Arc 95 - Godslayers (Part 6)

Berlin:

The mercenaries with power suits were also attacking a few schools in Berlin.

Nazar appeared above Berlin.

Solace was there with him too.

“How many?”

“30 different schools.”

“30, huh? Shouldn’t be hard.”

“They are not trying to hide. And they have armed every single student with bombs. And they are going to blow up in 30 seconds after you come into contact with even one of the mercenaries..”

“30 seconds? Can do that in light speed.”

“It is true. But.”

“Hm?”

“I have calculated it over hundred times. Even if you go in your Angel Slayer form, you won’t be able to save them all.”

“How many students?”

“I calculate about 28,000 students and teachers and other staff and other random people who are caught in it.”

“WHAT?!” Nazar seemed surprised. “Ho did they do that?”

“I think the attack on London was just a decoy.”

“...”

“Even if you create clones, it would lower your productivity of it by a massive margin. I calculated at least by 3,000%.”

“Damn it,” Nazar muttered.

Nazar thought even more.

(Nigh-Omnipresence. Just present. Just Earth. Just this city. Focus on just the schools that are affected.)

He calculated the area of the city and used his Nigh-Omnipresence to find them.

After a second, he turned off his Nigh-Omnipresence.

“Damn.”

“Want me to deploy all of the N-Spheres?”

“Yes. But we don’t have enough..”

“True.”

“Start mass producing it. I will help.”

“Okay.”

The spaceship started producing the N-Spheres at the other side of the galaxy and Nazar started doing it on Earth.

Within 25 minutes, they managed to make up for it.

“32,000 N-Spheres coming up. But.”

“You need my energy for it to be even remotely useful. Right?”

“Yes.”

“I will give you everything.”

Swarms of N-Spheres appeared around Nazar.

(Remove limiters.)

Nazar took a deep breath.

He relaxed his shoulders and held out his hands.

His whole body turned into energy.

If anyone was looking up, they would see bright energy started to appear. But if they were not, they looked up anyone because it looks the sun was just a few hundred meters above them.

They close their eyes but it was useless as they felt intense heat as well.

Nazar was about to blow up like a star… but his N-Spheres were here to contain it. He is not going to blow up, but he would if the N-Spheres were not here.

So, all the energies he unleashes when he blow up like the sun is about to be absorbed by the N-Sphered. Within seconds, they were fully charged and they flew in different directions at the speed of sound.

While they were moving, they were still absorbing Nazar’s energies.

However.

“It’s not enough.”

Nazar was struggling to give them energy.

“At the current rate, 23% of them can be late by 1 second, 10% of them will be late by 2 seconds, 3% of them will be late by 5 seconds.”

(Increase power just for 1 minute.)

Nazar closed his eyes.

(Accessing Nazar 9.0.)

He accessed a different form.

(Blow up like a star.)

Once he blew up like a star in his angel slayer form… the N-Spheres could not hold it all together. They were about to be overloaded.

“They are going to overload.”

“Damn it,” Nazar muttered.

(Accessing Nazar 8.0. And then blow up like a star.)

However, it was still too much.

“Just go down by two forms.”

(Accessing Nazar 6.0.)

“Perfect.”

Nazar relaxed a little.

“They will all reach on time and save everyone.”

“O...Okay.”

“Should we start?”

“Y-Yes.”

Nazar unleashed one last burst of energy.

And the N-Spheres increased their speed. They were moving at unimaginable speed.

The N-Sphere took their positions. They were invisible behind every student, teacher, other members of staff, and other people who were caught up in the incident.

As soon as the N-Spheres appeared, the mercenaries registered Nazar’s energy. As soon as they registered it, then the countdown started.

“What will you do against us?”

“You can’t save them all.”

“How does it feel, ‘hero’?”

“To not save anyone?”

Then one of them noticed something.

“Hm?”

“What is it?”

“His energy is being registered, but is he not showing himself?”

“Y-yeah, it's weird.”

Every single N-Sphere lit up with bright white light. It was too bright to even see.

And it did its job. First, it got rid of all the bombs and any other weapons. Then it teleported every student and anyone else involved in the incident. They were teleported outside the school

Then, the N-Spheres teleported all the attackers somewhere else. They were teleported just below where Nazar and Solace were floating.

As soon as they were teleported, Solace placed a barrier around them, so they would not harm the bystanders.

As soon as the job was done, Nazar started to fall down. And all the N-Spheres overloaded and blew up with the bombs and because they were overloaded. However, they teleported themselves out and went into that special room on the spaceship.

Nazar was falling down and he was getting dimmer and dimmer.

Solace was busy taking care of the incident, so she did not notice him.

(Ah.)

While Nazar was falling down, he noticed something.

(I am an idiot.)

Yes. He could have solved this a lot easily and much faster. And he would not have been falling down.

(I could have used time manipulation...but I did not think I had that power.)

With time manipulation, he should be able to stop time and get rid of all of the bombs and save everyone.

(I… I don’t remember every detail anymore.)

Before, he could remember even the smallest of the details. But now, he is losing that ability of his.

(I don’t even remember the full list of my powers.)

He was falling faster and faster and people noticed him.

Nazar was about to be splattered across the asphalt...

“Recharge!”

He said it out loud and all of his powers returned to him.

(Accessing Nazar 3.0.)

Instead of falling on his face, he landed on his feet.

He looked around and saw the confused people. But he ignored them.

He went straight for the mercenaries.

He picked one of them up. Their mind was blank. He restored their memories.

Once inside their memories, he saw someone. From the mercenary's memories, he entered someone else’s mind.

From there, he found out who the other person was. From their mind, he went on to someone else’s and then found something.

“I was right,” Nazar sounded serious. “It was you, Ishaya.”

He dropped the mercenary and started to fly.

He flew faster and faster and faster. It was so fast that not even Solace could catch up to him.

So, instead, she teleported out.

London - Bradley Conglomerates HQ:

Ishaya was in a meeting with his employees. They were watching the part of Nazar where he was in Germany. They were watching the live feed from a government surveillance camera.

“Wha-what is that?”

“If you look at his energies, it is off the charts.”

The screens in front of them had an AI that tried its best to analyse Nazar’s energy.

“What is he doing?”

“The temperature is increasing?”

“It looks like a star is about to blow up.”

Once they heard that, they all gulped.

“Can he really do it?”

“When I was in Venice with him, that alien said that he destroyed a whole solar system,” Ishaya finally said something. He has been quiet for the last 10 minutes or so.

“S-solar system?”

“Ah. He becoming dimmer and dimmer.”

“And what is that woman doing?”

“He is falling?”

“And falling?”

“Is she not going to save him?”

“Well, if he dies, then it is perfect-- Wait, he is regaining his balance?!”

The chatter went on and on about what he is doing.

“He landed and then now he is holding one of them by their neck.”

They just watched in silence.

“He started to fly now.”

BOOM!!

They all heard a massive sonic boom.

The other side of the city:

Solace appeared above London. And as soon as she appeared, she also heard a massive sonic boom. It was so loud that it could have caused her ear injury if she was human.

Now, moving at a speed that is faster than teleportation should not produce a sonic boom, but Nazar was doing this on purpose. He wanted Ishaya to know he was coming for him.

She tried to get in front of him, but he just phased through her.

And as he was flying, the windows in the surrounding buildings started to shatter.

He was headed straight for a building. The Bradley Conglomerates HQ. It was located in Central London.

He flew through the top floor and did not find his prey.

He then used his x-ray vision and found them just a floor below.

He did not care if anyone was hurt. He just flew through the floor and reached his destination.

He appeared in their meeting.

As he flew down through the building, the debris started falling down.

Ishaya and the others immediately went to the other side of the room to try and be safe.

And once they were far away, they looked at the damaged part of the room.

The dust and debris were keeping the attacker hidden from their view… but they saw one thing.

Red glowing eyes.

Once Ishaya and the others saw that they gulped. Cold sweat poured down their face. And their breathing became erratic.

The glowing eyes started to walk towards them.

Some of them ran away. Some of them were frozen in fear to even move.

“Why?”

Nazar asked a simple question.

“Why did you do it?”

The debris stopped falling down and they called finally see him.

“Why did you try and kill those poor children?”

“Be-because I wanted to kill you.”

Nazar sighed.

He calmed down a little.

His glowing eyes were replaced by his own.

“I told you before if you want to come at me, by all means, do it. But if you take a detour, I will show you my wrath.”

Solace landed in the room as well.

“Nazar. Don’t.”

“I am not going to kill you.”

“Then why are you here?”

Nazar smiled.

“I am going to destroy your life. Your company. Your fortune and more.”

“Nazar, don’t. Thousands will lose their jobs.”

“Solace. Shut down.”

As soon as he said that, Solace vanished into thin air.

Ishaya looked confused.

“Wh-what are you going to do?”

Ishaya felt fear.

“Why did you use innocent people as a shield?”

“...”

“If you wanted data, you could have just nuked me or something. Why use them?”

Nazar walked slowly towards him.

“I… Because I hate you. That’s why I did it.”

“Why do you hate me?”

“Because I am supposed to be the one who was born with everything. Because I am supposed to be the one who had everything. Because I am supposed to be the special one. Why did it have to be you?”

“You think this power is special?”

Nazar stood in front of Ishaya. He was taller than Ishaya. So, when Nazar looked down at him, Ishaya looked even angrier.

“Everyone of you idiots think like that. But let me give you the taste of this power.”

Nazar placed his hand on his shoulder and his hand became energy.

“Imagine hearing every thought of every person. Imagine seeing people pretend to be happy but you only see and hear their sad side. Imagine not being able to die when you want to end it all. Imagine being used as a weapon. Imagine your own parents think of you as nothing but a lab rat. Imagine feeling everyone’s sadness and misery. Imagine dying over and over again because you are special… Imagine… Imagine… That’s all you can do for now. I have lived with it.”

“Arghh?!?!”

Ishaya’s eyes lit up with energy.

“Feel everyone’s pain and misery and sadness. Feel their true selves.”

Nazar gave him the power of empathy. He only showed him the negative feelings of everyone in the city.

However…

“Hehehe.”

Ishaya started to laugh.

“HAHAHA!!”

Nazar’s mind went completely blank due to confusion.

“Wh-what?”

Ishaya’s form started to change.

“You?!”

“Yes. Me.”

“What the hell are you doing here, Reaper?”

The Reaper was now pretending to be Ishaya Bradley?!
