Arc 27.5 - Side-story (SS) #1: Professor Death

Streign is a small planet at the edge of Andromeda Galaxy. It has a population of 1 billion. This planet is divided into small empires. Each empire is made up of different social classes. Higher classes are those who have tremendous powers. The middle class are those who are not very powerful. And low class are those who have powers but are extremely weak. However, even if your only power is to have different colour skin, you will never be discriminated against.

The species on this planet are very short compared to humans. The average height in here is 1.50 CM. The skin of these people is mainly green. They all have 4 hands and 2 legs. Their eyes are very big and it sticks out of their faces. Their other features are similar to something like a frog. Essentially, these people are a combination of frog and man.

The people on this planet, each has superpowers. The last time someone did not possess superpowers was 200 years ago. However, after 200 years, someone without powers was born again.

In this world, being powerless is equal to being abnormal.

To the Bopa family, a young boy was born. They named him Eipt. Eipt was born just like any other child on the planet Streign.

When a child is born, they test them to see if they have powers… or in this case, if they are normal. To check for their powers, they study the DNA and it should contain a form of energy that allows them to have powers. However, this boy did not have that energy within him.

For a planet that only cares about strength, this boy did not even have the ability to have a different colour skin. The weakest person on this planet is a young boy whose only power is to have blue skin instead of green.

When Eipt was born, he was born into a middle-class empire. As soon as his parents found out that he did not have the specific energy, which they refer to as Divine Energy, they threw him away.

They literally picked up this newly born baby and threw him into a trash can behind the hospital.

The boy was taken in and thrown next to a mountain. In there, the boy raised himself. He ate whatever kind of trash was in front of him. He lived like this for 5 years.

One day, a woman whose power was telepathy, she was this trash place. She was the leader of a gang. The gangs are usually those who are rejected from the society because the way they use their powers. She was rejected because she used her powers to make her parents forget her mistakes. However, she told one of her friends, who later informed the authorities.

This boy, who has lived all his life only knowing trash cans, he found himself witnessing his first crime. He witnessed someone getting killed from a very long distance, but he witnessed it nonetheless.

Once he saw someone getting their head popped up, he screamed. Seeing blood for the first time, it made him feel uneasy.

The woman with telepathic abilities sent him a message, which made him fall down to the ground. While he was unconscious, she found out that this boy’s powers are not manifested. From there, she remembered the phenomenon that took place 5 years ago.

She took him in while he was unconscious.

The boy wakes up in a cell. A cell that has one massive metal door and no windows. A cell that has no bed or other facilities. Just a room covered in red. Blood.

The boy tried to scream but he could not. He tried to move but was too scared.

A few days later, the door finally opened. The same woman he saw a few days ago appeared before him. She was rather a beautiful woman. Once she entered, two other people followed.

These two people took him outside and into an arena. No matter how much the boy screamed or struggled, the two men were too powerful for him.

He found himself in the middle of hundreds and hundreds of people. The whole arena had been cheering for him.

In the middle of this arena was a small stage. He was forced on top of that stage.

The beautiful woman who helped him also stood on the stage and spoke into a microphone.

“” As she screamed into the microphone, her voice echoed through this arena. “”

As she said that, the whole places was turned into cheers.

The boy thought what they meant by ‘powerless’ and ‘Divine Energy’. The boy thought and thought but he did not know anything.

“” The woman screamed into the microphone. “” she paused. “”

The boy was confused as to what ‘torture’ meant and what was going to happen to him.

One minute later, the betting started.

“” a woman shouted.

“” another man shouted.

The numbers were slowly increasing.

“” a big man shouted. He was much taller than average people on this planet and he looks scary.

As he said that, everyone stopped speaking. This was a little too much for a night.

“” the beautiful woman shouted. “” She paused and cheerfully shouted. “”

She whispered something into the ears of her lackeys and another woman appeared. She was the healer.

In this arena, people come here and pay to torture people for entertainment. The other people watch but they do have to pay initial ticket fee in order to enter here. The woman in charge, she will not allow anyone to die and to make matters worse for the victims, there are healers who will heal you until morning. And the last injuries you take in the morning, you will have to endure it till next time.

The healer stood next to the boy, who was now in chains. The big man appeared before him.

As soon as he did, he punched the boy in the face, throwing him away. However, his chains did not allow him to be thrown outside the stage.

The man moved on and broke every single bone in his body. He ripped his flesh. He took out his eyeballs.

However, the boy did not die because he was healed right before his death.

He screamed and screamed but no one could hear him over the sounds of cheers.

This continued on for the whole night.

The boy was brought back to his cell. As soon as he was there, he laid down and ate something that did not look edible. It was put in front of him, so he has no choice.

He laid down and tried to sleep to forget, but he could not sleep.

The night came again and he was taken into the arena again. As this was the first powerless in hundreds of years, there was a higher demand for him.

For the next ten years, it continued on for every night. In the first 2 years, he did not want to be tortured. However, after that, he actually fell in love with torture. He could not wait to be tortured. Because he found something he never had. He found two friends in torture. It was friend pain and friend scream. The only way to meet his friends is to go through pain.

However, 2 years earlier, which is 8 years since it started, he completely became immune to pain. He wished much harder pain but he still did not meet friend pain or friend scream again.

After 10 years, people became bored with this boy. He would no longer scream even if the boy wanted to. He could no longer feel pain even if he wanted it to. So, the woman threw him away. However, before she did that, she gives him a present for making her one of the richest people on the planet. She gave him information about his parents and what they had done to him.

During these 10 years, he noticed something. His intelligence was beyond anyone. He had developed deadly weapons and poisons for his boss to use on him because he wanted to meet his friends again.

The boy was finally free, but he wanted to be tortured. He wanted to meet friend pain and friend scream again, but no one can help him meet his friends.

The boy wandered across the city he did not know existed. The city was beautiful but not as beautiful as blood or broken bones. He wandered and wandered until he finally found the place which the woman had given him.

He found the house. It was a luxurious house. It was massive. And from the outside looked like an event was being held.

He entered the place. His clothes were very old and dirty. He was dirty as well. He entered this place and looked around. There was delicious food, but not as delicious as flesh lying down on a bloodied floor.

The woman had given him an image of how his parents looked like and where to find them.

He finally saw his parents. He went closer to them, but he saw something else there. He saw a knife.

He picked up the knife and no one noticed him this whole time. These people were just too happy.

He held the knife in his hand and started killing everyone. Anyone who was in his way. The whole place went into disarray and people started moving outside. Only 5 people were left. His parents and his siblings. For some reason, they did not leave.

“” the boy spoke while licking the blood off the knife.

The woman knew her sins too well. She knew that she had given birth to an abomination and she could see it clearly in front of her. And also because her power was to see energies in everything. She could not see the Divine Energy in him.

“” she spoke.

“” The boy said as he stopped licking the knife.

He went closer to the other three people who were standing there. They were on their guard, but they did what the boy had predicted. They attacked.

For someone without power, he had something else that made up for his weakness. Unparalleled intelligence. Even the boy did not know about it, but he knew there was untapped potential in his mind.

His siblings used simple attacks on him. Punches and kicks. Something he has been more than used to.

He didn't even bother dodging them. He welcomed them. He was punched and kicked over and over again. Until he started to play on the offence.

He waited for his brother to kick and as soon as he did, he moved and placed the knife in his eyeball. He did that with a smile.

His other brother was thrown off as he tried to catch his sibling. He tried to help his brother, but he left himself absolutely defenceless. Eipt used that opportunity to stab the knife in his heart.

He then stabbed the knife in his sister’s skull. Even though the skull is very hard, he managed to break through it in a few tried.

Once his three siblings were dead, he looked at his parents. He threw the knife and hit his father in the leg. Then went closer and picked the knife again. He stabbed the knife in his mother’s leg too. Making them both immobile.

He went back to his siblings. He removed their eyeballs. He removed their skins. He broke their bones. And then broke them into pieces. Everyone was now small pieces.

He then lit up the fire and barbecued them. Every time the meat was cooked, he placed them on the table in front of his parents.

After an hour, he was done. He was done cooking his siblings.

He sat on top of the table and started eating the meat. He ate it while smiling.

His parents could not look. And also they were busy with their own injuries.

Once he was full, he forced the meat down on his parents’ throats, too.

“” The boy asked his parents after he had his dinner.

His parents were too scared to answer. So, he stabbed the knife in his father’s chest.

“” He asked again.

“” she said as she wept for her children and husband.

The boy smiled. He smiled and smiled. He then laughed and laughed. And all of a sudden, he started cutting his mother alive. He knew which parts to cut first so she won’t die quickly. He cut her up to a point where she was barely alive. He then burned her alive.

After he was done, he felt dissatisfied.

“” he muttered over and over again.

He then stayed in this house. He did not know why people were gathered in here but he did not care.

After a few days of being in this house, he had turned the household appliances and other things in the house to weapons. He created a biological weapon.

He unleashed the weapon to only target the ‘Divine Energy’. Anyone with the divine energy will die instantly when they inhale the gas.

The gas spread over this small planet in less than an hour. After an hour, he had killed 1 billion people. And all he felt was dissatisfaction.

He did it too fast, so he was unhappy.

After a few weeks, he managed to create a small spaceship. He left the planet and as soon as he did, the planet blew up. It was because he had left a bomb behind.

Ever since then, he is going across the galaxy the meet powerful people and to try and meet friend scream and friend pain again. In order to meet them, he has killed billions and returned even more.

Since then, he experimented on himself and made himself completely immortal. It is because he has sworn that he will travel the whole universe to meet his friends. And he will not be able to do it in one lifetime.

Unlike the other criminals, he was not caught. He came to this prison more than a thousand years ago because he heard rumours that this prison torture system is the worst. However, he was disappointed to find that the prison was now under siege by its prisoners.

He joined them and turned the prison into a deadly empire.

Right now, he goes across the universe trying to meet his only friends again, but no one has been able to help.
