Volume 1:

Arc 1 - Origin - Part 1

My name is Nazar and I am a student in one of the colleges in London, United Kingdom. I am the kind of person that avoids people at any costs just because I cannot stand them. I hate groups even more. From the start of my school life, I always isolated myself from everyone and never bothered talking to anyone. It was not because I was shy or had anxiety, it was because I just did not like the idea of communicating with other people. I would never look people in the eyes and tried to not even look at their faces. Looking down was how I survived in public so far. I spend my entire life doing nothing but reading and watching. I have been reading comics, manga, books and watching anime for as long as I can remember. Doing these things actually made me feel alive and doing anything else felt like torture to me.

Years after years passed and the only thing I have been doing is reading and watching. I tried getting into gaming but did not really stick to it. Mainly because playing online games meant dealing with annoying gamers.

When my primary school was finished, I went to a secondary school that was very far away from my primary school because I did not want to see anyone from my primary school there. I just hated everything about it.

Despite being a lazy person who never studied, I always got the highest marks in class when it came to tests. The reason was not that I had genius level intellect, but because I had something that it was described as “photographic memory”. This meant that I will never forget anything. For example, if I ever saw a maths formula, I would never forget it. I still remember everything.

The first few months of secondary school went the same as my primary school. I never talked to anyone, even though some of them wanted to talk to me. I would always bury myself in books, manga, comics and anime so I don’t have to deal with these pathetic creatures. One day, however, this girl started to talk to me. I tried everything I could to not talk back but she would not let go.

“I remember you from primary school,” she said

“Damn it!” I replied.

“...” she did not say a thing but I could tell she wanted to ask what I meant by it.

“I just don’t want friends and I hate everyone in here,” I said to her. “So, please just leave me alone!”

She left and I was happy again.
