Arc 10 - Unholy War - Part 7 - Finale
----------------------------------------------------
Battlefield 5:
While Nazar and his new friends were busy with the undead, Aarin was not just sitting here doing nothing.
She came here with more 1,400 other people and now she stands alone.
She saw her friends being ripped apart. Limb by limb. She saw their chest wide open.
While they were dying, they killed thousands of undead. Why? Because it was their mission to save the planet from the demon.
They were no lying on the floor. They could not breathe. They could not dream. Even if she wins, what’s the point?
Aarin stands in the middle of the arena. She is standing on top of her dead friends. She is surrounded by the undead. She is injured to the point where she can barely stand. If she did not have an angelic physiology, she would have been dead a long time ago.
The only thing between her and the undead is a small barrier she managed to put up.
The undead is crawling against it. They are punching it. They are throwing their magick at it. The barrier is still holding. But for how long?
(Nazar where the hell are you? If I lose the Earth is gone forever. Not even you can then save it from a fully powered demon. You pathetic human, where the hell are...?)
Her thoughts were interrupted when she heard Zerathos’ voice.
“Stand back. We can unleash a bigger attack like they did earlier.”
The undead followed his command. They moved back. The distance between Aarin and her enemies increased but the distance between her and her doom decreased.
If they unleash an attack, Aarin will be killed instantly. Even though she is an immortal, she can still die for a short while until she comes back alive. That’s how demons and angels work. Someone doesn't really die completely.
They held their hands in front of their chests. They moved them. Magic circle appeared. Once it did, all of their magic circles became one. They muttered and the magic circle started to light up. Unlike angelic magick which was green, demonic magick is red. The magic circles have different colours.
Aarin stands there in her own little prison. She welcomes her final doom. She has lost her friends. She has lost her new home. Everything is gone.
She chuckled and said, “It was fun while it lasted.”
That chuckle was removed as soon as she said that. Tears came pouring down from her eyes.
She held her hands out. She was not creating a magic circle. She just helps her hands out and welcomed her doom. The magic circle lit up. The attacks merged together. A massive light was heading towards Aarin.
She closed her eyes. She remembered everything that happened. All the good. All the bad.
The light came and hit her barrier. It cracked. It broke and she smiled. Her doom was here. Even if she gets resurrected again, it is pointless. Death is not easy.
Her battle lasted about 5 minutes in here but it was an hour in the human world.
----------------------------------------------------
Earth:
The magicians all teleports inside their mystery house with Nazar.
The person who was staying behind came running to them with tears in his eyes.
“They all died. She...she is next!” The person was crying.
They all looked at each other and Nazar just stood there confused.
“What is happening?”
Raj, a magician looked at him and said, “It’s a long story but can you save her?”
“...Maybe.”
As soon as he said that, a portal opened beneath him and he went through the portal.
If you are a normal human, you will not see anything in the portal. To you, it will only take a second and you will be in another location.
But for Nazar, he saw everything. He saw how teleportation really works. He saw how portals open and how they close. He found out how the rift works.
When a portal opens, the person goes to another dimension that is nothing but void. There is nothing there but if you were to slow down even further, you will see many ways out. This void is something like a gateway to other dimensions and realities.
He saw so many things that he should not have. But he ignored it. He could not focus. He saw things which could have been. Somethings that should not have happened. Things that might happen.
“FOCUS!” He shouted.
He saw it for a fraction of a second but Aarin is about to get hit by a massive energy bolt. If she gets hit, she will die. So, he prepares a telekinetic barrier.
After a long travel, he finally reached his destination.
----------------------------------------------------
Battlefield 5:
Aarin is welcoming her temporary death. She is welcoming the death of billions.
The magick attack from the undead and Zerathos cracks her barrier. The barrier cracks even further. Even further until there is nothing left.
The magick attack that is now pure red magical energy is going to hit her.
But..
A portal opens. The portal opens a little further away from Aarin.
The energy beam was now only 50 CM away from Aarin.
Nazar was 100 meters away from him.
(Instant Acceleration.) He thought about it and he accelerated. This power will allow him to move so fast without having to accelerate himself by stopping in one place or accelerating after running for a while.
He combines teleportation with instant acceleration.
40 CM.
50 Meters.
He runs. He speeds up.
30 CM.
He reaches Aarin. He places a barrier around her. He blocks the attack. The attack is coming from above. He places the telekinetic barrier around her.
The energy beam is moving faster than the hellfire that was shot by the demons.
Nazar is still standing outside the barrier. He held the telekinetic barrier around her and he saw her smiling.
The energy attack hit both Nazar and the barrier.
If Nazar let the pain take him over even for a second, Aarin will die.
He stands there. He takes half of the shot and he let the barrier take the rest of the shot.
The energy beam was so powerful that it cracked the ground under their feet. He was now a few CM lower in the ground. The barrier started to crack but he held it there.
After 10 seconds, when the dust settled down.
Nazar stood there with blood on his body. He nose was bleeding. His mouth was bloody. His hands were bloody. His clothing, even though it was made from special materials, they were ripped.
He stood there shirtless in the middle of an army. His shit reappeared again.
He looked back and saw Aarin slowly open her eyes.
Once she did, she saw a bloody Nazar standing in front of her smiling. He has become so much weaker since he used too much of his power on Earth and he also has not slept in more than a week.
She still had tears in her eyes but her smile changed from a smile of welcoming doom to a smile with hope.

She was happy that Nazar came but she was still puzzled as to why he took so long.
Nazar placed his hand on her shoulder and her injuries were repaired. Her rip clothes appeared around her but no the robes she was wearing, but a white dress.
Nazar looked around and saw the undead. It took him 1 second to calculate how many undead were left.
He looked back at Aarin and with a smile said, “Give me a minute. I will deal with this. But don’t worry, you will be the one to kill Zerathos. I will just weaken him.”
He stands in one place. A bubble appears around Aarin.
He speeds up while standing in one place. The ground beneath him broke. He just needs to take a step and in an instant, he will cover the 1 KM distance between him and his enemy.
“Zerathos now you...”
Before he finished his sentence. Before anyone heard the end of his warning. He moved in the middle of the sentence.
He moved just above Mach 50. He dogged all the undead. He has a special surprise for them.
Before anyone could hear the end of his sentence, Nazar appeared right in front of Zerathos.
A smile appeared on Nazar’s face.
It was so sinister that it sent shivers down the spine of Zerathos. In front of 160 CM Zerathos a 180 CM Nazar appeared.
With that smile, he looked down upon Zerathos.
Zerathos felt like a human who was going to be eaten by a Titan.
With the sinister smile that was ever growing on his face, Nazar said: “DIE!”
As soon as he said that, Zerathos felt pain. He fell on the floor. He looked around and saw his legs. He tried to reach for it, but his hands were gone too.
“Arghhh”
He let out a shout so loud that it could be heard by everyone.
And just like that in an instant, Nazar was back in his rightful place.
He looked back at Zerathos who was now in an energy bubble.
“He is healing himself,” Aarin informed Nazar.
But Nazar just smiled and looked at the undead in front of him.
The undead run forward towards Nazar. The undead prepare their magick attacks against him.
He stands there and creates an energy bolt in his hand. He created it. Unlike last time, the targeting should not be a problem. By his energy bolt that can destroy any undead it touches because it will only explode when it touches the void. That specific void where nothing exists.
He releases the energy bolt by slamming it on the ground.
He moves. He moves so fast, that he can no longer hear the angels and demons cheering for the new player. He no longer hears the sound of Zerathos’ cries. He no longer hears the muttering of a demon. He no longer hears the trembling of Bur’goth.
As soon as the energy reaches the undead, he sees them disintegrate into nothingness.
He moves. He increases his speed. He collects and destroys every marble he finds.
He destroys 1, then 2, then 10, then 100, then the 1,000, and then the rest.
Around 2,000 undead vanishes into nothingness in less than a second.
The people in the arena and the audience hear a sonic boom. A sonic boom and nothing else.
Their cheering stops when they find that none of the undead is standing. It was only for a fraction of a second.
Their cheerful eyes widen. Their large cheerful mouths close. Their wings clench. They start to tremble. The arena was nothing but silence now.
Some angels were extremely fast. Some demons were extremely fast. But they did not see a thing. They just heard a sonic boom and nothing else.
Three people were now standing in the arena. Aarin, Nazar and Zerathos.
“Aarin, he is all yours. I am so done. I don’t think I can go for much longer.”
With a smile, he just let himself fall to the floor. He was now lying down on the floor. He promised Aarin that she will be the one who kills Zerathos.
Aarin moves towards Zerathos who is still healing his
His healing magick was not very effective.
Aarin was still walking when she heard Nazar’s voice.
“What were doing to Earth?”
Aarin was surprised to hear that.
“I, Zerathos, was going to keep you busy while destroying the world then making it my domain. But for some reason, my plan failed. How?”
“Because you are dealing WITH ME.” Nazar went from a calm tone to shouting during his sentence.
Zerathos let out a chuckle and said, “Arrogant as ever. That will be your downfall.”
“Oh, I know. I know this very well. It will be my downfall, and it has already been. But against you, it will always bring me victory.” After he said that, he closed his eyes.
Aarin thought so many bad things about Nazar but she never expected that he would be held back by something like this.
She created a massive magic circle. The circle lit up much faster than previous magic circles.
She unleashed the attack with fury.
The energy beam hit the barrier around Zerathos. As he was weak from the injuries caused by Nazar, his barrier was weaker and it cracked easily. He vanished as Aarin’s attack hit him.
Zerathos was dead. Temporarily.
After Zerathos’ body vanished, Aarin rushed towards Nazar who was lying on the ground.
“Are you okay?”
“Of course. It is I, Nazar. But I don’t think I will be able to go back by myself.”
“Don’t worry. I will take you back.”
As she said that, she picked up Nazar in her arms. This time he was about to close his eyes but instead, he just collapsed.
Ar'okoth and Anaiel both stood in front of everyone.
“The winner is Aarin.” Ar’okoth said in a tone that showed he was angry.
Anaiel, on the other hand, was happy.
She was the representative of the angels, so she had the authority at the moment that allowed her to return Aarin’s powers.
With a magic spell, Aarin felt her powers return to her. She was as powerful as before. When her power returned to her, she gave off a radiant light that was so bright it would turn any human blind.
Anaiel came close to her friend and said, “Well Done. By the way, who is this man?”
She looked down at him and said, “A friend. I need to take him back.”
“Do you need help?” Anaiel asked Aarin.
“No.”
With that, Aarin teleported out. It was not a portal but teleportation power. She has not used it for thousands of years, but for an immortal who has probably lived longer than millions of years, a few thousand years was nothing. She knew how to use her abilities as she never lost it.
----------------------------------------------------
The Moon:
Emily, Emma, John, and Mary were all standing. Nazar has been gone for hours and he has not returned yet.
They could see that the battle was over. TV channels over the world were reporting on it.
“We don’t know how many casualties there are but the number is pretty high. If it was not for Nazar and the new superhuman, who appeared out of nowhere, we don’t know what could have happened. We all could have been dead by now. So, Thank you. On another note, people are showing their concern regarding the mysterious disappearance of world military and other policing forces.”
While they were watching the news report, Aarin appeared behind them. She had a collapsed Nazar in her hands.
All four of them looked at her. They were surprised to see her again.
They looked at the woman who was too bright to look at properly. She was radiant. And she had wings. White wings that were as large as 2 meters.
“Is...is he okay?” Emma asked.
“Yes, he will be. He is just tired.” As Aarin said that, she took him to the room that was still not damaged and placed him on the bed.
Aarin then looked at them and said, “When he wakes up tell him this; “Thank you. I cannot thank you face-to-face because I cannot exist in this dimensional plane of existence for much longer. But don’t worry, I will return one day and repay your debt." Goodbye.”
As she said that, she vanished.
All four of them stood next to the bed where Nazar was lying on.
