After a fair sized break spanning a number of days I return to the game. School had finally ended and ruined my mood, so most of my time was spent reading rather than playing the game. I also needed praise from Maddy to lift my spirit, but that was only recently received. With my mood finally stabilized I plan to clear whatever this crystal dungeon is in as fast of a fashion as I can.
The journey to the end of the amethyst cave seemed to take a long time, but this may have just been based on my mood as the journey back is quite quick.
With the shift of my thoughts and my mood swings under control the icy and chaotic spiritual energy seems to weaken and my control over them weaken as well. However this means my golden spiritual energy has been restored and control over it has been strengthened as well. While most souls have a number of energies their energy is shifted much more understandably. If one were to experience a traumatic event then their soul would typically change altogether, and if a smaller event changes their mood their control of certain sections would change. If one were angry their control over a more destructive energy would be increased and the rest of their energy would become much weaker. This is true to people with typical souls of a purer white or paler colors made from a large amount of all colors.
Soul mutates are different, their souls diverge from the typical path and have a varying types. A few types of soul mutates include: those with high empathy, whose soul energy can change due to those around them, those with different types of mood swings, whose energy can change rather randomly, and those with low emotion, whose soul energy is darker and has distinctly different effects. These are of course just a few examples and divergent souls are extremely broad in variety.

My golden spiritual energy is much more flexible than my other two, it is easily bent and has little offensive capability. Such an energy is easiest to use for defense, but with it's high abundance I use it to manipulate the elements. Mana can be consider a sort of diluted spiritual energy and thus mana with higher concentrations of spiritual energy is much more potent.
I finally arrive outside of the amethyst cavern and back into the blue crystal cavern. I walk through the membrane and turn left, walking briskly until I walk through the next membrane on my left. This membrane previously repulsed me, but now can be passed with ease, so much so that with my eyes closed I would not notice that there was anything there. Rather than taking a chance that I can block another surprise attack I expel a large amount of spiritual energy in the form of small particles. These particles are what I previously called spiritual essence, but is really just spiritual energy diluted in the air. Spiritual essence is difficult to control well, but easy to control in a vague manner. I send all the spiritual essence I previously expelled and send it down the reddish purple cavern. The movement of spiritual essence also causes the particles in the air to move and gives the illusion of control over wind. Spiritual essence particles stick to the walls of the cavern and anything else in it's way, so I easily get a mental image of the cavern due to my connection with my own spiritual energy. I manage to extend my spiritual sense (spiritual essence connection) to about half the length of the previous cavern, there does not seem to be any enemies but I do not let my guard down.
After walking just thirteen brief steps a number of jagged crystals are propelled towards me from the wall. They move diagonally towards me at a rather rapid speed, so I use the technique I previously used to better control Maddy's throwing knives. The mass of the crystals is much higher than the throwing knives, so the most I can do is change their trajectory from my a fatal wounds to a grazing blow. Four of the six crystal spikes graze both my arms that I used to protect my vitals.

Had my spiritual sense not encompassed this area I would not have noticed the crystals firing at me. The movement of the crystals caused no sound and was quite hard to see in a cavern made of them. I can't do anything to easily protect myself from additional traps without expending a large amount of energy, so I instead move further down the cave with caution. Thankfully my mind is quite attentive now that the stress of school has disappeared, and my worries have been assuaged.
After walking what I believe is a third of the way through this cavern without issue a deep rumbling shakes the area nearly causing me to fall. The tremor is very brief, but still causes me to further my attentiveness. There had been no tremors in the previous amethyst cavern which I spent a fair amount of time in, so I believe this tremor can only be a bad thing.
Immediately after I get my bearing I sense a high amount of crystals flying towards my direction, there are ten times the amount of crystals that previously attacked me at the minimum. Their number easily exceeds fifty and cause a cold sweat to build on my body. My spiritual energy cannot enter these crystals, so I cannot manipulate the surrounding earth. The most I can do is try to negate as much damage as possible similar to my previous tactic. With such a large amount I can't focus on any single one of them, so I split the current of air to avoid me making me appear rather aerodynamic. Of course with such an amount of heavy crystals the most I can do is negate a percent of them. I pour most of energy into this move and hope that it will negate a fair amount of damage. I also attempt to make my body as small as possible to decrease the size of their targets. Over seventy percent of the crystals are repelled by the wind, but this still leaves a large amount to attack my body.
