《The life of an arrow that turned into a boy》chapter 5 the arrows meh upgrades before the testing

There were roughly about 300 kingdoms participating in the eastern school administration that has been given an invitation.
Wortio and his disciples that were at the test by now from the teleportation portal, looked at the details of the test and read out:
Wortio shook his head, bored at the extremely simple idea of testing that the eastern school has given them, ‘this’ll be over in a blink he thought as he headed over to the place that was given to his kingdom to live for the next 9 days while the testing goes on
Serena reported to him when he got back:
“Wortio-sama, the schedule that we have gotten says that we are organised to do the testings 3 days later doing one course each day for the middle three days of the nine, the students of the long horned bull sect are anxious about how they will pass the test so may I ask you to give a speech so that they can calm down? I am fairly sure that if it is Wortio-sama they won’t feel as pressured as before anymore.”
And wortio replied in a carefree tone:
“Tell them that I believe in them and you, we are the strongest group here anyways, I already checked all the strength of the other kingdoms and their strength can all barely average common level 2 at best, eastern was probably just lying about averaging level 3~!”
By the time that wortio finished speaking Serena has already dashed out of the room muttering: “Wortio-sama believes me; Wortio-sama believes me! Kya~!” with a huge blush and went to report to the other disciples
Bored, Wortio went out onto the street and looked around at the stalls and entered a weapon stall to look around.
In the stall he saw various shiny pieces of armour as his eyes locked onto a large ingot, about the size of a large watermelon and had tiny dots that shined red scattered across the whole ingot and marked with- fire dust ingot-36 uncommon magic coins
He asked the owner how much of this ingot there was as the owner gave him the answer of 7, he bought all of them as he slammed a single rare magic coin down and bought everything that he found interesting in the store
In the pile of interesting things, he bought, there was a large arrow called water string arrow that produces a string of water tied onto the opponent to act as a tracking device so the arrow will always hit.
He placed the arrow in his soul space and thought of awakening it after a year in eastern school if he found the school to be appropriate, next thing that he did straight after was to use the fire dust ingot to craft a spirit with solid materials to make it so that the spirit can be made without wasting as much of his soul. (it still tires him out when he uses too much even if it is infinite as his body is weak, which he plans on fixing in the future)

He chanted out some magic words out and the fire dust ingots (all 7) slowly decreased in size until they reached the size of an apple each as a pile of very shiny red dust, Wortio slowly added in the condensed liquid form soul of the infinite soul forms into the dust swirling in the air as it slowly became a shiny red blob of goo.
The goo was then shaped into the shape of a glove a little too big for wortio who decreased the size slowly to fit his hand, the left over goo was then mixed into the iron that the fire dust was taken out of.
The iron started to glow again as Wortio squeezed all of the iron together really tightly which eventually got smaller and smaller, the metal was being condensed as they were shaped into a wrist band with a pad growing out of the top placed onto the glove which was by now on top of wortio’s hand.
Wortio then took out several other ingredients he bought from the store and mixed all of them into the glove, creating a leathery texture and graceful pattern to form.
That was when wortio suddenly thought of something that was probably not humanly possible and continued by taking the water line arrow out and mixing the soul of the waterline arrow onto the fire element glove which then glowed a bright blue with a new arrow imprint on top of the glove.
Wortio stared at the completed item and nodded his head.
Liquid fire line arrow glove
Rank: human level 21
Element: water plus fire
Effects and description: this glove has used all of the ingredients that the creator had and created the best ranked possible glove with 28 unranked materials and 2 common level 1 materials that are all said to be trash and unusable, the glove can be used for unawakened children under 10 years old and replace their spirit.
It was created by a spirit maker that practices the use of his soul, spirit makers don’t exist on this continent anymore and are also extremely rare and respected by those on the main continent. All spirit makers have a soul space, and it is said that every-time a spirit maker levels up their soul 25 times, they can make a new spirit for themselves
The maker of this glove can be counted as a god ranked spirit maker that does not even exist anywhere on the planet as the rank far exceeds the rank of the world.
This glove can increase a human-level twenty-one’s strength to human-level 24 and shoot out a boiling hot water arrow that can assassinate a human-level 25, the so called triple skip spirit that could only be made by spirit makers in seraph rank and you can even see that the maker only used less power and skill than we can count with decimals!

“It is alright I guess, for using only a millisecond it is meh! And the fact that I used ingredients that weren’t meant to go together made it hard and impossible so that only seraph levels can barely make it huh? Blah-blah-blah...” … yes, it only took him a millisecond to make the glove.
As wortio muttered to himself he also put the glove into his soul space and awakened it which caused a small unnoticeable spatial rip in front of him that closed before it could do anything as wortio’s soul power prevented the change to do anything.
He didn’t want the same thing as last time to happen where he nearly exposed himself to the world and barely stopped the strong people from finding him by hiding his presence after the change got out of hand.
He walked out of his room straight into the sect conference room of the mansion the kingdom was given, He lived in the most advanced and comfortable room while the sect conference used the second most.
“hello my disciples, why is there a meeting going on?” Wortio asked as he walked into the room “Wortio-sama, we have the testing tomorrow so we are discussing how we are going to act on the day, care to sit on my lap, Wortio sama?” Calvin replied almost immediately as if he was expecting the question the whole time.
“hmm~ sure, why not.” Wortio unexpectedly went on Calvin’s lap thinking, ‘there is no chair here for me anyway’… (arrows have low E.Q) Calvin flabbergasted that Wortio actually agreed watched as wortio sat down on his lap.
“so, continue the conference~” Wortio said to the disciples in the room, as he played with the snowflake necklace on Calvin’s neck and leaning onto Calvin’s sturdy chest mean whilst the other disciples stared in jealousy…
Most of the tables and chairs had been crushed with hand prints on them by the end of the conference, Calvin went to sleep without a bath or a shower and probably had the best dream in his whole life.
In a corner Eugene was biting into his nails while thinking what rights does that damn brat wortio have to sit on master disciple Calvin and play with the beloved snowflake necklace that master Calvin treated with more importance than his life, he also thought about how Wortio took his spot in the conference, how he is amazing blah-blah-blah-blah
It seemed that the I.Q of Eugene was non-existent…
And unknowingly Eugene has forgotten that he was the weakest in the whole long horned bull sect, without any right to say anything to Calvin or go a 30 metres radius to any inner disciple and 100 to the nine great ones… he also unknowingly got on bad terms with a human level 21 cultivator (this last sentence was the important part!) …
The day of the test:
“Okay let’s head to the talent testing shall we?” Wortio whispered to the nervous disciples behind him as he led the way to the talent testing.
“COMMON LEVEL 3 WITH A COMMON LEVEL 3 DIVINE BODY! This is probably the best results we will get throughout the whole test right?” a loud shocked shout came from in front of the talent testing area where a large stone showed:
Name: orca Lew
Age: 16
Common level 3
Divine body, common level 3 fire pike body
Spirit: fire pike
Talent: U13/uncommon 13
There was a young boy with blonde hair and green eyes that stared onto the stone and stared over at Wortio.
Wortio at that moment curiously asked: “how does that stone work, and What is a divine body?” which Serena answered before Calvin:
“Wortio-sama, that stone shows the data of the cultivator’s strength of about how much they want to show up to their actual cultivation, and a divine body is when a person can turn a part of their body into a spirit through something called a meridian, the divine body gets a huge boost in power of some sort”
Wortio listened and the thought to himself: ‘so if I put half of my spirit’s soul into my meridian I get a divine body? Souls don’t take up any space so I can probably have infinite divine bodies eh~…’
Wortio took half of his fire crystal’s soul and put it in a new finger meridian he created just then and found out that he got a divine body…
“Meh~” he thought just like before, God knows how his ‘Meh~’ upgrades can take him as what he has done now is ridiculous… completely overpowering most of the people on the continent on his whims…
“meh” Wortio worked out the meaning of the divine bodies as the idiot with no I.Q Eugene jumped on stage…
you know... ummm... I tried~? please don't hate me if you find it so slow paced it is annoying... I'll get better I hope.

His eyes had turned bloodshot and his hands shook with rage. “The first thirty…” “Shut up!” Genzo bellowed “How dare you help these disrespectful gaijin?” Flecks of spit and madness flew from his face, his fist raised ready to strike. But Emi did not flinch, instead she was about ready to continue when Yuma Takeuchi interrupted her. “Uchida, please,” her sweet sounding words could melt ice. “I think we will have a better chance of getting home if we all work together.” When she glanced up with her sleepy looking eyes at Genzo Uchida he deflated visibly. “Were not getting home.” Uchida said coolly. “Group summoning, large, that puts us in the 60 series. No one came to greet us after five minutes of arrival. That leaves scenarios 68 and 69. In scenario 68 there is something that binds the large group together; they are all classmates or a single family. But thanks to the gaijin” he spit out the word “I think we are scenario 69 with no way home.” Ikko Inoue’s eyes went wide, while Katsukno and Hayata started muttering to themselves. Tim took on a serious look and rubbed his scruffy chin. Emi maintained her stoic expression while trying to find something to refute. McKenzie glanced at Randall and giggled. Randall took the prompting of his teammate and followed up by approaching Genzo. “Uh, so we are in a sixty-nine?” “Yes.” Replied Genzo with the seriousness of someone who’s life was about to end. McKenzie covered her mouth and snickered. “You and me, were stuck in a sixty-nine situation?” Randall pushed with a grin. “Yes, we are all stuck in a sixty-nine scenario together!” Genzo retorted in anger. McKenzie fell on her butt laughing. “What the hell is so funny?” Demanded Genzo, whose face had turned red. “It’s a problem with the automatic translation.” Retorted Tim. Randall, who seemed unable to quit started in again “So, about this sixty-ni…” Genzo interrupted Randall with a swift punch to the face. But, because of their height difference it was a bit of an uppercut that left Randall rattled. Tim and Ikko moved to step in between the two, but Genzo showed no further hostility. Instead he just stared at his clenched fist with such intensity it grabbed the attention of the room. “I unlocked a skill.” He said bluntly. ***************************** This is not a light novel, but people who like light novels should enjoy the themes of this book. ***************************** A Map of the Region

After All
This is not my story. My story was of a world I forged by my raw will, and of you, my children, forged of my dreams. That story has long since ended. Our world was not alone. Another deity came from beyond my sight, and despite our resistance rent our world asunder. In the end, all was lost and you were gone. That I survived your passing is a testament to the cruelty of existence; I cannot forgive existence for the monstrous crime of making me go on without you. This is the story of a new world, forged by the hands of fools. That it is made from the bones of that which I most hated will bring this place no absolution. In the fullness of time, I will seize the reins of this new narrative, and I shall end it. You are lost to me, my children. I will make a funeral pyre of all reality for you, and be with you in oblivion after all. --- DocSumac here. This is a story that has been rattling around in my head for years. It's not complete, but I'm not going to let it haunt me anymore. I'm uploading what is ready, and I'll add more as I can. --- Addendum May 20, 2020: I've added the Sex tag. Not because of actual smut, but becuase of what will probably devolve into an ongoing parade of dick jokes. No point denying my nature.
