《Chaos uploaded》Chapter 03- First meeting(part 1)

Author's note: Sorry for the late deliver of this chapter. XD Either way, I just noticed how hard it is to write about a person wandering in a place alone, with nobody sentient.Maybe I'll make that change in the next few chapters.
Also, before anything, I must declare some things that I've said in an earlier reply.
Some of the classic stats(Willpower, Wisdom, and stamina) are not mentioned in the character table. This is on purpose, as it is hard for the system to measure it. If you think about it, a person would have more willpower and stamina when trying to survive in life-or-death situations, than against a spar match. And for wisdom, how do you measure it?I believe it is simply the ability of learning things, but even that is not measurable.

Nysa POV
After a few more minutes of thinking, I finally calmed down.I could kill one squirrel, it wasn't that hard, now that I think about it.They were predicable, and that one only knew how to charge and bite...No wonder even I could win against them. Although...if I was 5ft tall, I'm not confident I would be able to hit it. Even at the same size, he managed to dodge my strike once!
I guess that's the advantage of being small, nothing big will ever hit me. Maybe in the future, I can even fight other players equally! But right now, I don't want to risk fighting them. I don't even know how to take advantage of my race's skills, like my magic, or even my wings!
Wait.
Wings?..."oh gods, tell me I was not dumb enough to forget the fact I have wings." I said, mentally facepalming
You are not dumb enough to forget the fact you have wings.Probably.
"Thanks, that was reassuring!" I said cheerfully, with a wide grin. Of course, I did not forget! I just had priorities, like surviving rabid squirrels! Now, to learn how to fly. It should be simple, right?
Closing my eyes, I tried to feel my wings.It...felt weird. I could feel them, yes, but they felt stiff, even though they are light. It felt weird to feel extra 'limbs' on my back.Trying to move them, in an attempt to imitate the motion of a butterfly, I attempted to fly. I could feel it.I could feel that, if I tried to fly, it was as simple as jumping forward! And so, I did that.
...At least, that's what I hoped.

Nysa didn't bounce.

"Ow, ow oww..." I said, getting back on my feet, with a bloody nose."Alright, ground, you asked for this! I'm leaving you for sure this time!" I shouted, as I attempted to fly again. This time, I didn't try to imitate the gentleness of a butterfly, and just flapped my wings as fast as I could.
Noticing that I was about to return to the ground again, I began to flap my legs and arms in the air too, in an attempt to make sure I could stay in the air. I managed to stay in the air a little longer, although another window appeared, distracting me long enough to make me fall on the ground, face-first.
Nysa used headbutt! It wasn't effective!
-1 HP
My head, thankfully, didn't fall hard enough to get hurt, although I was panting a bit, trying to recover my breath. When you feel tired, even the ground itself can be comfortable! I then rolled onto my back, to read the notification.
You have learnt a new skill!
FloatRating: ★★☆☆☆
level 1, beginnerXP: 0.05%
Cost: Stamina(medium)Cast time: Instant
Cooldown: noneType: Physical
By flailing your limbs, you manage to create enough air resistance to slow your fall slightly.
decreases falling speed by 20%
higher levels decreases falling speed and cost.
"So, this is not how I should fly..." I declared.Floating was not the same as flying... Maybe flight was something only available at higher levels. Either way...new skills are always great!
On that subject, I still need to figure out how to cast the size-shifting magic.
I thought deeply on the best method I could use, to cast such advanced spell. "Size-shift!" I yelled, although that only made me feel like an idiot. Magic, even in this game, is much more complex than just shouting with determination. I needed something, anything that could teach me how to cast spells.
That is my main objective for now: To learn how to use magic. And I know exactly how to do this goal of mine! To do what any sane gamer would do in my situation! Wander aimlessly and slaughter everything that can be slaughtered!
With such thoughts and confidence, I jumped onto my feet, and began to wander around in the jungle. Who knows, maybe I'll find something interesting in the jungle, and at the very worst, I might get out of it and find civilization. Humming a happy tone, I began to wave my sword around. "Time to get this party started!" I shouted, as I began to wander around.

Unlike the first few minutes into the forest, the forest seemed as if it was devoid of life.I couldn't even hear the sound of the crickets, wasps or anything.
But yet.
The sense of danger was only increasing. It was as if I was being hunted. As if there was something, very, very wrong with this.
My only cue was a simple, leaf rustling. Almost on instinct, I began to run away, not even turning back. Anything big enough to shake bushes, was big enough to consider me food, so it wasn't a good sign.
Even though I ran as fast as I could, although the sounds of steps only got louder and louder. It was catching up to me. The creature was so close to me, it was even blocking the sun...although the sounds of step would suddenly stop. I instantly tried to turn back, only to trip on my own feet, and fall down the ground.
As soon as I fell down, I could catch a glimpse of its shape and appearence. It was a grey wolf.Somehow, it missed, going right over my body...although I am sure I would've been caught if I didn't trip. Yet...the wolf turned towards me, just a few feet away. Even if I dodged once, it was impossible to flee from it. It was faster, stronger and tougher than me...
...I think I'll see the game over screen for the first time in this game today, but I'll not go down quietly!
"Somebody save meeeee!" I shouted, as I began to run away from the wolf, in tears. "The big bad wolf is going to eat me!" Yet, as I ran, the wolf was constantly getting closer and closer to me...and suddenly he tried to lunge again.
Thinking it was the same trick, I fell to the ground, believing I'd dodge it. How naive I was.
The wolf was apparently smart enough to feint the jump, and now walked closer and closer to me... I closed my eyes, getting ready to die. There was no escape. I felt the wolf circling me, just a few inches... maybe if I fake death I'll be ignored.
Yet just a few seconds later, I felt something slightly sharp against my torso, yet it wasn't pressed hard enough to penetrate my skin. After a few seconds, I was lifted up, off the ground and carried away.
Where am I going? Am I going to be food for the pups?...I can't even reach the log out button, to save myself from the pain of death...
