Arc 11 - Aftermath of the Unholy War

Earth. A planet that holds more than 7 billion people. A planet that is mostly covered by water. A planet where people kill for stupid reasons. A planet where it’s people has been waging war against one another for centuries.

Since the dawn of humanity, the only thing we have known is war. Since the dawn of our time, we have only cared about one thing; ourselves.

A few thousand years ago a demon was banished from his kingdom to here. It took him thousands of years to create his new kingdom. He created his kingdom because us, humans gave him many opportunities. Us, humans who fought against one another gave him the opportunity to take control of us.

He controlled the world. He decided who was good and who was bad. He decided who lived and who died. He was doing all of this for more than 50 years and no one noticed. He was a king without anyone knowing.

He took control of the world by controlling its rulers and governing bodies. Anyone who joined him was turned into undead. People with no free will. People with no mind of their own. People with no soul. Their souls were replaced by a marble of nothingness.

And a few days ago, he gathered his minions, the leaders of the world and went to war. He took a fraction of his army and went to fight directly against a powerless angel in a celestial game and he bet Earth on it. If he had won, the Earth would have been his new domain. It was going to be the new hell. The remaining of his minions were sent to Earth to kill everyone in their path.

Before he left, he disassembled every peacekeeping force on the planet. Leaving humanity vulnerable. Leaving them without leaders. Leaving them without police. They were as good as dead.

But…

The demon forgot one thing; Earth has its protectors. It was just one last year. It was a man who couldn't care less about the life of people on Earth. He is so powerful that the loss of human life meant nothing to him. But when Earth was under siege, he was the first to come to humanity’s aid.

Just when he arrived at the scene, he was soon followed by other superhumans. Superhumans who never existed before. Superhumans who had amazing powers but some of them could barely use it.

Then was soon followed by a few magicians from Aarin group. They helped save the civilians and fight against the undead.

While Nazar and his new temporary allies were fighting against the undead, Aarin saw her friends being butchered by the undead army. They were too many and Aarin knew she would not stand a chance against him and his army.

When Aarin finally lost all hope, she was going to embrace her doom, but a miracle happened and Nazar showed up.

With the help of Nazar, she won the battle. She saved Earth from further doom.

However, Earth is now facing a different kind of doom.

The siege on Earth took place three days ago.

In the last three days, they have identified that at least a million people have died. And about 2 million other people were injured.

In the last three day, the world went into even further disarray. The crime rate has gone up higher than ever before. There is not government. There is no police. There is no longer a law. So, it cannot be really called a crime.

The strong are winning. They are using this opportunity to punish the weak. They are taking control of the little areas they can. They fight against other strong people.

Nazar and his new allies fought hard against the undead. Some of the superhumans were seriously injured too. What was the point? All they did was make more war. All they did was give humanity another chance to fight against itself.

Humans are fighting against one another. They are killing each other for no reason. It is something that only humans would do.

The whole world is ruined. Zerathos left this planet in a shape that it will never recover. No rules, no laws, no police and nothing else, the world is already worse than hell.

Someone needs to do something about this.

The Moon:

Nazar finally wakes up from his beauty sleep. After three days, his strength has finally returned. Once, he woke up he saw four familiar figures around the bed. His adoptive family and his only friend Emily.

They are all watching a news report.

“... so far the number of casualties is about 3 million in total. We still do not know what is happening. World leaders are missing and earlier on that day, every type of military and police forces were disbanded across the planet. Their weapons were left on the streets. What is the meaning of this, you ask? Well, here we have a former general from the NATO with us. Welcome, Mr Thomas.”

The reporter then proceeded to move the mic to the former general in NATO. As the mic was moving away from the reporter, the camera followed and then showed the face of the former general.

“Thank you for having me. I will get to the point of what happened on that day. Early in the morning of Monday, 24th of June 2019, every leader in the world ordered their armies to disband. We were asked to leave all kind of weapons behind and return back to our homes. There was no explanation given.”

As they were watching TV, they heard a familiar voice.

“Turn it off.”

Emma turned off the TV.

“Oh, you are finally awake,” Mary said.

They were all happy to see him awake but at the same time, a little worried.

“How long have I been sleeping for?”

Nazar asked as he was scratching his eyes.

“Uh, three days?” Emma said in an unsure tone. There is no day or night on the moon like it is on Earth. So, it’s hard to tell.

“Shit,” Nazar said this as he got up.

He was still wearing the same clothes as he was three days ago. The clothes got ripped a little on the day of the battle, but it repaired itself in a matter of seconds. It was a piece of technology Nazar has created that allows him to wear any kind of clothes he imagines. He always wears the same type of clothing though. His clothes always consist of black jeans, a black shirt and black trainers.

“Did Aarin come here?”

They all looked at each other in confusion.

"Who is Aarin?" Emma asked.

"A tall and beautiful woman with blonde hair and blue eyes."

“Ah. yes, she brought you here back. From wherever that place was.” Emily said. “Oh, and she left you a message, “Thank you. I cannot thank you face-to-face because I cannot exist in this dimensional plane of existence for much longer. But don’t worry, I will return one day and repay your debt.””

A smile appeared on his face and he said, “Ah, so she got her powers back. I wonder if the magicians know.”

As he said that, he left the room.

“Um… where are you going?” Emma asked with a puzzled expression.

“I am hungry,” Nazar replied.

As he left the room, in his hallway, there a vending type of machine that creates synthetic food.

Unknown location:

The rest of the world in disarray and some people are using that opportunity for their own good. Just like a new organisation that has recently started their operations. The organisation is called ‘Internal Order’. It is the organisation that now owns ANTF, ANT, NSE, and other organisations.

When Nazar raided some of these organisations, they were destroyed but someone has recently picked up the experiments. They succeeded in making new superhumans and now those superhumans are working for ANTF.

The headquarters of Internal Order is placed in an underground location. The location is classified.

The inside of the underground base is so big that it can fit thousands of people in it. It looks like an underground city.

There are massive vehicles here. Many people are working on the development of new technology and weapons.

Recently they stole data from Zerathos’ office in New York. Could it be they know that he is a demon?

Inside the underground city, there are many different facilities. Research facilities, weapons testing, living facilities.

In the middle of this enormous underground city, there is a huge building. This building is the most secure building in this underground city. This building controls everything in this city.

On the highest floor, there sits a man that is very tall and well built. He sits on a chair and instead of looking at the computer or paper on his massive desk, he is looking out the window.

His whole office is one big room that covers around hundred meters.

A young woman enters the room and says, “It’s time for your meeting, sir.”

As he heard that, without saying anything he got up. He walked out the door and the woman followed him.

He entered the elevator which is in the hallway of the entire floor. There are two doors in this hallway and one of them leads to his office and the other to the elevator.

He takes the elevator to the floor below. Once in the elevator, the woman pushed the button.

As soon as he leaves the elevator, he finds just one door in this hallway too.

The woman opens the door for him. Once he enters the room, it is a meeting room that can hold hundreds of superhumans.

Some of these so-called superhumans are acting very immaturely like they are children.

Some of them were floating. Some of them were chatting. Some of them were creating small portals and moving stuff in it for fun. Some of them sleeping.

As he walks in, everyone stops doing whatever they were doing.

“Our first mission was a success.” The big man in a suit said. He is about 180 CM tall and has black hair. His hair is pretty short too. His eyes were black. There is also a mark on his face. It looks like an animal has scratched his right cheek. “001, as a leader of the group, you made pretty good decisions.”

001, who was a man in his early 20s. He was about 175 CM and he had dark blonde hair. With grey eyes. He said, “Thank you, sir.”

“However, even if you were good, you still need to work on your skills. When Nazar asked for help, it took a long time to take control of your team. In that time, many people died and a few of us were injured. So, in the future remember to take control properly. Or else, I will appoint someone else.”

001 replied with, “Okay, sir.”

All the superhumans were wearing their uniforms that have the Internal Order logo on it. The logo three days ago was of ANTF but it is now changed.

“Now, your new mission. The world is in disarray. The government has crumbled down. Weapons of mass destruction are lying down on the floor. So, this is your new mission. You will go to each country, help with the recreation of the government, and earn their trust. Keep the weapons safe from the wrong hands. If someone asks what is Internal Order, tell them that it is a group of superheroes trying to bring peace to this land. Dismissed.”

As he said that, all the superhumans teleported out using various methods. Some used their powers while others used technology.

As they all left, a smile appeared on the big man’s face and he muttered, “The world will have a new leader.”

“Did you say something, sir?”

As he heard the voice, he realised that he was not alone. But he did not need to worry about that because he said it in a very low voice.

“Nothing.” He replied with this and left the room.
