Arc 34 - Lucifer

Planet Xiem - Vanaha Empire:

Nazar found himself in a dome-shaped room. There were two hibernation pods. One of them was holding the divine ruler of Vanaha Empire, Iket Xehz and the other was holding Aria, Nazar’s cousin.

Nazar and the woman who calls herself ‘Mother’ went to this place because they wanted to stop project Angel Fall. However, they are facing Iket’s son, Kiet Xehz, prince of Vanaha Empire.

Kiet’s entire body was surrounded by technorganic tech. It was an armour that increases his abilities significantly. As a member of the royal family, he has super strength, speed, psychic powers, omnilingualism, and so many more. These abilities have been increased by a huge amount thanks to the technorganic tech.

“I was preparing for you since we met, human.”

Kiet said as he rocketed towards Nazar.

The woman next to Nazar did not try to stop him.

Kiet rocketed towards Nazar, who was standing a few meters away from him.

He moved so fast that a normal human could not even see him, but Nazar saw him.

But even with increased speed, he was just a few thousand times faster than the speed of sound, unlike his father who can move faster than the speed of light.

“Speed?” Nazar said. “I really hate speed attacks.”

Nazar said that while grabbing Kiet by his neck.

However, the man in front of him just smiled.

“I knew you would do that.”

Before Nazar realised, he was punched in the face.

Nazar was thrown for a few meters.

Kiet cracked his neck and said, “You made a mistake coming to our battleship the other day.”

The prince closed the distance between himself and Nazar by moving very fast. As soon as he reached Nazar, he punched him in the face. He continued doing it without any breaks.

“When you came in, we already took control of your nanites and we copied all the data from your base on the moon.”

The man kicked Nazar in the stomach while he was still lying down. This sent him a few meters away and was only stopped by the super dense glass wall.

“I copied all the data and studied it. The data was pretty pointless, but I saw one thing that helped me a lot. There was a woman who said that you don’t know how to think.”

Kiet kept talking as he tried to close the distance between them, but Nazar stood up and said, “I don’t have cameras in there.”

Upon hearing that, Kiet stopped. He did not attack Nazar.

“However, nanites can store data within them and the data can be extracted from it.”

Nazar stood there without saying anything. He has made the tech because he had seen it in comics and he did not know much about it, to begin with.

“So, what did you learn about me?”

As Nazar and Kiet were talking, the woman did not do anything besides just standing around.

“‘You don’t know how to think.’ When I heard that, I thought it was the most stupid thing ever.” Kiet stopped and he smiled. “But I know what it means now.”

“And what does it mean?”

“Whatever you do, you don’t think about but instead you calculate it.”

Nazar was expecting an answer to what they both means, but he frowned upon hearing that.

“That makes even less sense than the time Aarin told me she thought of me as her son.”

“You are like a computer. You are inserted with these ideas from fictions and books and all you do it is calculate it in your own situation.”

“Stop with that bullshit.”

As Nazar said, he moved faster than he ever has and went behind his opponent. He threw a punch that will turn the man before him into mince.

But something happened. The man before him took the punch like it was nothing.

“As I said, I am prepared for you.”

Kiet looked back and smiled.

“It can reduce all damage to zero with a touch.”

Upon hearing that, Nazar looked surprised, but at the same time, he was kind of happy. He knew he could overcome this.

“This tech is also used in Angel Fall. Attacks from lower angels will have zero effects on it.”

A smile ripped Nazar’s face in half and said, “So, I can go all out on you, huh?”

And just like that, he started punching the man before him. With each punch, his strength increased.

Mars:

Back on Mars, the fallen angel Lucifer showed up.

“I heard you were looking for me,” Luciifer said as he walked out of the portal.

Aarin could not believe who was in front of her. Most people have not seen Lucifer for thousands of years, because they did not know where he was.

“Honestly, watching from behind the scenes gets boring over time.” A smile appeared on his face. “So, I am here for a little exercise.”

Upon seeing Lucifer talk and walk closely towards the artificial angel, the angel seemed a little surprised and happy at the same time.

“After so long...” The angel said. “After so long you finally returned. Did you come here to die?”

“Die?” Lucifer chuckled. “I am nigh-omnipotent.”

“So, am I.” Angel Fall said as it raised its right hand.

And just like that, a battle between two near-omnipotent beings started.

They moved so fast that Aarin was not even able to see what was going on.

Lucifer and Angel Fall had entered speed beyond light. In less than 1 second, they found themselves thousands and thousands of light years away.

Lucifer was taking the whole battle pretty lightly. He did not want to fight at his full power. If he did, the whole universe will tremble.

“I waited for this for thousands of years. To get revenge for my father, to kill a monster that threatens everything.”

Angel Fall shouted as they soared through the dark space.

Lucifer did nothing but smile.

They were currently fighting using energy beams. They were each thousand of miles apart and yet the distance did not matter to them.

Before they knew it, Lucifer and Angel Fall had destroyed planets while having fun.

Planet Xiem:

Nazar kept punching the man before him and the man before him took the hits like it was nothing.

With each punch, Nazar’s strength increased but it still counted uselessly.

Nazar stopped punching. He stopped attacking.

“I told you, every attack equals to zero as soon as it touches the tech.” Kiet paused. “This tech also predicts your every attack before you do it.”

Nazar moved back and attacked using energy. A psychic energy blast should help get the distance between them.

Nazar’s jaw dropped a little when he saw his attacks were doing nothing.

He tried using telekinesis, but that was useless as well.

“Oh, I forgot to tell you something. With every attack, my power level increases.”

Upon hearing that, Nazar stopped attacking.

“What are you going to do?”

(Damn it.)

Nazar tried technopathy, but all it did was hurt himself. When he used technopathy to try and control the tech, it backfired and instead his head hurts now.

“I could insert the technorganic tech inside you like the assassins did, but I want to beat you without the need for petty tricks.”

The man laughed and Nazar looked around. He did not know what to do.

He stopped attacking. He did not have much time. Aarin is in trouble.

(Oh, I need to tell her that she cannot destroy the Fallen Angel.)

Nazar closed his eyes.

(Large ra...)

His thoughts were cut off by Kiet who spoke.

“See? This is what I mean.”

“What are you saying?”

“You are trying to use a large range teleportation now, are you not?”

Nazar was not sure how the man knew that.

“I can calculate all your attacks. You are like a computer. You use predicted attacks.”

(...) Nazar’s eyes widened with surprise. (Precognition?)

Nazar let out a small laugh, which confused the other two people in the room.

“Seriously?” Nazar said. “You are using a basic power like that?”

“No. I am not using precognition.”

Upon hearing that, Nazar’s body stiffened and he remembered something.

(Oh, yeah. That’s right, I have precognition immunity.)

“You are wondering how am I doing this?”

Nazar just nodded.

“Well, you see this room...” the man said as he pointed around. “...it is made of technorganic tech that allows me to read your mind. This room was made to contain an artificial angel. You are nothing compared to it.”

“What?”

“This room reads your movements. It analyses what you think. It uses the energy flow in your body to analyse what kind of attack you will do.” The man paused. “Furthermore, it reads your mind like an open book. Everything you think of, I know about it a few seconds before that.”

Nazar smiled.

(Vector Manipulation should do the job.)

He tried manipulating the vectors around him, but the numbers changed immediately.

(Matter manipulation.)

He managed to manipulate the matter in his clothes for about 0.1 seconds before being unable to do so.

“Don’t try anything. We can stop any power from working.”

(Energy manipulation.)

He manipulated the electrical energy around him for only 0.02 seconds.

(Time interval: 0.01 seconds.) Nazar thought. (Need to act in 0.001.)

Upon thinking that, Kiet’s body stiffened.

“Wh-what are you trying to do?”

The proud prince became silent. He was confused.

“You are not...thinking anything,” Kiet said. “It’s completely blank. No numbers. No words. Nothing.”

(Increase speed limits.)

He felt the rise in his speed for a 0.03 seconds but it went back to what speed he was in. While he was talking to Kiet, his speed was barely above Mach 20, so when he felt the increase in speed, it went back to down to Mach 20.

(Time manipulation.)

(Stop.)

In less than 0.01, seconds, the time across the universe stopped. However, the machine blocked temporal energy which made Nazar extremely shocked.

“How…?”

The prince laughed upon hearing that.

“This place was built to withstand reality warping and time manipulations too.”

“I see...”

(What can I do against this person?)

In the outer reaches of space, the artificial angel is still trying to fight against Lucifer.

Lucifer does nothing but smile and dodges its attacks.

“Fight like a man, you bastard.” The artificial angel shouted on top of its lungs.

The angel was being controlled by Iket Xehz from the dome-shaped room on planet Xiem.

“Okay,” Lucifer said.

They hundreds of miles away from one another, but Lucifer removed the distance between them so fast that even the artificial angel could not see it.

“You want me to fight normally?”

Lucifer said that the artificial angel tried to increase the distance between them, but he stopped it in its tracks.

Lucifer held the artificial angel from its neck and placed a pressure on it. The artificial angel started to slowly crack.

“Why do you exist?”

“I created… this to kill you.” The artificial angel replied.

“Then why are you unable to do so?”

“There is interference in the control room of the angel. The connection is dying.” The artificial angel tried to make an excuse for its weakness.

Lucifer knew exactly what was going on. He knew exactly what is going to happen soon too.

While he was looking at everything in the universe, he saw that angel again.

“Who was that angel on Mars?”

The artificial angel showed a surprised face.

“She said her name was Aarin.”

“Hmm… never heard of her.”

“What is she doing here?”

“She is protecting the human boy.”

Lucifer was surprised to hear that.

“Human boy?”

Upon hearing that, the artificial angel laughed, like it was expecting this answer.

“Don’t you have nigh-omnipresence and omniscience?”

“I do.”

“Then how come you cannot see or know who this human boy is?”

“Which human boy are you talking about?” Lucifer started to lose patience.

With a smile on its face, the artificial angel said, “Do know what that blank is? I have it too.”

“Now that you mention it, there is a blank.”

“That is the human boy.” The angel paused. “I tried to look at him, but I could never see him with my lower level nigh-omnipresence. I could see him from other people’s perspective, but I could never see him with own power. You can never see him with higher level power.”

“...” Lucifer did not say anything. For the first time in his entire immortal life, he was surprised by humans. He could see everything, except for this human.

“It is true that I created this originally to fight against you, but now I couldn’t even care less about you. I wanted to kill that boy and everything will be fine.” The artificial angel paused. “I am very happy to see you here. I was not expecting you to show up or any other powerful angel.”

“By the way, I am not happy so I could test this new power on a powerful angel, but because I wanted their help.” The artificial angel added.

The artificial angel wanted to test that power on an angel but now he changed his objective.

“Help?”

“I could not do it under my own power, but if a powerful angel helped, we can trap him in another dimension until I find a way to kill him.”

“If we don’t kill him, he will destroy Earth and then you will kill of us.” The artificial angel added.

“Earth? I couldn’t care less about that planet anymore.”

Upon hearing Lucifer’s words, the artificial angel froze in shock.

“What? Then why did you come today?”

“Because you kept mentioning my name and wanted to fight me?” Lucifer paused. “Also, I wanted to see if you were actually capable of going against someone like me. If you could, I would have removed you from the equation. But your artificial angel proved useless.”

"Also, don't lie to me. I know exactly what you are thinking." Lucifer added.

Back on planet Xiem:

(I think I should go Super Saiyan again, huh?) Nazar thought.

Upon hearing that, the prince did not know what Nazar meant.

Nazar closed his eyes and unleashed all of his energies around him at once. He kept the energies closely around him because if he lets it go, then Aria might get injured and the equipment might get damaged. If it gets damaged, then he will be killing trillions of people.

(Huh?) Nazar smiled. (It can block only one form of energy at a time?)

Nazar laughed.

Kiet could not see much from all the different types of energies.

(Then I will use multiple energies at once.)

Nazar moved at speed faster than Mach 20 and at the same time used telekinesis, which made it hard for the room to get rid of two forms of energies at once. In fact, he theorised that the room might not be able to remove even one type of energy when multiple forms are used.

For example, if he uses psychic and kinetic energy at once, the room will not be able to remove any of it.

Nazar moved using his speed and at the same time use telekinesis for flight. He was flying towards his opponent at speed faster than Mach 20.

It took him less than a second to knock out his enemy without any problems but he was not unconscious.

Kiet got up after few seconds but laughed.

“That was good. I programmed the room to only get rid of only one form of energy. However, I was expecting your energy burst. It provided me with good enough data.”

Nazar frowned upon hearing that.

“Seriously?” Nazar said. “I feel like one of these days I will destroy the whole f**king universe.”

Kiet got ready to fight against Nazar, but the woman who calls herself Mother said something.

“A crack appeared in the artificial angel.”

With a surprised look, Kiet said, “What?”

He rushed over to the computer screen.

He tapped a few buttons on the holographic keyboard and he froze in his place.

“No… it can’t be...”

Nazar was confused as to what was happening.

“What is wrong?”

“Angel Fall was still not ready to fight against him. I… I did not tell father about this.”

“What’s happening?” Nazar raised his voice a little.

“We… we need to stop project Angel Fall.”

Kiet was starting to panic. However, the woman who calls herself Mother was calm as always.

“G-get that human girl out of there.”

“How am I supposed to do that?” Nazar paused for a little while. “Fine, I will try.”

“I could do it myself, but that will take longer and we do not have much longer.”

As Kiet starting working on stopping project Angel Fall, he started to panic.

Nazar went next to the pod that held Aria and he crouched down.

He closed his eyes and once he opened it after a few seconds, it will lit up with blue energy.

He entered Aria’s mind.

Once he entered her mind, it was nothing but darkness.

Nazar moved within this darkness in her mind and found a little bright light.

“Aria,” Nazar shouted in her mind.

He moved closer to the light that looked smaller than a dot on a piece of paper.

He moved faster and faster until he reached the place.

Once he reached the light, he found Aria who was looking through her memories.

Inside her consciousness, the pod was keeping her under control and was showing her the worst memories she had.

She was crying while looking through her bad life all over again.

The light around her was getting smaller and smaller.

“Aria,” Nazar said as he reached her.

If he does not take her out of here in time, Angel Fall won’t be stopped and it could lead to the destruction of Vanaha Empire.

“Aria,” Nazar said again.

Upon hearing that, Aria looked up with a teary expression.

“N-Nazar?” She said with trembling lips.

Inside her mind, the computer had created a false world where she only lives and sees her worst.

“Yes, it's me,” Nazar said.

He looked around and saw the worst of the worst. He saw her time in the experiment and her time after the experiment. He saw how she lost most of her life and how she was held against her will. He saw how she struggled in new life and turned back to her old life which caused her death once.

“You have lived through these once,” Nazar said as held out his hand. “I won’t let you grow through anything like thi...”

Nazar was unable to finish his sentence because he was pulled back from her mind.

“Sorry, but that might take longer,” Kiet said. “You need to go and stop the destruction of Angel Fall. Just buy me 5 minutes.”

“Wh..?”

“They are above Xiem and you can reach them in less than 0.0001 seconds if you increase your speed limits.” Kiet explained.

“Fine.”

Nazar stood up and closed his eyes.

(Increase speed limits. Enter light speed.)

“If you fly up straight from this room, you will see them.”

(I don’t have the numbers for teleporting. I need the coordinates.) Nazar sighed. (Well, then I just need to fly this time.)

Nazar crouched his right leg and built up speed.

(Instant acceleration should help.)

The dome-shaped room opened wide and the road was clear for Nazar.

Nazar looked up and defied gravity.

BOOM!

Upon his leaving, there was a massive sonic boom that should have destroyed everything around it, but he was dealing with technorganic tech that could nullify all damage to itself.

Nazar flew straight up and in less than 0.00001 seconds he saw an angel and someone else. Someone he did not recognise.

He flew up and saw that the artificial angel was starting to crack slowly.

The artificial angel was being held by the neck by Lucifer using his right hand.

He was flying towards them at a speed faster than light. Something he has never done, but he was able to control himself like it was nothing new.

Nazar reached his target and snatched the artificial angel from Lucifer.

Nazar stopped before going too far.

Lucifer was confused. For a being who could see everything, he did not see this coming.

He let the artificial angel fly by itself and he stood in front of the angel with a smile on his face, like he was protecting it.
