Chapter 170 - Battle for Planet Earth (Part 5)

Monday 28th of October 2019 - Earth-1 - Unknown location:

It has been three days since Earth has been pulled into this dimension.

Right now, it was noon and the Earth went through another panic. It lasted three hours this time.

As soon as the three hours passed, the man known as Mark was standing on top of a rooftop.

Behind him was a bikini armoured girl.

“I gave you the power you need. Now, take your revenge and then start your job.”

“...”

“As soon as you kill her, you will be working for my lord. You will be his herald. Once this world dies, you will still be alive. You will be the only one who survives.”

He nodded.

“Hmm?”

He was about to fly off but she noticed something.

“What is that in your hand?”

He raised his hand a little and looked it.

“Oh, this?”

Then he smiled.

“It’s a drug my parents created. Once someone consumes it, for the rest of their life, they will feel constant pain. They will suffer. They will want to die… but cannot. It is--”

“Yeah, yeah. Don’t care. Your first job is tonight. Finish your business and then become a full-time herald.”

He nodded and flew off.

Now, if anyone gets superpowers, it will take them a while to get used it. But for some reasons, he already knew what his powers were and how to use them. The woman in bikini armour added something directly into his mind. It was knowledge. Necessary knowledge for the Herald.

He flew away and she smiled to herself.

“That was easy.”

She then vanished into thin air.

After a few minutes, the man known as Mark landed on top of a hotel in Castellón de la Plana, Spain.

He then took the stairs and went down.

He reached a room and kicked it open.

“Wah?!?!”

Laura was lying on the bed, using her phone when the door kicked open.

“Wha-what are you--”

“Shut up, bitch.”

He picked her up by her throat and threw her through the window.

“Uuq!!”

She was falling down towards the ground.

“Oh, shit!”

She closed her eyes immediately.

She was about to hit the ground but Mark caught her and dragged her behind him.

He flew as fast as he could.

And that was bad.

“Argghh!!”

Normal people cannot stay unharmed if they move too fast, their body cannot handle it, so their inner organs get damaged. Besides that, their skin can burn off due to the friction.

And that’s what was happening to her now.

“Blergh!”

She coughed blood.

Something broke inside her body.

And her skin was burning.

It kept going for as long as the man was flying.

After a few seconds, he stopped flying and landed on top of a rooftop.

He threw her on top of the roof.

“You are feeling pain, yet? Good.”

He then went closer to her.

He held her face up and forcefully fed her something.

“It is a poison. A poison that will make you suffer for as long as you are alive. There is no cure for it.”

“Kh… Ak...”

She held her hands at her throat because she could not breathe properly.

“You will be alive… but you will be in pain. Since the world will die in a few days, it does not matter… but I wish I could see you suffer for longer.”

He laughed.

It was a forced laugh.

“Damn it!”

He kicked her in the stomach.

She could not even shout in pain.

She could not breathe properly, her skin was burning, a broken bone or two, her insides feel like it's about to decay. She feels pain all over her body. Her mind is in pain too.

“Do you know why I am doing this to you?”

There was no answer from Laura.

“It is because of your goddamn boyfriend. He killed my parents and my brother. So, I have to take revenge. I am going to kill you.”

He shook his head.

“No, I am going to see you suffer. I will watch the world die, and you with it.”

He laughed. Laughed harder than he ever had.

He kicked her again.

And then again.

And then...

Nazar was not doing anything. Nazar could not do anything.

After multiple waves of panic, he still could not do anything.

He used that opportunity to study his opponent but it was useless.

Right now, he was waiting for the next apocalypse to happen. And he was going to use that opportunity to try and figure something out. He made a bluff to Aiht and he needs to live up to it. But how can he?

He was trying to understand the energy but he could not.

“Solace, anything?”

“Nothing. Sorry.”

“Damn it!”

And then he felt it.

“Laura!!”

He felt her heartbeat hitting very low.

The thing is, he wanted to keep a close eye on all the people close to him just in case something happened to them. And he knew that she was in the UK, so he kept an even closer eye on her.

It was less than 40 beats per minute.

So, he flew out of his home.

He reached the top of the roof where Laura was in less than a second.

Yes, in this case, teleportation would have been better but it will take longer. First he needs to figure out the exact coordinates. He also needs to figure out where she is and what things are around her. The speed of wind here and there, the light, clouds, etc. There are too many calculations.

So, he used flight. He can follow her heartbeat using his superhearing and find her.

“Laura!!”

He crouched down next to her and healed her.

But she was still not back to normal.

“How does it feel to see a loved o--”

Before the man could finish his sentence, Nazar had waved his hand and he was thrown away.

He was thrown towards a sea that was a few hundred miles away.

He fell into the ocean and started to drown.

He tried to go up but he was being pulled down.

Back in the city, Nazar picked up Laura and took her home.

He placed her on his bed and healed all of her injuries.

“There is a poison within her,” Solace said.

She came here as soon as Nazar appeared.

“I KNOW!”

He sounded angry.

He placed his hand on her stomach and closed his eyes.

“Damn it, it has merged with her blood. She needs new blood-- Oh, so she A-Positive blood. I am O-Negative.”

Nazar took a deep breath.

“What are you doing?”

“I am replacing her blood.”

“Oh.”

“I only need one second.”

In Laura’s stomach, a hole appeared.

“Ak...ak...”

Laura was in pain.

She was trying to breathe but she found it hard.

Her eyes had turned completely red.

All of a sudden, blood left Laura’s body through the hole in her stomach.

As soon as it left, Nazar used his telekinesis and cut off his own arm.

Blood started to spurt from his body.

But he used telekinesis again and kept it in the air.

“I won’t let you die,” he said slowly.

While she did not have blood, he used that as an opportunity and removed all the poison from her body.

He then used the hole and added the blood within her.

He made sure that the blood flowed within her properly.

Once he was sure she was fine, he let out a deep breath.

“Solace, keep a watch on her.”

Laura’s eyes were closed now. She was healed completely, but she was unconscious.

“Where are you going?”

“I am going to kill that bastard.”

“Naza-- Sigh.”

Before she could protest, Nazar had already left the city.

She could go after him, but she does not want to leave Laura alone in this state.

She used to have access to N-Spheres and so many different bodies but Nazar changed that. And she does not know why.

Nazar flew down and picked up Mark from the water that was drowning him.

He threw him towards a mountain.

Mark flew through it and was unharmed.

“That energy… Another one?”

Nazar’s eyes lit up with red energy.

He shot Mark with his energy beams.

“Argh!!”

Nazar confirmed that he could get hurt.

And so, he began his real fight.

He picked Mark up and punched him in the chest.

Nazar was not holding back. He unleashed everything he had.

He punched him again and again.

He heard the cracking of Mark’s rib cage and Nazar smiled.

He then threw him towards a building but Mark never reached it.

Nazar appeared above him and kicked him in the back.

Mark fell down to the ground at unimaginable speed.

He stood up.

He was healed completely.

While fighting against him, he also felt similar energy.

He did not have time to look around for them.

Mark was flying towards Nazar but it was dumb of him.

He should have run away.

Out of nowhere, the ground split apart and a hand came out.

It grabbed Mark from the back and pulled him in.

The ground swallowed Mark and closed behind him.

And then it spits him back after a few seconds.

As soon as he came out of the ground, Nazar used his super speed and super strength at full and punched him over a few thousand times in less than a second.

Mark coughed up blood.

He could not keep up.

He could not heal faster.

“Kill… Kill me, you murderer.”

“Oh, I will. But I would like to see you suffer first.”

Mark swallowed his fear.

“You killed my parents… Do I not get to--”

“Oh, you are one of them?”

Nazar’s face was ripped in half with a very, very thin smile.

“I am going to be extraaaaaaa nice with you.”

Halfway through the sentence, his voice started to crackle with laughter.

“I have been waiting for one of you.”

That psychotic laughter pierced the very being of Mark.

He gulped.

“I don’t care what your reasons are… You are going to suffer like no man before has.”

“?”

All of a sudden, a black goo appeared around Mark.

And then he started to shout in pain.

“Do you feel it?”

Even though he was crying in pain, he could hear Nazar’s cold voice.

“Feel everything bad any human has ever gone through… Every bad thing they will go through. And it's not just from this Earth. It’s from every single Earth across the multiverse.”

Nazar laughed.

“I told you… I told the whole fucking world… Come at me if you want, but if you take a detour, you will suffer.”

After a few seconds, that black goo vanished.

And as it did, Mark looked like he was about to pass out.

He was sitting on his knees. He was looking down.

But what concerned Nazar was the fact that his body was radiating with that strange energy.

“I saw it...”

Mark said something as he raised his head.

“Huh?”

It did not make sense to Nazar.

“We don’t matter. We are smaller than ants in the grand scheme of things. And that is a win for me. I always thought you were a god… but knowing you don’t matter… it makes me happy.”

Mark smiled.

“But even then, I am going to blow up and kill them all. You cannot save them. You cannot save anyone. Earth will die in a few days. And then everyone will know before they die.........”

Nazar analysed his physiology. He did not understand it.

"They will know that you are not a her--"

He chuckled.

"You were never a hero to begin with. But they will know that you are not a god. You can't do everything. YOU ARE NOT A GOD!! YOU NEVER WERE ONE!"

He analysed his energies and did not understand it.

(What is this energy?) Nazar thought to himself.

He wanted to save him so he can make him suffer for as long as possible but he was going to die here.

Nazar could not save him.

So, he did something else.

He placed a telekinetic shield next to him.

It covered up to his neck.

He then kicked him in the head.

As he did, Mark’s head flew away.

His head and body were separated.

But even then, it looked like it was about to blow up.

So, he used his erasing power and erased Mark as well as the explosion.

He waved his hand and everything was fine again.

Without looking or saying anything, he vanished into thin air.

The bikini armoured girl watched it from a nearby building.

She gulped.

“That… that guy is a monster.”

She herself is a very powerful being.

She was the first herald of Aiht.

Ever since she became his herald, she has been very powerful. And she has seen her fair share of powerful people, but the scene before her now surprised her.

“Damn… I wish he existed on my pla--”

Before she could finish, Aiht appeared behind her.

She felt him, so she looked back and kneeled.

“I thought you said he was not that strong?”

“S-sorry, my lord…. But he is a mystery.”

“Hm?”

“He looked so weak but then all of a sudden, there was a burst of energies. It’s hard to--”

“In conclusion, he is more powerful than me.”

“N-no, my lor--”

She tried to protest against it.

But the man interrupted her.

“If you lie to me like this again, I will send you to you to hell. Your utopia is your hell. Remember that well, Bell.”

“.........Yes, my lord.”

He vanished into thin air.

“Damn that utopia...”

Bell used to live in Universe-246. In her universe, her planet was considered nothing but a utopia.

No crime. No discrimination. No hunger. No disease. Nothing of that kind.

It was peaceful, but Bell hated it.

She hated peace. She hated utopia.

But in that peaceful world, chaos came all of a sudden. Panic, fear, anger, and other negative emotions started to appear for the first time in a very long time.

But in that situation, she felt happy. She felt alive for the first time in a long time.

She was laughing while everyone was cowering in fear.

So, she was noticed by a god. Aiht.

He chose her as his first herald.

She got power and she brought chaos to other worlds and universes.

This happened about two weeks ago.

In that time, he has gone to hundreds and hundreds of different world. And brought chaos with her.

She was happy and felt alive.

But right now, she is scared for the first time in the last two weeks. She is scared she will be sent back to that damned utopia where she will feel like she is dead again.

So, what does she need to do to save herself?

What does she need to do?

“That’s right...”

She clenched her fist.

She took a breath.

“I am going to weaken him for my lord by any means necessary.”

She forced a thin smile on her face but it vanished immediately.

“I will weaken him… or die trying to.”

If she wanted to save herself, why would she let herself die?

“If I kill him that will be great... If I weaken him or die while trying, people will see it. They will get scared and it will power up my master. And...”

And because death is better than going back to that utopia.

She wanted to say it so badly but stopped herself.

She took a deep breath and looked at the city beneath her.

“I guess I might have to destroy the city while killing him… or dying. That should fuel my lord.”

Despite wanting to die for her master, she looked sad.

"Killing and destroying is not my lord's way, but there is no choice."

A sadness that she could not explain overcame her.

She slapped her cheeks.

“The decision is made.”

She shook her head.

And smiled.

"I am going to fight him."

And then vanished into thin air.

Earth-4:

It was the middle of the night in London.

The young Nazar was sitting on a rooftop and was talking to this world’s Emily.

Some time ago, he felt energy within her and looked for her. He found her and told her why.

Ever since then, they have been friends.

Right now, Nazar was looking at his own hands.

“So, we are all going to die?” She said.

He nodded his head.

“I mean, it's a guaranteed loss. Those guys… they are too powerful. The one from Earth-1 - someone mentioned something about blowing up a solar system. And then there was this… this other one. H-he was made of energy! I don’t stand a chance against them. Th-they are too… I can’t even lift a plane. Let alone fight those guys.”

She did not say anything.

She just kept quiet.

“What about that energy within me?”

He looked at her and then immediately lowered his gaze.

“When I got my powers, I was happy and felt alive. Then I met that other… older Nazar a few hours later. Then he vanished only to return a month later and tell me something. That energy within you is my power source. If you somehow die - I hope not anytime soon...”

He chuckled.

“But he said to me that if you do die, I will be as a weak a normal human.”

Nazar visited him once the Nameless One was defeated. He had asked Aarin to take him to a few universes and let him do something. He told the other versions about how they don’t have to worry about the Nameless One and about the weird energy within Emily.

“Interesting…?”

“I don’t know how it works… but if you die, I will be weak.”

“It doesn’t make sense.”

“Do you really want to know?”

She thought about it.

“Yep.”

He took a deep breath.

He thought about how to word it.

“Well, we are abominations. Created by this ultra-powerful being called the Nameless One - who is dead now apparently - he created us because we were his power source. But I think he couldn’t make the ‘Nazars’, so he created ‘Emilys’ as our power source. And that’s why we exist.”

“...”

“The older one also mentioned something about our emotions being manipulated by the Nameless One. Because he wanted to for us to have children…“

He said while blushing.

“Oh?”

“Because they would be stronger than even the ‘Nazars’,” he said frantically while waving his hands in front of him and shaking his head. “I did not make it up, I promise. That’s what the other Nazar said...”

“I am messing with you.”

She laughed.

“O-oh.”

Her laughed slowly vanished.

“But it does make sense, does it not?”

Nazar nodded his head.

She took a deep breath.

She leaned over.

“U-uh, wh-what are you doing?”

“Trying to kiss you?”

He blushed.

“B-but we have only known each other for a few months.”

“So?”

“Is-is it now weird?”

“No.”

“O-oh...”

She narrowed her eyes.

“Don’t tell me you have never kissed someone before.”

“Wha-wh-what’s wrong with that?”

“Nothing. So, since when do you like me?”

“Ah?”

He looked away.

“Come on, I know you like me.”

“Well, I did mention how he--”

“Is it still being manipulated?”

“I don’t think so...”

“So, what’s the problem?”

Nazar took a deep breath.

“We are going to die soon and I cannot do anything about it.”

“...”

“Everyone is going to die, aren’t they?”

She did not say anything.

She held his hand.

And they both sat there in silence for the rest of the night.
