Chapter 167 - Battle for Planet Earth (Part 2)
Nazar and Solace were still going through their hand-to-hand combat.
Well, it was more like Nazar getting his ass kicked every second by Solace and breaking a few bones.
They have been going at it for more than an hour now.
They only stopped because the door was opened.
It was Emma.
“Can you keep it down?” She said.
“Oh, sorry but I thought Solace had a barrier around us…”
“I did. I think she is just joking.”
“Wait, why are you at home today? Don’t you have college?”
“Ah, can’t be asked.”
“Hmm?”
Nazar looked concerned.
“Just kidding. I am going now.”
“Oh...”
“So, as I am late… can you teleport me?”
“Yeah, sure.”
Emma looked at him properly and then noticed the blood on the floor.
“Why is there blood on you and on the floor?”
“Oh, its nothing. Was just training.”
“Just clean it up after yourself.”
“Okay.”
Nazar waved his hand and she was teleported to her college.
“Okay, let’s continue.”
“Same thing?”
“No. I am going to do something else.”
“Hm?”
“I want to try push-ups. Let’s how many I can do.”
She gave him a blank look.
“With your stamina and strength… I would say forever.”
Nazar smiled.
“I mean differently.”
“How?”
Nazar fell to the ground.
And then he started pushing up.
He locked his right hand behind his back.
And then used his left hand's pinky finger to push up.
“Are you actually doing it with just one finger?”
“Mhmm.”
He did it a few times but it seemed to easy for him.
“Okay, so something else.”
He then started his whole hand.
“Sit on my back and slowly increase you weigh.”
“Okay.”
She did as Nazar said.
It went on for five minutes.
She started at her lightest weight which was 10KG but after five minutes, it went way above 1,000 KG.
She was about to increase it even further, but they stooped.
“Woah, what the hell happened here?”
“Um… what are you doing here, Aria?”
“Why do you hate me so much?”
“Who said I hate you? Just confused when and how you got here.”
“Oh. It’s because Aeron brought me here.”
Nazar started to look a little angry.
“Oh, come on.”
Solace got off Nazar’s back.
“And were you seriously doing push-ups now?”
Nazar nodded.
“Where is your shirt?”
“I thought I was going to sweat… but nothing has really happened.”

“Oh… And is that a scar on your back?”
"It's an old one."
“It’s pretty big. But don’t you heal?”
“I do. But I keep there myself. All of these scars,” Nazar pointed at his chest. “But I remove it so no one can see it.”
“Oh.”
The scars vanished.
“But why?”
“A reminder of the past.”
“And the blood?”
Nazar looked at his knuckles.
“Oh, these? Nothing really. Just punching something really hard.”
“Does it hurt?”
“I no longer feel pain.”
“Kind of cool, don't you think?”
Nazar shrugged.
She sat on the sofa.
Nazar’s finger twitched and the blood around his body vanished. And the blood on the floor was also gone.
Around him, his normal clothes appeared.
Nazar sat opposite her.
“So, why was Aeron here?”
She gave him a blank look.
“Oh come on. You do know very well that he was here because you were not here. First, you never told me about their death. And then I find it from a cousin who should have died nearly two decades ago. And then I come here and your sister is not being herself. And what else do I find? Yes, that’s right; you not being here. What a fucking dumbass. You were gone for a week. And then come back and boom goes again for two days. Where the hell have you been?”
“Yeah… well, things happened.”
“More important than her?”
“...”
She sighed.
“Look, stop being an idiot.”
“Okay.”
“Tch. And can you stop taking words from everyone? At least say something back. It’s so weird that we keep shouting at you and getting angry and all you do is lower your gaze. Stand up for yourself. Explain yourself.”
“Are you done?”
“No. We are going to have a long talk today.”
“Oh...”
Around Nazar, a gloomy aura appeared.
He really did not want his morning to be like this.
“And I need you to talk back. Stop being so quiet.”
She let out an exasperated sigh.
“Walk me through what happened since they died. I want to know.”
“Oh, you really don’t want to know everything.”
“Oh, come on. How hard can it be? I held a variation of omnipotence power once.”
Reality warping can be considered a variation of omnipotence in some stories. So, she picked it from there.
“Well…”
It took Nazar five minutes to tell her everything.
“Oh...”
Nazar laughed.
“It’s same with everyone. Even Lucifer was surprised but he used his powers to make it look like he wasn’t.”

For some reasons, Nazar had a proud smile on his face.
“So, you became omnipotent and then now you are normal again?”
“More or less.”
“And you rule over an alien empire since last night?”
Nazar nodded.
“Fuck.”
“...?”
“You know, I think I would have liked it if I died…..... is what you expected me to say, right?”
All of a sudden, she was smiling.
“Dude, that’s so fucking cool. I don't get why everyone is acting scared. That is awesome.”
This time Nazar was surprised for a second.
He then smiled.
“It kind of is… and scary.”
“Oh, and when did you return my reality warping to me?”
“When I ‘healed’ you. Thought you would like it. But don’t abuse it.”
“You got it, boss.”
She laughed.
“Man, I still can’t believe it. We are one fucking weird family, right?”
“Yeah, you said it.”
“You, a fucking god, Aeron a cosmic entity, me a reality warper, and your fucked up parents and my weird parents and our weird extended family. What a fucked up and weird family, right?”
“Yep.”
But for some reasons, they seemed very happy talking about stuff like this.
“You have reality warping as well?”
Nazar nodded.
“Damn it!”
A few hours later and a few miles away:
The British representative at that summit finally arrived from her ‘trip’ earlier this morning.
She was now relaxing in her bed at her home.
It was a small house in Kensington Palace Gardens. With just two bedrooms and a small kitchen but the price of the house was too high.
With her job, it was easy to acquire a place like this.
It was not a great house but she paid a high price for it.
As she was relaxing, someone knocked on her door.
“Tch. who is it now?” she said very slowly to herself.
She opened the door and saw her superior.
“Hello, Linda Davis.”
He was holding a file in his hand.
“Oh, hello, sir.”
She looked at her attire but it did not look professional, so she felt a little embarrassed.
“It’s okay, don’t worry about it.”
“Oh.”
“May I come in?”
“Sure.”
They entered the house.
They went to the kitchen.
“Want to drin--”
“No, thanks. I have some bad news for me.”
She gulped.
“Sit down, please.”
She sat down.
But the man did not sit down.
He placed the file on the table. It was a massive file.
“You have a new job.”
“...?”
“You are his liaison from now on. Nazar’s, I mean.”
“Ah, fuck,” she said as she frowned.
She immediately noticed who was standing next to her.
“Oh, I am sorry.”
“No, it's okay. I am sure I would have the same. Sorry kid, but this is from above.”
“O-okay.”
“Kid, take your time and read through the brief and everything else. I know you just came from a long flight, but you have a meeting with him tomorrow. So, read through the file tonight. I have summarised as much as I could but it's a lot of information, you have to go through the rest by yourself.”
“...”
She picked up the file and sighed.
The man left her alone.
Unknown place:
A man was levitating inside a dark place.
He had an energy field around him.
The energy field could be seen by everyone.
Behind him, the bikini armoured girl appeared.
“”
“”
He stood up.
He turned around and saw the woman kneeling before him.
She looked up and saw him.
He was a very, very tall man. He was muscular. He had shoulder-length green hair. And a long beard. He only had a robe around his lower body and that was it.
He had a few scars here and there.
“”
“”
“”
He started to walk past her.
As he did, she stood up and followed him.
“”
“”
“”
“”
“”
The man stopped.
“”
“”
The man smiled.
“”
He continued to walk.
She followed him.
“”
“”
They continued the rest of their walk in silence.
They walked through the dark place.
As they did, they reached a place that resembled a lab and a temple at the same time.
They walked into the room.
There were other people there too.
They seemed as powerful as the armoured bikini girl.
“”
They all looked very tense.
“”
Everyone exchanged glances.
“”
“”
One of them asked a question.
They looked very nervous.
“”
“”
“”
The man changed.
His hair got shorter and his beard vanished.
His dropped the rope and around him, a superhero-like tight bodysuit appeared.
It was a plain black suit.
Above the suit, a dark blue cape appeared.
Over the plain black suit, a few golden pins appeared on its shoulder. It connected the cape and the suit.
A dark blue belt appeared, separating his lower and upper body.
Dark blue boots also appeared.
“”
“” she said.
“”
“”
“”
“”
“”
“”
“”
“”
He smiled.

Old Riding Author Lunatic Asylum
Just off the A19, in the dark, incomprehensible lands known as Yorkshire, there lies a town. A town where shadow-silent alleys glint with the secret hunger of knives. Where blood soaks the chipboard window shutters of forsaken terraces stretching off into the night. Where the smog-choked air rattles with the depraved laughter echoing out from clubs that can only generously be described as post-apocalyptic. Well, that’s Middlesbrough. But down the A19 a bit (an impossibly long way down, actually) there lies another town: Raughnen, in the ancient, forgotten Old Riding. It is an equal match in muggery and thuggery alike. It also has magic spells and pointy wizard hats. And now, across the miles and across all sensibilities, a pretty nasty power (a magic one) calls out for its pretty nasty counterpart (a decidedly unmagic one): a proper sound Boro lad. Nothing good can come of it. This is a collection of one novella and four connected short stories: I. A Yorkshire Summoning II. Old Riding Day Trip (the novella) III. Heaven is a Parmo IV. Death on the 66 V. Death on the 257 In total, this comprises 34 chapters totalling around 35,000 words, so try not to worry. It will be over relatively quickly. There are three more short stories with more tenuous links to the core collection: Rush, Paper Round and Scenario 79: Sausage Fingers, all of which can be found in my collection Short Records of Misadventure. Reading these may allow you to make more sense of certain parts of the story, if any sense is to be made at all. NOTE: There are instances of prejudice and discrimination within these stories, including elements of sexism and ageism, which are purely the thoughts and actions of the characters involved and which certainly do not reflect my own views on these matters. ANOTHER NOTE; A WARNING, PERHAPS: This can get a bit weird. In less than 150 pages, we have four viewpoints, first and third person narratives, and a completely disjointed plot with lots of gaps, dead ends and no real resolution. Also ZERO lunatic asylums. It's all a bit odd. If that sort of thing isn't your cup of tea, which it most likely isn't, it might be best to move on now.

8 117A Wish
This is a story where there are no heroes and no villains. This is a tale about revenge, despair, and hope. This is a story where the truth is constantly hidden deep beneath the surface, and nothing is ever as it initially appears. The world is a stage. Every character has their part to play before their exit. They are actors, dancing on a stage set for them while searching for the truth behind the façade. Only time will tell whether they will be able to escape their predestined fate, to search for their happy end, or whether the promised end is nothing more than, a wish. Author's Note: Update will be very unpredictable as I travel quite a bit for my work.
