Chapter 178 - Brand New Day (Part 2)
Thursday, 31st of October 2019:
It was around 8 in the morning when Nazar walked through a portal into his room.
“Where have you been?” Laura asked him.
She was reading a magazine.
“I found it.”
He walked closer to her.
“I found the world you asked for.”
“Oh,” Laura looked surprised.
He held out his hand.
“Do you want to go now?”
“Y-yeah. Of course.”
She stood up and they vanished into thin air.
Earth-12984:
They appeared in Italy.
However, no one could see them. They were invisible.
“This is Earth-1299… No 12984. Yes. That’s right. It's 12984.”
“I didn’t think you would actually find it for today. To be honest, I was expecting you would do it very later.”
“I mean, it’s not like I was busy or anything.”
“Oh.”
They were in front of a big house.
“In this world, everything is normal. As in there is no demon, angel or the powerful me. And your brother is perfectly fine as well as your parents.”
“Oh...”
Nazar placed his hand on her head.
She looked at him in confusion.
“You can see what I see.”
She then turned around and looked at the house.
She saw what Nazar saw. And Nazar also showed her what their life had been like.
She saw what her life could have been if three people didn’t exist.
If Nazar, Aarin and Zerathos didn’t exist, her life would have been very different.
If Zerathos and Aarin did not play stupid, this would have never happened to her.
She saw what her life could have been.
She saw how great her relationship with her parents and brother would have been if greater beings hadn’t gotten involved.
She saw her brother was always fine.
She saw her parents being happy.
When they started working for NSE, they changed. They would barely spend any time with Laura and Marco. They were barely at home either. So, Laura pretty much raised Marco by herself.
But here? They had good relationships with their children.
Laura was not sure how she was feeling.
After a few minutes, she looked at Nazar.
“Can… Can we go?”
“Yeah, sure.”
“And can we stay on this Earth for a little while?”
Nazar was confused but he smiled.
Nazar placed a barrier around her and flew up.
They landed near a beach.
After a while, Laura was back to normal.
“Are you okay?”
“Yeah. It’s just… kind of surprising.”
“O-oh.”
Nazar stood up.
“Shall we leave?”
“Yeah. Yeah, we should leave.”
She stood up.
“What about you? Are you not going to see your life?”
“I already did. And it’s… stupid.”
“Oh?”
“Yeah. So, I am living with my real parents and we have a happy life.”

Nazar shivered.
“Disgusting.”
Laura laughed.
“You are fucking weird.”
“So, do you want to go anywhere?”
“Not really.”
“Then will you go with me somewhere?”
“Sure,” she said in a rather disinterested time.
They both vanished into thin air.
They appeared in another dimension.
This dimension was created by Nazar a while ago.
As soon as they appeared, this pitch-black dimension turned into grassland.
In this grassland, a lot of flowers, trees and other forms of vegetations appeared.
Then a hot spring appeared.
“I always wanted to go to a hot spring. Do you want to come?”
“Oh, interesting. Honestly, I never really wanted to go to one. But sure, why not?”
Nazar got inside the hot spring.
She started to take off her clothes.
“Oh, this feels pretty good.”
“Yeah, honestly, never expected it.”
The water started to get even warmer.
Laura looked around.
“So, why did you bring me here?”
Nazar thought about it.
“I wanted to show you this place because I made it myself.”
“Oh? Or you just wanted to be alone with me?”
“Maybe.”
Nazar chuckled.
“Anyway, why are you inside a hot spring if you are wearing your clothes?”
Nazar looked down at himself.
“Oh.”
His clothes vanished and he was left in his boxers.
She looked at him.
“Uh, can you turn this into a bikini?”
“What’s the difference?”
“Material?”
“Oh. Sure.”
He waved his hand and her underwear was turned into a bikini.
She entered the hot spring.
“Ah. It’s hot.”
“Sorry.”
He manipulated its temperature and made it a little cooler.
“Better?”
“Yes. Thanks.”
“If it's too cold or too hot, let me know.”
“Okay.”
She looked up to the blue sky above them.
“Can I ask you a question?”
“Sure, why not?” Nazar said as he looked confused.
“How do you usually change your clothes with your powers?”
Nazar looked surprised.
“Oh, that.”
Nazar was wondering what she was going to ask but this question was surprising.
“I just change the molecules of the air and change it into clothes.”
“Really?”
“So, I just take oxygen molecules and other molecules then turn it into something else. Unlike other clothes, mine is not made of any normal materials. It’s made of a lot of technology - mainly nanotech. It works as an armour.”
“I don’t know why you need armour.”
“Hm...”
Nazar thought about it.
“I don’t know. I had it before but I kinda got used to it and didn’t want to get rid of it.”
“And how does it feel to move at that speed?”
“That’s… kind of hard to describe.”
“Oh.”
“I can show it to you properly one day. I can give you speed and--”

“Nope. Don’t want it.”
“O-oh.”
She sighed.
“So, what happened to that guy? Ai...Ei… What was his name again?”
“Aiht.”
“Yes. What happened to him?”
“Dead.”
She looked surprised.
“I thought you said he was extremely powerful?”
“He was. But I took him to the 8th dimensional plane of existence and he died.”
“Oh.”
“Ah.”
Nazar remembered Emily.
He had completely forgotten about her.
“I found Emily in the 8th.”
“What? Isn’t--”
“Yes. But for some reasons she was alive. I checked her memories and DNA and it matches her. Then I checked her grave and she was not there.”
“...?”
“Apparently, the Nameless One had taken her and brought her back. And then she was stuck there? I left Solace with her. To keep an eye on her and to make sure she is the real her, you know?”
“...”
She was not sure what else to say.
“I really wish she...”
Nazar trailed off.
“Wish what?” Laura said in confusion.
“No idea,” Nazar said slowly.
Nazar stared at the blue sky.
He changed its colour to red, then green and then back to blue.
“I guess the blue sky is the best,” he said slowly.
Laura just looked at him in confusion.
“Why did you just do that?”
“Showing you my power?”
She sighed.
Nazar closed his eyes and thought about something.
(Why does my life keep getting better? But the life of those close to me gets worse?)
He let out a sigh.
After a while, they decided to leave.
Laura put on her clothes and she looked around once more.
“I forgot to ask… Do you control everything in this place?”
“Yes, I do. The weather, the sun, the sky, the vegetations… I control everything here.”
“Interesting.”
They vanished into thin air.
And as soon as they left, the dimension became pitch black.
They were back in Nazar’s house.
“I am hungry. I am going to go--”
Nazar trailed off.
He heard someone else’s voice in the house.
He immediately opened the door and rushed downstairs.
He opened the door of the living room and saw…
“Emily?”
Emily was talking to Emma.
It looked like they have been talking for a while now.
“Wh-what are--”
“Hi, Nazar. Why did you lie to me?” Emily said.
Nazar looked around for Solace but he couldn’t feel her presence.
“What…?”
“What’s wrong Nazar?” Emma said.
Nazar looked at Emma and then Emily.
He analysed Emily again.
But everything was the same.
“How did you find this place?”
“I… I don’t know.”
Now that Emily thought about…
“How did I get here?”
She was not so sure herself.
She looked at Emma.
“When did I get here? And how?”
Emma had no idea what was going on.
“You rang the bell about 10 minutes ago. When I first saw you, I thought you were some shapeshifter. Haha. But I don’t think that’s possible.”
She laughed.
“Nazar? What’s happening?” Laura said.
He looked back.
“I… I don’t know.”
He thought about it.
But then he remembered someone who knows everything.
(He should know what’s up with Emily, right? He knows pretty much everything.)
“What’s wrong, Nazar?”
He heard Emily’s voice.
He looked at her.
“So, why did you lie to me?”
“Because I don’t trust you. I can’t trust anyone when that bastard is involved.”
“Ah?”
She looked surprised.
“Tch. I can’t trust you when he is involved. I don’t have…. You see, he killed me a few million times. And killed you. And you expect me to believe that he just brought you back without a price?”
“Well, how am I supposed to know that?!”
She sounded angry.
“Shit!”
He heard Laura’s voice behind him.
“Is-is t-that…?”
Nazar looked at her and she was pointing towards the kitchen.
Nazar went out and looked at where she was pointing.
His eyes widened in surprise.
There was blood on the floor of the kitchen and he could see a head.
It was Aria’s.
Nazar looked at Emily (?) who started to smile.
She raised her head and laughed.
“Hehehehehehe...”
Nazar felt a chill down his spine.
“I am back!”
It came from Emily’s mouth but it did not sound like her at all.
It sounded like…
“It’s me, your god.”
Nazar gulped.
“I am back!”
She (?) sounded like she was singing.
And then Nazar felt something.
Nazar felt her (?) energies increase.
It kept on increasing.
“Ah!”
“Hehehehehehe… did you miss me?”
Her (?) blue eyes turned red.
Her blond hair turned into black.
“You thought you could keep your loved ones safe from me?”
All of a sudden, Emma fell to the ground.
Nazar could no longer feel her life force.
He froze in his place.
“You thought you could keep your world safe from me?”
Behind Nazar, Laura fell to the ground too.
Nazar did not even want to look back to confirm it.
“You thought you could keep your universe safe from me?”
Nazar couldn’t even move.
He had gotten over his fear of the Nameless One but he still froze.
“Hehehehehehe…”
He saw how Emily’s (?) energy increase even more.
“Hehehehehehe…”
Snap!
Emily (?) snapped her fingers.
Nazar saw a bright white light coming towards him.
And then--
And then--
And then---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
