Arc 8 - Prelude to Unholy War - Part 4 - Finale
----------------------------------------------------
4th Dimensional Plane of existence:
Three days after his meeting with Zerathos, Bur’goth appears before the council of demons.
Zerathos earlier had told him his plan and he repeated the plan to the council.
A member of the council, Ar'okoth who is a crimson demon as well, said, “We have no desire to bring that pathetic demon back. We are immortal and we have seen many demons and angels fight, but this will be the first time to see a powerless demon battle a powerless angel with nothing but they weak human army.”
The council of the demons is made of 12 different demons. They are head of their own clan.
Some demons are red. The same colour as Bur’goth and Zerathos.
Some are grey, black, white, etc.
They all seem to communicate using telepathy because when Bur’goth told them about the plan, they just looked at one another and spaced out for a minute then they told their decision to Bur’goth and the rest of their clans.
“Zerathos will not be using all of his armies against the angel. He said that he will need your help and the help of some artefacts to transfer all of his armies to someplace else.”
The demons looked at one another.
Then the crimson demon, Ar'okoth, said to Bur’goth, “We know you have been sending the artefacts to him. We ask you, how did you communicate before?”
Bur’goth was scared but he was not surprised.
“It was one-way communication. He would send a message across with his minions.”
For a man, who is scared and is standing in front of powerful demons, he said this in a rather calm tone.
----------------------------------------------------
The Moon:
It has been 10 days since he started working on developing new technology that will help him identify rifts across the planet.
He has finished that project.
He also finished his other projects too. Another project that he finished was improving his warsuits and robots. He combined them both together to make them much more powerful.
He knows that he needs to fight against Zerathos to save Earth. He doesn't know why a being like Zerathos would take over the world and not destroy it.

“What is his plan?” Nazar asked over and over again.
Of course, there is no one there to answer his questions.
Even though he now has Aarin’s memories, she knows how Zerathos operates, but he cannot think of what his plan is.
----------------------------------------------------
Sahara desert:
The mystery house of Aarin is now in the Sahara desert. This house moves around the planet and keeps itself hidden from the eyes of demons and humans.
Aarin walks into the house and ask, “has anyone heard from Nazar?”
“No,” a member of her group replied.
Aarin is worried. She gave him her memories because she wanted someone else to look through these memories and maybe find a way to defeat Zerathos and his minions.
Even though Aarin does not want this war, she needs to be ready for it.
She has a feeling that Zerathos will use the ‘game’ to distract her.
----------------------------------------------------
A portal opens in New York again.
Zerathos is surprised to see a rift being opened.
He knows the portal is opened using demonic powers but he never though Bur’goth will come.
He was sure that the council of demons will have him slain.
Bur’goth walks in and with a smile on his face tells Zerathos, “They accepted your proposal.”
Zerathos was surprised and happy.
Why would the council of demons accept such as stupid offer? And why they help him in any way?
Bur’goth said, “Let’s go now. The match will begin soon. Even if that pathetic angel does not show up, you will still be forgiven.”
They started to walk through the portal but Bur’goth stopped.
“What? Why did you stop?” Zerathos asked immediately.
“Unlike the last time, you are allowed to take your minions this time.”
Zerathos smiled and asked, “How many?”
Bur’goth thought for a second then continued to say, “you can have up to 10,000 minions helping you.”
Zerathos let out a laugh. He knew he was going to win.
Zerathos looked at Bur’goth and said, “commence the plan.”
----------------------------------------------------
A portal opens in the mystery house of Aarin in Sahara desert.
At first, she thought it was Nazar, but he cannot teleport in here.
She made herself ready to battle when she noticed it was a portal opened using angelic powers.

She was surprised but still hostile towards the coming being.
A woman in a white dress walks in. She has black eyes. Black hair. The hair is so long that it touches her waist.
The woman smiles and says, “It’s been a long time, old friend.”
Aarin stands there frozen in one place.
She stands before her friend that she has not seen in thousands of years.
A tear comes from Aarin’s and Anaiel’s eyes and they both hugs each other.
“Anaiel, what are you doing here?”
“Come back with me,” said Anaiel.
Aarin was surprised to hear that. She thought about what could she mean.
“Huh? What are you talking about? I am exile...”
Before Aarin could finish her sentence, Anaiel interrupted her.
With a hopeful smile on Anaiel face, she said, “this is your only chance to become what you really are. An angel again.”
Aarin could not believe her ears and eyes.
Was that really her old friend? Was she telling the truth?
“How...?”
Aarin said just one word but Anaiel knew the answer to the question that is not even asked yet.
“Zerathos wants a rematch and if he loses you will get your powers back. Unlike the last time, you are allowed to have your minions with you.”
While Anaiel said that, Aarin was not happy with some of the things she said.
She was not happy that Zerathos wanted a rematch.
She was not happy that Anaiel referred to her friends as ‘minions’.
“They are my friends, not minions,” said Aarin with an angry tone.
Anaiel looked at her in disbelief. She thought: is this the same Aarin I remember?
“My, my. You have changed a lot, have you not?” Anaiel then looked at Aarin’s new friends placed both her hand on her chest said, “I apologise if I offended you.”
Aarin was still angry with her old friend.
Aarin was similar back in the day, but now that she has changed, so she finds Anaiel a little weird.
“How many of my friends can I take with me?”
Anaiel said, “I think up to 10,000.”
Aarin looked around and she knew that she only has about 1,500.
She said to her friends, “All of you come with me.”
They looked happy when she said that and nodded.
She then tried to telepathically communicate with Nazar, but there was no response.
She looked at her friends and said, “10 of you stay in here. I want one of you to bring in Nazar to the battlefield and the rest of you stay here just in case.”
She chooses who should stay and who should go with her.
They all entered the portal.
----------------------------------------------------
The moon:
Nazar turned off all of his computers and placed all form of barriers in his mind.
He did not want to be disturbed during his lunch.
He was eating chicken wings again.
----------------------------------------------------
Battlefield 5:
When demons and angels fight, they choose a battlefield that matches the number of people in the arena.
Battlefield 1 is a for a small number of people. This was the battlefield where Aarin and Zerathos first fought.
The size of the battlefield also reflects on how many people will be watching this.
So, Battlefield 1 is the smallest and Battlefield 5 is the largest.
Zerathos and Aarin with their armies showed up.
They looked around and it was Battlefield 5.
There were thousands of angels and demons watching their fight.
Why? Just because there has not been a single fight in a few centuries.
Zerathos showed up with 10,000 of his minions.
Aarin showed up with 1,490 of her friends.
----------------------------------------------------
Earth:
A massive portal opened in London.
Another opened in New York.
Another in Tokyo.
Another in Washington, D.C.
And many more opened in most populated cities across Earth.
From each portal, a zombie-like creatures came out.
They were fast, agile and much more acrobatic for zombies. Though no one has ever seen a real life zombie, so it's kind of hard to say if they are like this in real life too.
They could also use magick.
They started their attack on the populated cities.

Many Minded
Synopsis: Issa Pyxis, Spacer orphan and illegal heretic, graduated from living on the streets to running with a gang years ago, but now it looks like that’s all going to change. Her inheritance, more specifically who—or what—she is, is catching up with her, and on a planet with the Emperor’s inquisitors slinking around in every shadow, nowhere is safe and no one can be trusted. What will she do? A cyberpunk story about identity, loneliness, covert infiltration, evil dystopias, and much more! Features: - Cyborgs and cyberpunk galore - This is indented to be somewhat “rational” and “hard” Sci-Fi story - Original Fiction however parts of my worldbuilding are inspired by other Sci-Fi stories (duh) Rationale: The future is cool, AIs are kickass, and questions about consciousness are simultaneously existential and yet unanswered. To me, this story is a vehicle for exploring these topics, and also, I wanted to write a story where the protagonist was unafraid of themselves and where their self is more like a git-repo than a meat computer. Disclaimer: This story primarily takes place in what we’d describe as a “cyberpunk dystopia” with some extra technocracy, autocracy, and religious fervor thrown into the mix, so there will be some “grittiness” in this story. Caveat emptor. Also, [insert your favorite boilerplate “views expressed” disclaimer here]. I shouldn’t need to say this, but the main character and other characters in my story can be wrong on occasion (gasp!) and the way they view the world isn’t always objective truth (if such a thing even exists) nor do their views and opinions necessarily reflect the views of me, the author.
