Arc 80 - The Nameless One (Part 7)

The Nameless One vs Lucifer. It was bound to happen soon enough.

Lucifer shot his 6 wings towards the Nameless One. Instead of 2 wings, he has 6 wings now. 2 white, 2 black and 2 grey wings.

“Let’s end this once and for all, shall we?”

He increases the size of his wings to a few kilometres. He managed to land a few hits on the Nameless One.

He managed to dodge a few more attacks from Lucifer.

In Lucifer’s hand, a massive energy sword appeared.

“I don’t have enough power to fight you. We were supposed to be on the same side.”

“We have been working together for more than 1,000 years but only because I wanted to defeat you. How did you fall for it?”

“...”

Lucifer shot himself towards the Nameless One.

“I have more power than you, right now. We can do this.”

(Did he never consider that Lucifer will betray him? What an idiot?)

Nazar moved over a little.

And at that moment, another figure started to float next to him.

“I have come to help.”

Nazar looked to his right and saw who it was.

“I am the God of Power.”

“Ah?”

Nazar was all battered up.

“Ah.”

The god looked at him in confusion.

“Can you kill me?”

“Why do you want to die?”

“I can get myself back to full power if I die.”

“I se--”

Before he could finish what he was saying, the Nameless One was thrown towards him. He tried to catch the Nameless One, but instead, they were both thrown away.

“Get out of my way, little god,” Lucifer shouted.

Lucifer shot towards the Nameless One.

However, there was a massive barrier formed around Lucifer, which limited his movement.

“Lucifer? What has gotten into you? It was part of the plan that you would help him by giving him ‘hope’. You are going too far.”

(...) Nazar’s mind went completely blank.

“It was part of the plan that you will give him a false hope but then crush it for him. So, you can stop pretending.”

(How on earth did I ever believe that bastard? I was naive to even remotely think he would help me.)

“Yes. I went exactly as we planned. I made him beat me, but I did not pretend. I was actually defeated. He managed to depower me.”

The Nameless One’s eyes widened with surprise.

“I made him trust me and everything was going as planned… but, I finally found someone on the same power level as me. I finally found...”

Lucifer’s face was ripped with a very thin, thin smile.

“...some entertainment.”

Lucifer shot his wings towards the Nameless One and it broke through his barrier.

The Nameless One created an even stronger barrier around Lucifer.

“I am stronger than you, Lucifer.”

“No, you are not.”

“I achieved enough power after killing Nazar 100 times, but I continued on killing him for a long time. I killed him over 500 different times at his ‘God Slayer’ mode.”

Nazar’s eyes widened.

(500...times? I am losing my memories at an even faster rate. I don’t remember anything that happened before July. I will have Solace to return them to me, if I survive.)

Nazar stared at the darkness blankly.

(I… I just have only a small amount of power. Enough power for only one teleport of 100 miles.)

“So, you still want me to kill you?”

“Yes, please.”

“But I don’t think it will work.”

“I… ”Nazar thought for a minute. “It worked before. So, I guess it is worth a try.”

The God of War nodded.

He then punched Nazar in the head.

Nazar ‘revived’ after a few seconds.

“Shit. My power went back to 0. I am starting back from square 1.”

Nazar looked at Lucifer and the Nameless One. They were fighting in close range now.

Lucifer had a massive energy sword in his hand and so did the Nameless One.

Their swords clashed with one another.

“Come on, Lucifer. We are so close.”

“Yes, we are. But I don’t want everything to destroy when it got this interesting.”

“Huh?”

“Your abomination is making things interesting. I can’t just let everything end just now.”

“...”

They both moved away from each other a little.

Out of nowhere, the whole place lit up with multiple forms of energies. And then a sun appeared. And then a planet. And then people on that planet.

Nazar looked around him and saw people.

The world progressed faster and faster. The ‘humans’ evolved within minutes in front of Nazar. The whole place evolved. It went from nothing to huts, to houses, to buildings, and more. Within minutes, millions of years passed for that world.

“Look at my power, Lucifer. I am so close. Both of us can kill that bastard once and for all.”

“I am above you, Nameless One. I always have been.”

The Nameless One laughed.

“Seriously?”

“I have the power of all angels. And now, I have got my original power as an angel back. And I also got powers of a demon now.”

“What?”

The Nameless One looked confused.

“You see, while we were working together, I came up with plans. Plans for getting my real power back. And getting demonic powers. So, since my ‘deal’ with that human, I went there and got all these powers.”

“...”

“That human is really interesting. So, I want to see how he changes the things.”

The Nameless One waved his hand and the planet, and the sun vanished.

“Damn it, Lucifer.”

They both shot towards each other at speed for the speed of light.

Nazar could not see what was going on.

“Are you not going to help?”

“I will. Soon.”

“How does your powers work?”

The god smiled.

“I have all of their powers. Every angel, every demon, every person who has powers, excluding you and the Nameless One and Lucifer. Everyone from across the multiverse and other dimensional planes of existence.”

Both Lucifer and the Nameless One stopped exchanging blows.

The God of War did something. He shot towards the Nameless One at a speed that could not be recorded.

He took the Nameless One away from Lucifer. Lucifer did not even notice that.

“Ah?”

Lucifer looked at Nazar blankly.

Nazar shrugged.

“Never knew someone that powerful existed?”

“Lucifer, while those two kill one another, why don’t we talk?”

“Hm?”

“So, this whole thing was your plan? Why is everything so fucking confusing? Why are all plans so confusing? Why can’t you guys make simple plans?”

“I don’t care about that. I just wanted to kill that bastard… or maybe just entertain myself? Who knows?”

At that moment, the Nameless One was thrown towards Lucifer.

Lucifer managed to minimise the damage by increasing the size of his wings and then surrounding it around himself.

As soon as the Nameless One touched Lucifer’s wings, he was thrown towards Nazar.

Nazar immediately evaded by jumping up. However, it is was not really a jump, since he stayed up there.

The god then stood next to Nazar. He was bleeding all over. His eyes were bleeding and he was coughing blood.

“Too much power. I have never used this much power at once.”

He looked like he was about to faint any second.

“Imagining having all power across the multiverse flowing inside me and using it at the same time. It’s too much. How does these two manage this much power.”

“I have enough power to maybe heal you? But I am not sure if it will work.”

“No, it’s fine. I can do that myself.”

His whole body turned green and then he was perfectly fine.

“Wow.”

The god looked at him and smiled.

The Nameless One finally recovered. He moved towards the god at full speed and took him away.

When he took him away, he punched him over and over and over again. Until the god started to bleed out. However, the god just healed up. So, the Nameless One kept on punching and punching him for a long time.

Lucifer shot towards both of them. He tried to grab the Nameless One but from his back, a massive hand, made of energy appeared and punched Lucifer and he was thrown away.

“HOW MUCH POWER DO YOU HAVE?!?!” The Nameless One shouted on top of his lungs.

“The power to beat the shit out of you. Haha--bwegh?!?!”

The Nameless One punched him over and over again.

Lucifer tried to attack him again but the Nameless One shot a massive energy beam towards Lucifer.

Lucifer managed to evade it.

“Your power is going down as we speak,” the god said.

The Nameless One paused. He stopped punching the god before him and tossed him away. However, he went back and started beating the crap of out of that god.

“Lucifer!” Nazar shouted out.

Lucifer looked at him in annoyance.

“What is it, human?” He also sounded annoyed.

“Can you create a similar barrier around him? The way I did to you?”

Lucifer thought for a minute.

“No. How did you do it?”

“First, place a barrier around this place. Just a few miles.”

“Okay.”

Lucifer did as Nazar said.

A massive invisible barrier appeared around them.

“Then place add energy to it.”

Lucifer gave him a puzzled look.

“Then look at his energies.”

Lucifer did as Nazar told him.

“Then trace all that external energies, that is similar to his and different from mine, so you have to dig deeper and deeper, to trace an irregular energy.”

Lucifer did as he was told. He went on for a few minutes but then he just frowned.

“I have no idea what I am supposed to do.”

Nazar touched his head.

“I… I don’t really know. I have so much of my memories. But just do as I say. Please.”

“I can’t. I have no idea what am I supposed to do.”

“Damn it.”

Nazar thought about a minute.

“I have an idea.”

“...”

“Turn off your omnipresence, will you?”

Lucifer gave him a confused look.

“And then let’s swap consciousness for a few minutes.”

Lucifer laughed.

“No. What kind of idiot would do that?”

“Me?”

“I want to beat the shit out him by myself.”

Nazar just sighed.

“Good luck with that.”

Lucifer shot towards the Nameless One again, but he instead placed a barrier around both the god and the Lucifer.

Lucifer actually lost his extra power. He had his original angel powers, but the barrier was too powerful.

“You did not understand what he told you. But I did.” The Nameless One then looked at Nazar. “Thank you, my abomination.”

Lucifer and the god tried to break out but they couldn’t.

“I just nullified your extra power. Both of you. Lucifer, you still have your own power, you don’t have the extra power you get from other angels.”

Nazar smiled.

Lucifer saw that.

The distance between them was massive, but Lucifer could still see him.

“Lucifer, you know what you have to do.”

Lucifer heard what Nazar said.

“Turn off your omnipresence and lets swap consciousness.”

“...”

“Or you can stay right there forever.”

Lucifer thought about it for a minute.

(Maybe I could learn more about how his body works?) Lucifer thought.

He then sighed.

“Come on, do as he says. I really want to see what my abomination is capable with your power. He is still going to die.”

“Fine.”

Lucifer and Nazar exchanged bodies. Lucifer was in Nazar’s body and Nazar was in Lucifer’s body.

When Nazar got inside Lucifer’s body, he felt the rush of power. More power than he has ever felt. It took him a minute to get used to all that power.

Lucifer looked confused in Nazar’s body.

“I can’t move,” Lucifer said.

(“Haha. I limited all my movement, so you will not be able to move or do anything. The only thing you can do is see.”)

“Damn you, human,” Lucifer shouted on top of his lungs.

Nazar closed his eyes.

Once he opened it, it was lit up with bright white energy.

Nazar flapped his wings and the barrier broke.

The Nameless One on looked surprised.

“What?”

“You created the whole ‘prison’ according to what I said.”

The Nameless One gave him a blank look.

“I know a backdoor to it.”

Massive energy beams shot out of his wings towards the Nameless One.

Nameless One dodged it without any effort.

“That was the plan, dumbass.”

Nazar shot all 6 wings this time. Every single feather in those wings turned into energy.

“I never used my wings… or powers like that,” Lucifer muttered.

A massive barrier appeared around the Nameless One.

Almost immediately, half of his power was gone. He was powering himself up using Nazars from across the multiverse, so all of that power went away.

Nazar entered that barrier too.

His whole body started to turn white with energy.

“Hey, what are you doing to my body?” Lucifer shouted.

Nazar did not pay any attention.

(Please work. Please work.) Nazar thought.

He blew up like a star. Nazar (or rather Lucifer) with Lucifer’s original power, plus the power of other angels and powers of a demon, blew up like a sun in point-blank range of the Nameless One.

While he was blowing up, he also weaponised the barrier. The barrier was constantly attacking the Nameless One with energy beams.

After a few minutes, both the Nameless One and Lucifer stood inside the barrier.

Nazar went back to his original body and Lucifer returned to his.

“He is all your now, Lucifer.”

Inside that barrier, Lucifer started beating down the Nameless One. The god also entered the barrier and started beating down on the Nameless One.

It went on and on and on. It went on for nearly an hour or so when the Nameless One started to turn into energy. He then blew up, not because he did it himself, but because he could no longer exist. He was a being made of energy, so he had wasted all of his energy in his fight against Lucifer and the god.

“Lucifer, don’t take down the barrier,” Nazar shouted out.

Lucifer used his telekinesis to pull Nazar closer.

“What?”

“That guy wants to take his residual energy. So, make the barrier as small as possible and contain all the energies in it. Then give it to that guy.”

“Not like I need it.”

He did as Nazar told him. The God of Power then left.

It was Lucifer and Nazar now.

“What did you to those children?”

“I returned them back to normal and then took them to their families.”

Nazar nodded.

“What was his first plan?”

“To make you trust me and then crush it. And then saving the children and betraying him came later on.”

“I see. Well, thank you--bwefgh?!”

Nazar was punched in the face by Lucifer. However, Lucifer was not using his powers to punch him because Nazar would have been dead by now.

“That’s for ruining my body. I had reserved all that energy and you unleashed it like it was nothing.”

“But you did get what you wanted, right?”

Lucifer punched Nazar once again.

“That’s for imprisoning me in your body.”

He then punched him again.

“And that’s for before.”

“Any more?”

“And thank you. If it was not for your little angel friend, I would not have gotten my original powers back.”

Nazar gave him a confused look.

“I made the angel bring up the Nameless One to Michael. Once Michael knew about it, it was easy to convince him and get his help to return my power.”

Lucifer then took a deep breath.

“You truly are an interesting being.”

“Anyway, can you send me back to my world?”

“No.”

“Why am I not surprised?”

Lucifer then vanished into thin air.

Nazar was left alone and then he smiled.

Someone appeared next to him. It was Aarin.

“Well, it is always good to know an angel--bwefgh?!?!”

She punched Nazar in the face.

“Where the hell have you been? And why did you appear as the freaking Lucifer? What the hell is going on?”

“Nice to see you again too.”

She then healed Nazar. Nazar had blood coming out of his nose.

“So, what happened?”

“When I swapped bodies with Lucifer, I knew that he would not help, so, I sent a telepathic message, telling you where to find me. And you are late.”

“I know that much. But what happened after that?”

“I will tell you about it later. I want to go home. I am tired and hungry.”

“Is that the only thing you think about?”

Nazar smiled.

“Pretty much.”

"So, what if I could not help you?"

"I would have been stuck here."

"Tch. You are useless without me."

And just like that, Nazar and Aarin vanished into thin air.
