Arc 97 - Prelude to Fallen Angel Uprising (Part 1)
Friday, 13th of September 2019:
It was evening and Nazar was watching something on the TV. More specifically, it was a news report on the Godslayers.
“- We have not found anything regarding the terrorist group known as the ‘Godslayers’. They seem to have advanced technology and some of them are ex-Federal agents. We have tried to get a comment from the Pentagon but we did not get any answers. -”
Nazar sighed.
“Solace?”
“Yes, Nazar?” Solace said as she appeared out of thin air.
“Have you found where exactly planet Hura is?”
“Not yet.”
“I see.”
“Anyway, Norse God is waiting for you.”
“Not again.”
“It’s not drinking this time. He asked if you were free to watch a movie. And I said yes, you are free.”
“You could have made an excuse like...uh...um...”
“That your mom said ‘no’?”
“That is a perfect one.”
Solace gave him a blank look.
“Where is Emma?”
“She is upstairs.”
“Call her, will you?”
“Okay.”
Emma entered the room after a few minutes.
“What is it?”
“I wanted to let Aria know about how we are related. I am not sure, but I think she will be happy.”
“Okay.”
Nazar waved his hand and Aria appeared.
“Huh? Wh-Oh.”
Her confused expression was soon replaced by a relieved one. But Nazar and Emma became more confused.
“What happened to you?”
“Oh, this,” Aria said as she looked at herself, “I am growing a very fast rate and it is getting annoying. In a month, I grow by a year.”
Aria, who is older than Nazar looked like a child before Nazar left, but now she looked about two years older.
“At this rate, I would be dead soon.”
“So, this is why you left?” Emma said.
“Ah, yes. Well, I thought it would freak you guys out--oookay, I guess not.”
While she was saying that, Emma hugged her.
“Why would you think that?”
“I… I don’t know.”
Nazar stood up and placed his hand on her shoulder.
“Hm?”
“I did not bring you back from the dead, just to let you die.”
“What…?”
“I can age you to your rightful age. And from there you will age normally. Is that okay?”
Aria’s eyes widened with surprise.
“Y-you can do that?”
“When you were fucking up the reality, I added a new power called time manipulation. I used it to stop you, remember?”
“Oh. Then, yes. Please.”
Nazar smiled.
He closed his eyes and his hand lit up with energy.
As soon as it did, Aria started to grow up. Within seconds, she was at her rightful age.
And clothes started to appear around her.
Nazar opened his eyes and a grown-up Aria was standing before him.
She had long red hair and big blue eyes. She was a little shorter than Emma.
Aria looked down at her body and started to laugh.

“This is… This is sooo awesome.”
“At this point, I shouldn’t be surprised but… wow. That was kind of cool?”
“Yep.”
“And now I am younger than all of you...”
“And I shorter than you?! What the hell?”
Nazar sighed.
After a little while, Nazar told her how Emma is his real sister.
“Um… It’s just kind of--”
“Hard to believe? I know.”
Aria then looked at Nazar.
“But seriously, why did not notice it earlier?”
“Uh… Um...” Nazar tried to speak but he had no idea what to say.
“Okay, forget this idiot, let’s do a group hug,” Aria said.
“Nah, I am good.”
“Respect your elders.”
Nazar gave her a blank look.
And then high sighed.
(Alice. I need to ask her something.)
Later that night, Nazar was lying on his bed. And he could not stop thinking about what Alice had done.
So, he needed to do something. He needed to go to her and talk to her.
(Now, where is she?)
He sat down on his bed.
(I need to find her.)
“Solace?”
“Yes?”
Solace appeared out of thin air.
“Do you think you can find her?”
“I am sorry, but no. Other planes of existence are outside of my reach.”
Nazar then vanished into thin and appeared floating above the city.
(Summon Aarin.)
A few seconds later, a bright white light appeared over London and then Aarin appeared. As she did, the light went dimmer and dimmer.
“Hello,” Nazar said to her.
“Hi.”
“I need to ask you something.”
“What is it?”
“Did you know about Emma being my biological sister?”
Aarin’s eyes widened with surprise.
“But your sister died...”
“So, you don’t. Well, Alice had saved her. She had sold her soul to a devil and saved her. So, I wanted to ask you if you knew where she was.”
Aarin looked horrified for a second.
“Sold her soul…?”
“Yes. Now, I know it is a shock, but do you where she is?”
Aarin thought about it for a minute.
“Last time I spoke to her - about two weeks ago - she was in Heaven. But she said she was leaving for another universe.”
“Damn it.”
“I will look for her and ask her that question when I find her.”
“Thanks.”
“Anyway, what about you? Are you okay?”
“Yes. And you?”
“I am fine too.”
“I see. Any idea where Lucifer might be?”
“No.”
“I see.”
Aarin took a deep breath.
And then she smiled.
“What?”
“Nothing.”
Nazar frowned when he heard that.
“Fine. I see your emotions now. And your ‘love’ emotion is pretty strong.”
Nazar’s face went red.
“And as the Angel of Love, I can see where that emotion is directed at.”
“Wh-what are you trying you say?”
“I see. Laura, huh?”
“Wh-wh-what kind of sorcery is that?”
“I am an angel, remember?”

Aarin went closer and placed her arm on his shoulder.
“So, tell me what happened.”
“Uh… No.”
“Or do you want me to find out by myself?”
Nazar sighed.
“What do you want to know?”
“Who is she?”
“Remember that girl who used to work for me?”
“Oh?”
“So, when I was dying in that dark place, I found my way here and then she kissed me. So, that’s how it started.”
“Stop lying to me. More happened, didn’t it?”
“Anyway, I wanted to ask something.”
“Hm?”
“Was ‘Merlin’ a man or a woman?”
“A man. If I was a woman and a magician, they would have already burnt me.”
“I see.”
“Why did you ask?”
“I just wanted to know, that’s all.”
“I see.”
“Wait, does that mean…?”
“Yes.”
“No...”
“I am serious. King Arthur was real.”
“And Knights of the Round Table?”
“Yes.”
“That’s so awesome.”
“Did you just ask that question so you don’t have to talk about ‘that’?”
“No.”
“Anyway, I need to get going. I will send Alice if I ever see her.”
“Thanks.”
“Bye.”
“Bye.”
Aarin then vanished into thin air.
Nazar floated above the city for a little while.
“I guess, I will leave for space now--”
“Are you really going to do that?”
Solace appeared out of thin air.
“You just came back from space.”
“But if I leave them be--”
“As Laura said, you should take a break from all of this for a little while.”
“I know, but I… I need to at least meet that ‘space hero’.”
“I know. But wait at least a week or so. You might not feel physical pain but you should not stress yourself out.”
“...”
Nazar felt something vibrate in his pocket. It was his phone.
He picked it up and it was a call from Laura.
Nazar’s shoulder jerked.
But he answered it anyway.
“H-Hello?”
“- Oh, so you are finally back? -”
“Hm?”
“- Well, I have been calling to see how you were but then you did not answer until now. -”
“I was somewhere else.”
“- I see. So, how are you doing? -”
“Good. You?”
“- So, what are you doing now? -”
“I was thinking of going to space to deal with the ‘hero’ from the Void.”
“- I see. But you should take a break from that. You already went through so much shit, so do you have to do it? -”
“...”
Nazar did not reply for a little while.
“I am just going to look for some information. That’s it.”
“- I see. Well, then, good luck. -”
“Thanks.”
“- Bye. -”
“Bye.”
“- I love you. -”
Nazar’s shoulders jerked again.
And then he heard Laura laugh on the phone.
Nazar hangs up the phone and teleported out.
Heaven:
Aarin returned to her quarters.
She lied down on the bed and took a deep breath.
“Alice, what have you done?” She muttered.
“I wonder who Alice is?” Another voice came through.
She immediately sat up and saw...
“L-L-LUCIFER?!?!”
As soon as Aarin saw him, she started trembling in fear.
Lucifer is the most powerful of angels and he is also a fallen angel. So, it is normal for her to feel fear.
“Wh-wh-wh-wh-wh--”
“I am here to ask you something.”
Lucifer went closer to Aarin.
He sat on her bed.
“I heard you are in love with me, but that is because of your power, right?”
Aarin did not reply. She was too scared and also pretty surprised too.
Lucifer then picked her up by her neck.
“You are really pathetic, are you not?”
He slammed on her on the wall.
“Now, tell me everything you know about that human.”
He narrowed his eyes.
“And I mean everything.”
“N-No,” Aarin said as she coughed blood.
Lucifer smiled.
He opened a portal and took her with him.
He took her to an unknown location. The whole place was just black. Once Lucifer waved his hand, the whole place turned into a torture room.
He threw her inside.
He moved his hand and many cuts appeared on Aarin’s body. Her arms, her legs, and all over her body.
“Tell me everything you know about him. If you don’t, I will continue torturing you for centuries to come.”
Aarin did not say anything.
He punched her in the face and it nearly broke every bone in her body.
If Lucifer did not hold back, she would have been dead by now.
Lucifer then cut off her hand and reattached it. Just for fun.
He then did the same to all of her limbs and attached it unnaturally.
“Tell me about the human.”
“I… I don’t--”
“You don’t know?”
Lucifer laughed.
“As I said, you are pathetic.”
He kicked her in the sides and she coughed blood.
“No. I was going to say, I don’t know much about him--”
“Stop lying to me.”
After breaking every bone in her body, Lucifer took control of her mind and she told him everything she knew about Nazar.
Lucifer could have used this method, but he just wanted her to tell him without controlling her.
Once she told him everything she knew, he did not look satisfied.
He sighed and used his telepathy to enter her mind.
He then got all the information he needed.
“Well, it really is not much… but it has been a while since I tortured an angel.”
He healed her and then broke every bone in her body again. He ripped her skin apart and reattached it unnaturally.
After an hour or so, he opened a portal and threw her through the portal.
It might have been an hour to everyone else but to Aarin it was months.
