《Chaos uploaded》Chapter 26 - Back to the game.

Author’s note: Hey folks, I suck don’t I? I took a whole month off to rest and build a buffer…yet I only got this chapter done. XD I blame my newfound addictions!
Also, I know my writing skill has deteriorated ever since I left you guys hanging! I can’t help but apologize on that little fact, besides, I’m tired from rewriting this chapter for the…11th time. Getting back into writing this fiction is hard. XD

Nysa POV
I let out a small yawn. The breakfast was, for now, too quiet. Even a bit boring. Even if I tried to think of a new subject to speak of, such thoughts quickly disappeared, replaced by my excitement, and eagerness to return to the game.
So many things to do!
So many things to learn!
Magic! Swords! Dragons! Monsters! XP! Gold! Power! Fame! Grinding! Farming! Learning! Growing! Fighting…
“You should wipe out that creepy smile off your face. You’re nearly drooling on your food.” My sister just ruined my fantasies, replacing the feeling of excitement with one of shame.
“It is not creepy. It is cute, handsome and probably gets more boyfriends than your grumpy face.” I arrogantly replied, puffing up my chest.
“The only thing that face of yours get are the little girl lovers.” She replied, taking a sip of her tea to hide the wide grin on her face.
“Right, right. Now think with me: I’m a childish girl who decided to be a fairy in the game. You’re a bland girl who decided to be a man-eating slime in the game. I think that shows who’s not going to get married.” I replied, knowing that at the very least, I had a chance with some guys, the smug grin returning to my face.
“It’s you.” She replied, holding back her laughter.
“….I walked right into that one.” I replied, deciding to stay quiet for now.

“Yes you did.” Inas replied, with a cheerful laugh, as if she was declaring her victory over this match.
"So what you'll do after the breakfast?" I couldn't help but ask. "I think I'll return to the game
"Hmm, well that's a good question. I think I’ll go check the internet for some tips and tricks I could use on the game. And maybe I could post some tricks online." I smiled, already planning to check any information she might post later on. Maybe I could find more information than she just gave me.
"Of course, it's going to be hard-to-prove, time-consuming lies so the others lose time while I gain it. I might get hated on the internet, but nobody needs to know my in-game name." She added, letting out an evil laugh, while I already felt a sweat-drop on my forehead. Of course. It would be too easy to get all information from her.
“What if they are the one posting lies?” I asked, with a small giggle. There’s always that risk. Nothing prevents lies being posted on the internet, after all.
“Then I took the short end of the stick.” Inas said with a small laugh.
I couldn’t help but laugh as well, as my sister spoke such words. “I’m the smart one I guess. I’ll just experiment with whatever I can find in-game, and for now have fun.” I replied, letting out a loud laugh while walking upstairs, to my room.
“Suit yourself, then” Was the only words I heard, before arriving at where the game was… a part of me was a bit curious, though. Should I experiment with knowledge found in books and internet? Or should I find my own path? The more I thought about it, though, the more I felt like it was a better idea to do things by myself…but yet, I wanted something.

Welcome back to realms of chaos! .
I couldn’t help but let out a small laugh. ”Yes, I’m back.” I smiled, although much to my disappointment, there was no ‘lobby’ room or anything of the sort. I was directly put back in my body, right where I left it: under the covers of the inn’s bed. It was disappointing, as I could not meet Seth, and ask him a few much-needed questions, like how magic works.
So much for shortcuts, I suppose. Looking around at the inn’s room, I found Aya sleeping peacefully…with a torn pillow, full of bite marks, along with some acid-like venom dribbling from it. That thing was far from usable, and I’m pretty sure that’s how spiders digest their meals…it is an oddly cute sight... but I’m sure I’d be long dead if I was her teddy bear.
A part of me couldn’t help but think about it. That woman in the adventurer’s guild could control plants with magic, or even create them. Doesn’t that means that there is much more to magic, than the 6 classic fantasy elements?
Because of that, I could not take my eyes off the pillow. The poison element. Would I be able to create poison, if I analyzed it? I could study and understand fire, to create fireballs. Same principle, I suppose.
Grinning slightly, I decided it. Taking advantage of my helpless little friend, I jumped down from the bed, walking closer to her. I needed to be careful, though, otherwise I’ll end up suffering the same fate as the pillow I’m about to study.
Probably that was the closest to death I ever got to, as I used my air magic to help me get to Aya’s bed, right besides the poisoned pillow…I shivered at the scent of poison. Thankfully, it isn’t strong enough to hurt me just from smelling it.
Heading closer the green liquid, I was already shaking in fear a bit. I must not touch it. And above all, I should not get too close to Aya while she is sleeping, lest I suffer the same fate as it.
I closed my eyes to ‘feel’ the elements. Staring at it, I couldn’t help but be taken aback a bit. The poison…it was close to earth element than any other one, yet it wasn’t quite like rocks. Slowly and surely, I tried to pull the mana from the poison, wanting to test out with it, and even try to reproduce it. Yet, as I tried to move it, I felt a…headache.
But yet, I kept trying. Persistence is the key for most of things, right? Besides, it can’t be that hard, to learn an element such as this one…
You have run out of mana!
I stared at the window which appeared, dumbfounded. I had more than 150 mana, right? Then…then how that can be true?
“Stats!” I said, still not believing in the window.

So it is true…I lack enough magic to experiment on poison. Sighing, I made a mental note to not forget experimenting with poison after a few levels.
Defeated, I waited a few minutes until my mana was back, so I could move back to my bed and go to sleep. Even if I failed at such experiment, it still proved something: I could use magic, to manipulate much more than just the main elements, and even things that already existed.
Questioning what made some materials easier to create, and manipulate, I slowly fell asleep on my own bed, to rest a bit until morning came, smilling slightly at the thought of dungeon diving. Maybe I’ll grow powerful enough to actually cast poison magic tomorrow.
