Chapter 168 - Battle for Planet Earth (Part 3)

Friday 25th of October 2019 - Earth:

It was noon.

Nazar and Solace were doing something in the living room. He was changing something in the living room.

There was a massive hole in it a few minutes ago.

And now it was fixed.

Once he finished, he found that Emma and Aria were looking at him in confusion.

“What did you just do?” Emma asked him.

“I built a basement.”

“Why?”

“A place to store my comics and other personal stuff.”

“Like toys?” Aria said.

“They are not toys.”

“Oh, right.”

“But why does it have so much security?” Solace said.

“Well...”

“You are weird.”

Nazar just sighed.

“When are you going back home?”

“Uh, I am going to live here from now on.”

“Shit.”

“Oi.”

Both of them laughed.

Emma was confused.

“Can I see what you put in your basement?”

“Sure.”

She stood up.

“So, how do I get in?”

“Say ‘I want to go to heaven.’”

She gave him a blank look.

“Just say ‘Sentry is stronger than Superman’ and you should be fine,” Solace said.

“That’s weird.”

“Fine. Just change the password to something else,” Nazar said to Solace.

“Your suggestions include: ‘Rias is the best girl’, ‘Namor would kick Aquaman's ass’, ‘Thor is actually a God’, ‘Naruto is weak’, ‘I love OP characters’, ‘redhe--”

“Stop!”

Nazar thought about it.

“Make the password ‘let me in’.”

“Okay.”

After a few seconds, the password was changed.

“‘Let me in’?” Aria said.

As soon as she said that, a blue light appeared around her.

- “Aria Lorre. Age 19.” -

“What kind of surname is that?” Nazar said jokingly.

“Do you want to fucking die, bitch?” Aria said.

“Nope.”

- Blood type B+. Current nationality: Italian. Parents:--” -

“Why does it say so many stuff?”

Nazar shrugged.

After a few seconds, she vanished into thin air and appeared in the basement.

In the living room, she vanished into thin air.

She was teleported into the basement.

Solace followed her.

Nazar was about to do the same but…

“Sorry,” Emma said.

Nazar looked at her with a confused look on his face.

“Sorry about the other day.”

“Are you talking to me?”

She nodded.

“Oh…?”

“Look, it was in the heat of the moment and I said all those things...”

“Don’t worry about it. You were right. I have been pretending everything is centred around me but it does not. And I needed a reminder.”

Nazar smiled.

“So, thanks for that.”

“Huh?”

“It’s-- Hm?”

Nazar trailed off because he heard someone knocking on the door.

Now, it is something normal but everyone either teleports to this home or has a key.

So, it's rare to see someone knocking on the door.

Nazar saw use his x-ray vision and removed the barrier that was walls.

He can use this power to see someone’s skeleton but can also use it look beyond some barriers.

He saw a woman.

She had long blonde hair. Her hair were tied back. She was wearing a suit. And was holding a file in her hand.

Nazar did not know who she was.

So, he looked in her purse and looked at her ID.

He looked through her file and found out her name and job.

As he did, he frowned.

Nazar opened the door for her.

“I-I am Linda Davis. I am supposed to be your liaison.”

She looked a little scared.

“Yeah, I know who you are.”

“O-oh.”

“What do you want?”

“C-can I talk to you?”

“Yeah, sure. Come in.”

He left the door open.

She was not sure if she should go in.

She forced her fears down and entered the house.

It looked like a normal house.

“I have been expecting you for a while now.”

“So, you know about--”

“I saw it on the news. And was so close to hacking the system and finding out what you guys were planning… but I waited instead.”

“Oh.”

She was not sure how to react to this.

They entered the living room.

Emma found herself confused once she saw Linda.

“Who is that?”

She said it slowly but Linda heard it.

“Linda Davis. His liaison to the British and world government.”

“Oh…?”

She looked at Nazar with a confused expression on her face.

Nazar shrugged.

“I will leave you guys be.”

Emma left the room.

“Your sister seems nice.”

“She is.”

They sat opposite one another.

“So, can you tell me why I have a liaison? Do I need one?”

“I am not sure. But they need someone to let you know of some stuff that is happening and… well, you have to tell them some stuff in return. And it can be sent and received via official channels.”

“Why do you think I would tell any of you anything?”

“I… I don’t know.”

Nazar sighed.

“So, what is your first task?”

“To get to know you? I don’t know, that’s what it says here.”

She opened the file.

And then flipped through a few pages.

After a few seconds, she handed Nazar the file.

“Here is everything we have on you.”

Nazar flipped through the pages in less than a two seconds.

“That’s… that’s a lot of stuff.”

“Well, take your time and re--”

“I already read it.”

“Ah?”

He handed her the files.

“Is this the only copy?”

“Of course not.”

“You know, it's not hard for me to remove all of these files and make everyone forget it.”

“What are you…?”

“What I mean is… I don’t want you to think that you have anything that you can use against me. Or if you think you know me, then I throw that thought out of your head.”

“S-sorry. I didn’t want it to come off like that.”

“Of course, you didn’t. But I just want you to know that.”

Nazar formed a smile on his face.

“I want to know why did you accept this job?”

“I don’t think I have a choice.”

“Oh. Well, tell them I w--”

Nazar trailed off because something happened.

The whole planet vibrated at once.

Nazar could feel it all around the planet.

“What the--- No!”

“What is--”

“The Earth… it's no longer in our universe?”

He was not very sure of what he was saying.

But could not feel his universe’s energies. He could also not feel the sun.

“Damn it!”

He shouted and flew up through the roof.

He found out the world was pitch black in the middle of the day.

As soon as he got up, he looked up into the dark sky above the city.

He looked up and saw…

“Five more Earths?”

That’s right. Five other Earths could be seen from this Earth.

In this black sky, those Earths shone like the sun.

“...”

Nazar’s mind went blank.

Universe-1:

Arosus was at the centre of the universe.

This place used to be occupied by the Omega People but since the incident with Michael, they moved somewhere else. So, Arosus stays here now.

He was minding his business - which is usually just doing nothing - until a few seconds ago.

“Hmm?”

All of a sudden he felt something strange.

“Oh, so it's happening now.”

He immediately teleported himself to where Earth used to be.

“Interesting.”

He was looking at the blank space. There used to be a planet but it is no longer there.

In fact, the troposphere, stratosphere, etc. were there.

But the Earth itself, all of its people and the planes that were in the air had vanished.

“Ah, I remember it like it was yesterday. Let’s see how if it actually follows the script.”

He could not help but smile.

“Aiht, the Negative God… let’s see how it goes this time.”

A few hours later - Chochica Empire:

The High Priest of Chochica Empire, Baros was sitting on his throne.

He did not look happy.

“You are telling me Earth has vanished out of the face of the universe?”

“Yes, High Priest,” Lian replied immediately. “I just got a word from someone known as Arosus. He said that the Earth has vanished from its place. And it’s no longer in this universe.”

Baros thought about it.

“Who could it be?”

“I don’t know. He did not say anything.”

“...”

“Arosus is a… weird character. I cannot get a read on him. He knows something but won’t say anything.”

Baros stood up.

“We are one of the strongest empires in the universe. Even without our ‘special’ ones, we are powerful. I want you to go and work on finding ‘lost’ Earth. We cannot let our Lord Nazar get hurt in anyway. He is our ruler and as his subjects, we must protect him.”

He took a deep breath.

“Deploy everything. Find the Earth and our Lord Nazar.”

“Yes, High Priest.”

“Actually, I will take care of that. You go and ask your friends. This is beyond us. It might start to affect all of us.”

She nodded and vanished into thin air.

She appeared in front of Weq in Outox Empire. She appeared in the throne room.

“Did you hear about Earth?”

“Yes, I did.”

He stood up.

“There is a history book that shows something similar. Come with me.”

They were both warped into a portal and appeared inside a library.

The library was run by an AI.

- What can I do for you today, my Lord? -

“Get me info on a ‘missing planet’.”

- Certainly. -

There was silence for a minute or two.

- Approximately 993,338 years ago, an unknown planet vanished into thin air and then it reappeared a few days later. It was destroyed immediately. Then Planet Yira vanished approximately 457,341 years later. It vanished into thin air and not to be seen for the next 5 days. As soon as it appeared back in our universe, it exploded. -

“Huh?” Lian was not sure what the AI meant by that.

- As soon as the planet exploded, a being who called himself Aiht, the Negative God appeared. He declared himself a god and a being who is powered by negative emotions. We don’t know much about him besides his name and what he can do. -

“So, you are telling me...”

“Yes. If Earth appears back in this universe, it is highly likely that it will be destroyed by that being.”

“Is there a way to stop it?”

“We don’t know what he can do. But we can prepare a prison for him and capture him. And that way, we will be able to figure out how powerful he is and see if we can do anything about it.”

“Okay.”

“He is not a threat to be taken lightly. So, we need to work together.”

She nodded and left.
