《New Life》Chapter 152 - Cosmic Entities (Part 5)
In a dark corner of the universe, a being with the power of a god has gone mad.
Gods and cosmic entities were trying to fight him.
However, it was useless.
With just a wave of Arosus’s hand, they were all thrown away.
They were thrown to the other sides of the universe.
“Woah, what the…?”
Nazar knew he was powerful but he thought he wouldn’t be stronger than all of them combined.
“He is very powerful, isn’t he?” Meltdown said.
“I don’t know what you were expecting, Ikel,” Solace said. “Always overestimate your enemies.”
“Nice. But that kind of logic is... weird?”
“Nazar thought its the best way to win against enemies. However, he hasn’t been using this knowledge for a while now. He became dumber.”
“Hey!”
“Sorry, Nazar but its true. You have become dumber.”
“Hey, I am still pretty smart. I can build the best--”
“Yeah, yeah, we know.”
Solace rolled her eyes.
“But its ultimately useless.”
“Solace, I am going to kill you one day.”
She giggled.
“Can we focus on what is in front of us?” Meltdown said.
“Yes.”
“Yes.”
Nazar, Solace and Meltdown were very close to Arosus.
Even though they were travelling fast, they still could not reach him. It was as if the space between Arosus and them.
They noticed that it is because of his control over the universe, but they were still flying towards him.
As for the others, even though they were powerful beings, they found their way back here far easily.
Some of them can teleport, and some of them can use magic. Some of the Gods changed their course and brought the others back with them.
Nazar was confused as to why he, Solace and Meltdown were not thrown away.
They flew even faster but the distance between them and Arosus increased.
“Why are we not being thrown away?”
“Maybe he wants to talk to us?”
“Yeah, right,” Nazar rolled his eyes when he said that.
“Maybe he is right?” Solace said.
Nazar thought about it for a second.
“According to my calculations, we should have been dead by now but his energies miss us. So, yeah, you might be right, Ikel.”
“Told you,” Meltdown said slowly.
“But if he wants to talk to us, why is the distance between us increasing?”
“Hmm...”
Solace did not have an answer for that.
“Maybe he does not know how to control his power?”
“You… You really onto something, Ikel,” Nazar sounded impressed.
“But we already knew that,” Solace said. “Yam told us.”
“Did he?”
“You weren’t listening?”
“I was…but--Actually, I don’t think I was listening.”
Solace kicked him in the side.
“Ow.”
“Good.”
“It didn’t hurt.”
Nazar tried to teleport next to Arosus but he couldn’t teleport.
Instead of getting closer, he got further away from Arosus.
Nazar was a few miles behind Solace and Meltdown.
Omegan flew close to Nazar.
“The space between us and his is constantly increasing. He doesn’t want to kill. I think he has no idea what he is doing. He does not know how to control his power.”
“I see.”
“I have a plan.”
“What is, Omegan?”
“I heard you have a lot of powers, but can you manipulate space like him?”
“Yes, why not. I can get any power I want.”
Omegan looked at him.
“Very convenient.”
“...”
“Anyway, manipulate the space. I think he is stronger than you but you should be able to help make this a little easier.”
“I can certainly try.”
“Don’t try. Just do it.”
“Okay?”
“Anyway, I have another plan in motion as well.”
“What is it?”
“Just watch.”
Omega flew away.
Nazar watched him as he flew away.
Nazar was flying towards Arosus while Omegan flew in a completely different direction.
Nazar kept on watching him.
Omegan reached the other Gods.
After five seconds, a bright white light covered the whole space around them.
“What the--”
Nazar was forced to close his eyes.
He opened it back after a minute.
Once he did, all the Gods had vanished.
“What…? Is that his--”
“What do you think, human?”
He heard Omegan’s voice. They were miles away but he still heard his voice in this dead space.
“??”
“I have combined with all other Gods. We are one now.”
“Ho?”
“And our powers are combined into one. I am stronger than ever.”
“Okay, so can you take him down?”
Nazar and Omegan spoke in a normal voice but they could hear each other perfectly.
“I can try. But I still have no power over space. If I get close enough, I might be able to do some damage but I can’t get close. So, can you do it?”
“Okay,” Nazar said as she nodded.
(I have never used space manipulation like this… I have only used it for teleportation and such. But… Here we go.)
Nazar knew how to use the power perfectly fine.
But still, it was new territory to him. He does not want to mess it up.
He took a deep breath.
So, he did just that.
He moved his hand and manipulated space.
However, as he was new to the power, he manipulated the space more than he should have. Planets after planets came crashing down towards Arosus.
He was nervous, so he messed up the calculations.
“Shit!!”
He immediately checked all the planets but they were empty. It did not have life in it.
But then he also remembered something else.
He has created new planets and shot them towards Arosus.
His calculations were way off.
“Oh… I did not think about that. Damn it!”
“Well done, human,” Omegan said as he flew past Nazar.
“Uh… What?”
Nazar followed him.
But Omegan was too fast for him.
So, he had pushed his boundaries.
He had to push beyond his current limits.
He turned into his energy form and pushed his limits.
However, he was still too slow for Omegan.
(Calculating...)
He calculated Omegan’s speed.
He was moving hundreds of times faster than the speed of light.
“Holy… That’s insane!”
But for some reasons, Nazar looked impressed.
He finished his calculations and manipulated the space once more.
This time the distance between them decreased significantly.
Nazar and Omegan were now very close.
When he got close, he changed back into his normal form.
And they were close to Arosus now.
“What…?”
Arosus talked for the first time.
His voice was coming from so many different directions.
“Ah, Nazar,” Arosus said.
“Okay, I like being recognised… but this is too much. What the hell have I done to deserve this? This is too much recognition.”

“Just bathe in its glory for now, human.”
“Look, don’t get me wrong… but being recognised by everyone is… I don’t know, getting annoying?”
They were still flying towards Arosus.
Arosus was not trying to throw them away this time.
“It’s weird, isn’t it?”
“Yeah...”
“Human, reduce the distance between us again.”
Nazar nodded.
He reduced the distance between them.
The very space between them was cut off.
The physical universe in front of them was ‘deleted’.
As they got closer, that deleted space was brought back. It came back.
Nazar was surprised as to what this power can really do.
He has had it for a while but never used it like this.
Arosus waved his hand.
He wanted to throw Omegan away.
But it did not work.
“Haha. It's useless. I am too strong.”
Nazar sighed.
Just a little away, the cosmic entities were coming up with a plan of their own.
“How did you guys stop Orosus? When she went mad with power?” the Dreamer asked.
“Let’s see… We gathered most of them and I talked to her,” Yam said. “It took us like a day but we managed to talk to her. And helped her calm down.”
“Um… What?”
Yam sighed.
“Look, we fought her and then I talked to her. Once I did, I helped her control her power.”
“Ah, I see.”
“But we can’t seem to even get close to him,” Orosus said.
She gave an exasperated sigh.
“It’s all his fault.”
“His?” Emat sounded confused.
“Nazar.”
“How?” Aeron sounded confused.
“You know, if he hadn’t placed them all in a confined space and then release it, we wouldn’t happen to have these godly powers. It's all his fault.”
“I see...”
“But that is not the reason why we exist.”
All of them looked at Yam.
“I am not sure if anyone besides me knows this… but we exist not because of the energies of other beings and such.”
“What?”
“We exist because he willed us into existence. Yes, those energies also exist within us but we wouldn’t have this power if he hadn’t willed us into existence.”
“Wait, a minute.”
Everyone looked at Aeron, the Dreamer.
“You are telling me that he willed us into existence? That he basically directed those energies within us?”
“Basically.”
“So, if he didn’t ‘will us into existence’, we would have never gotten this power?”
“Yes.”
“Does he know that?”
“No. I don’t think so.”
“I see.”
“So, he can get rid of us? Can remove get this power away from us?” Orosus asked.
“Probably,” Yam replied.
“If he can… I would want him to get rid of my power.”
“Oh. Anyone else wants their powers removed?” Yam asked them. “I don’t want mine gone.”
“Same here,” Aeron said.
“I don’t want mine gone either,” Emat said.
“Same,” Technod said.
“I would love to get back to how I was… But if it means burdening this power on someone else… then I don’t want that,” the elemental cosmic entity known as Elemi said. “So, I will keep it.”
Most of these so-called cosmic entities said they would rather keep their powers.
“Well, then it's just me.”
She let out another sigh.
“I guess--”
“I am sure my brother can pass your powers to someone else?”
She thought about it.
Will let someone else be burdened with this power? Or will she need to learn to live with her powers?
“Damn it.”
She flew towards Arosus.
She was flying very fast.
She easily caught up to Nazar and Omegan.
She held Nazar by the back of his collar and dragged him behind her.
“It’s your mess, so fix it.”
She sounded very angry.
“Omegan and you Cosmic Entities, attack him with everything you have. And you, human, come with me.”
Nazar did not struggle.
She then caught Solace and Meltdown and took them with her.
“You are all coming with me.”
“Okay?”
None of them tried to struggle.
“You pathetic human… playing the role of a god when--”
“Oh, shut the fuck up.”
“Huh?”
“It isn’t my fault that you have this power. It’s--”
“Yes, it is. You don’t even know that, do you?”
Omegan and the other cosmic entities attacked Arosus at the same time.
They shot massive beams of energy as well as physical attacks.
Though most of the physical attacks were useless.
So, they all focused on energy based attack.
“You mess with other people’s life… What gives you the right, huh?”
“Tch.”
All the cosmic entities and Omegan merged their energy beams.
It was getting bigger and bigger.
After a few seconds, the radius of the beam was at least 10 miles.
Once Arosus learned what was happening, he tried to fight against it… but stopped.
He took the energy beam head-on.
Once it hit him, he shrieked.
As he shrieked, his mouth opened.
So, Orosus threw all three of them inside his mouth.
“!!”
“!!”
“!!”
“Finish this, human.”
Once Nazar, Meltdown and Solace were inside Arosus, his mouth closed.
He waved his hand and all of them were thrown away.
Of course, Nazar and the other two did not know what was going on outside.
The reason was simple.
They were inside Arosus.
Within him, its nothing but darkness.
“It...feels like this place is… as big as a universe?”
Meltdown sounded unsure.
Nazar looked around him.
“Those are not white dots.”
“Yeah, those are stars,” Solace finished what Nazar was saying.
“Seriously?” Meltdown sounded surprised.
“Welcome to my world.”
A voice came from different directions.
Nazar tried to look for him but couldn’t find him.
From below them, someone appeared.
A being made of white light appeared in this dark world.
They looked down.
“Arosus?”
“Yes.”
Even though he was right in front of them, the voice was still coming from so many different directions.
Arosus flew up and stood in front of them.
“So, why are you here, Nazar?”
“To stop you.”
“Stop me? What have I done?”
Arosus sounded confused.
“You have been destroying planets apparently.”
“What are you saying? I have not left this place for days.”
All of a sudden, black light took over the bright white light.
And then Arosus spoke again.
“You are mine now.”
The small bit of light was gone now.
The darkness enveloped them.
