finally gained control and was able to see past the light. I start moving my head up, down, left, and right. While I look around, my eyes slowly widen to the point that they could bulge out. I was able to let out one word.

"Beautiful..."

All around me is covered with nature, which is so beautiful. Lavish green grass spreads all around me and goes further than what I can see. Up in the sky, I can see the bright yellow sun mixed with the clear deep-blue sky. With no clouds in sight, everything is lightened to perfection.

I scan around further beyond the beauty and notice some key places. To my left, which, judging by the sun, is to the south, is a large forest. The forest itself has many large trees. Since the trees are close together, the bright green leaves of the trees create thick foliage. That said, the foliage has some holes, allowing some sunlight to touch the bottom of the forest.

The forest expands to the left and right kilometers away. I can't grasp how far, but it seems to go on endlessly on the western side. It seems to go into a large body of water with a river connected to it to the eastern side.

Speaking about the body of water, to my east, the continuation of that water. I'm guessing it's a lake, but it could be an ocean. Sadly, I can't see what's on the other side of the lake in the east direction, so that it might be an ocean...

Apart from that, the lake's beauty, along with the sun's rays, makes the total atmosphere of the area more extravagant and beautiful. It stuns me for a minute, but I was able to regain control afterward.

The lake continues up north but then stops after a couple of kilometers. It seems that it only expands eastwards. Past the lake, northward, is a wall. I can't sense how tall it is from this distance away, but it is tall enough to block most of my view of what's on the other side.

The wall is lengthened to the east and west for what seems to be kilometers. That said, the western wall seems to be longer than the east because I can see that the wall takes a corner about one kilometer to the east.

On the west, the wall continues for a long way. Out in the distance, I can barely see the outline of a gate. Since the west is mainly open and just plains, I can see the wall's gate and size with more clarity. There are also many small colorful flowers in the grassland. I don't know what type of flowers they are at this distance, but they make the grassland more extravagant.

Speaking about the wall, I'm on some sort of incline to see some buildings over the wall. That said, I can't see any of them in detail, but I can see a large building in the distance. It looks like a castle...

With that structure and the walls' size, this must be the capital of whatever lands I'm in. That or all cities in this world have these things...

Anyway, with all the beauty over with, what are my plans of action?

"Well, I'm going to need food and..."

As I start to say aloud what I need to survive, I notice that my voice is higher-pitched than my previous voice. I also notice that I'm closer to the ground than before too. I take a look down and look at my feet and hands.

Although I'm wearing shoes, the size of them is much smaller than they previously were. Also, my hands look smaller than before too.

I'm not that dumb to know what happened. It seems that I have taken over, or maybe given, a body of a child. The age range is around a ten-year-old to a twelve-year-old, but I couldn't precisely say.

"I should check out my face while I'm at it."

I start walking towards the east of where the lake is. Since the conditions are met, I should check my appearance out with the water's reflection.

I continue to walk, and walk, and walk... From my starting location, it seems the lake was closer than this, but it's taking forever to get it!

I continued for a total of thirty minutes. Even with this child-like body, my legs are starting to hurt. Anyway, I'm finally at the lake. I move closer to the edge of the lake and peer down at the water. My reflection showed instantly...

"I-is this really me?"

I look at my reflection, which showed a child with short glistening pale blue hair with ruby red eyes, almost that of a vampire. I'm short, maybe around 55 inches, but that's probably due to me being at a young age.

Although I may be a child, I do have a somewhat handsome face. Thank you for this body God of this world!

It's good to know about my body situation, but I should really get down to the basics. I'm going to need food, shelter, and water. True, there's water here, but I should find drinkable water. I doubt drinking the lake's water is safe...

"Ah, I'm somewhat exhausted..."

I step away from the lake and planted my but onto the grass to rest.

"Wait... I should have that power, right?"

I almost forget about it... That person said that he'll grant me the power that I have always wanted, which I named World's Programming. Well, even if I have it, I wasn't told how to use it...

Hmm, I guess I'll have to figure it out on my own. I read some isekai manga and watch some anime during the times where I was off. In them, you can usually use a skill or power by saying aloud its name or chant. It's worth a shot...

"World's Programming!"

A window appears in front of me like that of a desktop. There is a bottom bar with two values: MP and WP. I don't know what they mean, but it appears I have one WP and zero MP. Aside from the bar, the desktop has three applications.

The first application is a console. The second is a text file named help. The last application is an editor. I can guess and understand why there are a console and editor, but what's with the help file? I mean, if I need help programming, then I shouldn't have this power...

Curious, I double-touch the help file as I would on my holographic display device, or AR, that I made years ago. When I do, a new window pops up with one sentence written inside. Please touch a tab to start reading! If it's your first time, please open 1 first.

After reading the sentence, I look to the left side and see five tabs labeled with numbers. The top tab is labeled with one, while the bottom tab is labeled with a five. Seeing that the preview text told me to open the first tab, I move my finger over to the tab and click on it.

When I did, a bunch of information replaces the preview text. Just by reading the first couple of lines, I find that the sender was the one who granted me my power... God.

Hello Dewa Emon. I welcome you to Odious, the world that I oversee! You might be confused or whatnot, but worry not; I added this helpful document to your power so that it would answer all of your questions about my world. Oops. I say my world, but I'm actually only one of the Gods.

I'll introduce myself. I am the God of Creation and the one who is the guardian of the human race. Aside from me, there are seven other Gods. Each of us Gods is a guardian for each of the races, which means that there is a total of eight different races.

Anyway, we were all surprised when we got a notification from that old geezer. I mean, this never has happened before... Well, for our world, that is. We had to hold an emergency meeting and everything! Well, that stuff is irreverent. By the way, the power you desired is quite amusing. I mean the power to do anything you want with the power via programming. That's unique!

Now, I have to say that I couldn't make it 100% as you wanted. You see, the other Gods hated the idea of it, saying that you should have just picked one of the common powers, so I had to come up with a compromise by decreasing the power of it. Well, I say that, but at one point, your power will actually be as you wanted, though the other gods don't know that...

I had to make some adjustments so that it would fit within this world's rules. Even after that, I had to nerf it to please those damn gods. Nevertheless, I think you'll like what I did with it.

In this world, people can use magic and special abilities known as skills. Skills are similar to what you know of in games; however, you get them by training and not using EXP or anything like that. Skills are known to get you more information about what you are doing and can improve your ability. For instance, if someone who has a cooking skill competed with someone who doesn't, the person with the skill will make a better food item than the one who doesn't have the skill.

By the way, you can't get these skills the normal way due to your power. That said, you should have no problem at all... Well, you might have a hard time in the beginning, but that's all!

Speaking about your power, World's Programming, I converted it into a skill you can see in your status (see tab 2). With your power, you can create small programs that alter this world. In the terms you know, think about this world as a game. The game files are locked for now, but you'll eventually get access to them. Think that your power is creating small programs that are altering the main game file or something...

Oh, I also added some measurements to your power, which you might have noticed earlier...

The first one is MP. In this world, mana is referred to as the source of one's magical powers and must cast spells. On the other hand, I have given you MP (mana pool) instead, which will be your power source. You will need MP to activate any program or to change the world. That said, you can increase your MP supply indefinitely by killing monsters.

The other thing that I added is called WP, which translates to World Power. This parameter is your power threshold and had to be created to fool those Gods. Right now, you have a WP of one, but each time you level up, your WP will increase by one.

The higher your WP is, the more things you can do or change with your power. For instance, currently, you can only change your basic stats (see tab 2 for more information) to a certain limit, but as you increase your WP, you'll be able to create skills, change the weather, and a whole lot more!

Also, once you hit WP of 200, you'll unlock folders of this world. Just think of this world as a game, meaning those folders will grant you access to their 'source code. With it, you'll be able to change the world as if you are a God.

This reminds me that you can level up all the way to 200, which is normally impossible. Typically, the cap is 100, but to match your desire power, I had to increase it. Anyway, I'll end my introductions for now. I have created many other tabs for helpful bits of information about this world for you. Whenever you have the chance, you should read them! I recommend reading the other four tabs before you go into any town. The last tab (5) is a helpful page that tells you what each WP unlocks for you.
