《RE:tombdungeon》6 gaining and losing levels

Chapter 6
As I wait for my servants to come back, I quickly make a new dry toilet for the smithy, somehow, I don’t get any option if I want to save the construction plan, maybe because I didn’t used the exact same length?
Doesn’t matter, I make a few fields so they can grow their own food. Children should make the experience to plant something by themself and learn one thing or another while caring for the plants, and no I’m not caring, my servants to be should just be a bit educated....
The group arrived, they use the last sunlight to quickly come over, and with my seven servants the blacksmith and his children 3 other guys appeared, who might they be?
The blacksmith and his children, who like every other person here aren’t looking completely healthy, begin to unload the cart, while my servants kneel before me and the 3 new ones don’t really know what to do…
“My lord, as you have ordered, we helped bringing the furniture, and we also have 3 new recruits for you, like all of us, they have lost their family and now they want to help making the city a better place for the future generations.” Gerad speaks, so that’s why there are some new people who are not dead, I see.
The 3 new guys kneel in front of me, and speak in unison: “we swear allegiance to you the dungeon of the tomb, may you guide us to rebuild our city.”
Because you have 10 servants you are able to gain experience, and level up when you got enough.
You can earn experience through helping those around you who are in need, or befriending those who would normally attack you.
So I can level up? means I become stronger? thats awesome, maybe I can get a bigger mana pool…
After a few seconds of dreaming I realize another message
Due to you helping other people and building them a shelter, you gain enough experience to level up to Level 3
Ohh, so I have actually leveled up, let’s see “Status”
Dungeon Core of the stupid Goddess
Health10Mana20
show skills
available skill points2
So no new mana? I tried to get some more information on these ‘available skill points’ and
skill points can be used to upgrade an existing skill, which makes the skill much stronger
if you want to use a skill point, simple select the skill and think “skill level up”
okay, so “show skills”
Skills
summoningLevel 1
expand territoryLevel 1
make treasureLevel 1
buildingLevel 1
AppraisalLevel 1
to see the description of a skill or any sub skills, simply think “open ” and you will see all information regarding the skill
I think the “make treasure” skill and the “building” are really important at the moment, so I upgrade these two, takes 1 point each, logically. But something bugs me, why didn’t I get a bit stronger?
Like getting more mana or more health? I should become stronger with this level up, right? Let’s see, I could select some things and got info, maybe that's the same with mana? I gonna try it, “mana ?!”
Mana, the magic energy that is in every being, with this you are able to cast spells or make some really cool stuff
due to your allegiance to the stupid goddess, and for only being able to count to 20 in your past life you are not able to raise it
Who makes this shity windows, I wanna kill him…
please refrain from offending this system
I’m an intelligent program made by one of the brothers of the ‘the stupid Goddess’, on this planet better known as ‘the stupid sorceress’

Whoa, really? I can’t hold it, I laugh maniacally , they actually call her ‘the stupid sorceress’ on this planet. I have to dig into this,so I can make a perfect story about her stupidity. But didn’t I forgot something? Ahh, right my servants, they look really scared at the moment, hey guys I just laughed a bit, nothing to be scared of, right ?
“Uhhm, you are going to get the furniture inside the buildings, and divide yourself over the houses, so everyone can sleep in his own room.”
“Yes, my lord” they answer in unison, stand up and stroll towards their new homes. Poor guys, to have such a master…
“Gerad, you remain here.” A quick order an he turns around, and kneels in front of me.
“follow me, I have to talk to you…” We begin to walk towards the chapel where my core is, well he goes, I kind of float around…
“I want to form a unit of guards, to bring at least a bit of security into the slums, do you think that our people are able to do that?” finally I ask him, floating an the altar.
“My lord, I think it’s obvious that we have not enough troops to guard the whole slums, and even guarding only a few streets is really difficult. Due to the many agents the thief lords have in the slums, they would just distract our guards with one person while stealing something from their back, if you get what I mean.” Gerad says, unsure if it’s okay to tell me his open spoken opinion, not that I care about that…
But I see, these thief lords are really a pain, should I try and drive them out of the city? no, is probably impossible right now, with my current powers, I should be happy to be able to defend myself and my servants from all the possible threats of the outside world. But I have another few question right now…
“Do you perhaps know a possibility to increase one's own mana without leveling up?”
“Yes My lord, in case of a person, one can wear items that help to increase the mana pool, or you make a group, with at least 3 persons, so you can use the mana of all of them, but when you get mana, it gets divided, so each person gets some mana, you should only do this with beings you trust of course.”
I see, so I can get a big mana pool trough making a group with persons I trust…
“And another question, do you happen to know, about leveling up skills?”
“Yes, If you level up a skill, it gets more powerful, so in case of a fighting skill it gets deadlier and faster, in case of a magic skill, it gets much bigger and more powerful, in case of some crafting skill, your ability to create items gets better, so you are able to make better items.” He says without stopping, who the fuck has educated this person? Definitely not a certain stupid someone...
“Okay, so last thing for today, what kind of weapon do you prefer?”
“I’m good with a sword, but was trained to swing an axe.” kneeling whenever you’respeaking kind of is really tiring isn’t it?
So he was trained to wield an axe? Then the last thing to do try, before it gets night, “make axe”.
What kind of axe do you want to make ?
sharp steel axe
polished steel axe
engraved battle axe
I seem to have have 3 options each time I want to make something, well let’s just take the ‘engraved battle axe’ sound the most epic from all of them…

The axe materialized in the air and falls down
crrrnk…
Okay, good choice, this axe seems to be really good, but it’s kinda stuck in the ground.
“Gerad, might you be able to get your new axe out of the ground?”
He seems surprised, but quickly gets his hands on it, and with a strong pull he has the axe in his hands, and with that the sun goes completely down.
Gerad leaves to get back to the houses, and I am just floating, with nothing to do, I can’t do much, because I can’t really see in the Dark. Wait, I was in the Tomb of this ‘Valcius Grenada’ and there was some sort of light, wasn’t there? Ahh, I have to do this tomorrow, can’t find the entrance now…
What should I do for now? Can Dungeons sleep? Or do I have to wait till the sun goes up, to build something again?
These questions seem to trigger some sort of reaction inside me, because I fastly lose my ‘Eye’ sight and begin to drift in some sort of white space, wasn’t this where I had met this stupid Goddess?
“Yes, it was, and could you please refrain from calling your master stupid?” it’s only slightly terrifying, yes I’m not scared, the voice had just a bit too much pressure in it…
“Hrmp, yes, be scared by the great me, and now tell me why wasn’t I reincarnated? Wasn’t that your mission all along?” The pressure begins to build up, so I quickly answer: “I am very sorry, but your grave was guarded by some safety runes, so I was not able to resurrect you.” A little lie, but she does not have to know this…
“I know it, have you forgotten that I’m able to read your thoughts? and just for your information, I am also able to see what you are doing while being my servant” Uppsi, well, you see, I had to rebuild your empire first, right? you wouldn’t want to be resurrected in some ruins, right?
“Ohh, I get what you mean, you wanted to rebuild my castle first, I see. Then do so and don’t make houses for some plebeians.” In the second part, she sort of screamed with so much force that I lost consciousness.
Don’t know after how much time, but finally, I got back into life, well at least the white room, with the stupid Goddess.
“Well, I sort of nearly killed you again, so it was really hard to regain you. Because I had no more mana, I had to reset your level, in order to make you come back faster…” Seriously, why do you say that in a proud tone? I lost my precious levels…
“Don’t worry about that, when I’m resurrected, I help you slaughtering enemies, so you can level up” Won’t really help me, because I don’t get experience through killing…
“ehh, why not? You have to, Dungeons function this way…” Well, she is a stupid Goddess, so maybe it’s natural that she is sometimes not the fastest in thinking…
“Hey, I heard that. So explain me, how do you level up then?” Is this curiosity in her voice?
“I have to help people, with that I gain experience.”
“What? helping normal people, why would you?” As I have said, to gain experience, are you really listening?
“But that’s stupid, why should you care for someone else?” I think now I know why she was killed when she was a sorceress…
“Well, doesn’t matter now, you just have to level up, so you can get about 500 mana in your mana pool, then you revive me.” Ohh, 500 mana? well that’s a problem…
“Why should that be a problem ? You have to level up, and then your mana pool get’s stronger right?” She doesn’t seem to be able to see what her brothers and sisters are doing, which explains, why she doesn’t know about me not being able to gain mana through leveling up.
“Ehh, you are not able to gain mana? Ahh, wait sure, he did that. My big brother is so stupid, why has he done that?” Ohh, so he’s her big brother, explains a lot. From what I’ve seen till now, he seems to be much more mature than her.
“You, I was like I said about 3572 years in a mortal body, so I wasn’t able to mature correctly, okay?” So you say, you are not able to mature a bit and get some constructive ideas in this time?
“Well, yeah sort of, I am the youngest of us siblings, okay, so I should be allowed to be a child a little longer than the others.” For let's say about 3,5 thousand years longer, sure why not…
“Do you want to die again, this time you will not be able to resurrect…” I have to be honest, I thought a bit about my answer, but hey, you don’t have this much chances to be a dungeon, right?
