In middle of night ,with moon as the only source of light. 2 people clashing together on top of castle. On other hand Hikari was watching it realized,it was beyond her understanding. But it was fight between 2 people of S ranker,no it was one sided. As blade wound kept appearing on his body...even her heal couldn't keep it up. Then Ezax sword was knocked away from his hand and broke. Even with Dragon Ascension it wasn't enough for him to fight her. There was no even trace of fatigue on her. "Her black blade send an invisible attack that go throught the sword. Most likely it used the darkness as it color so It couldn't be seen with normal eyes."(Ezax)

Hear Ezax Voice,Irene were surprised but she soon regained her calmness. Then look at the boy in front of him. To be able standing with this kind of wound on his whole body. His willpower was amazing.She thought that as she look the boy in front of her. On otherhand Hikari was shocked but then she stop her healing spell and begin to chant something else.

"Let me tell you one thing,you should give up. It was useless to kept fighting."(Irene)

Ezax said that as he took some potion and drink it. It was high class potion that he always saved for emergency,it would completely heal him in 10 second and kept heal him for 10 minutes.but After those 10 minutes then the medicine would rebound and made him unable to move for one day,the second potion increase Magic power or Mp regen for 5 minutes with drawback to use magic for a whole day then the last potion increase his speed for 15% with the drawback unable to move for a whole hour. The reason he ordered Hikari to step back was because she was too weak and would be burden. That's why he told her to stay at back and cast any buff for him..

As she soon she said that Ezax already appeared in front of him ,even thought she managed to dodge,his left hand move toward her stomach and blasted her near the edge of castle. It was a light magic,the most basic magic Light blast. yet he able to cast it instantly made her amazed. But then she regain her balance and then resumed her attack. Right now her strength and his strength was equal if only Ezax didn't bring the burden with him.

After 3 whole minutes,Ezax then step back and try defeat her in one move,since it was move that destroy anything in front of him and need charged. Ezax was buying time for that move the move that he used to defeat the bone dragon...but..

"Sorry,but I didn't want to lost either."(Irene)

Irene throw her dagger which rush toward Hikari,Ezax saw this immediately moved between dagger and hikari . He try to repel it but it break throught his sword and go throught his right shoulder. But because of this the dagger missed by 3 cm from hikari.

"You lost Ezax,You lost because you were protecting her."(Irene)

"No..Dragon Ascencion...Off.."(Ezax)

The sword dissapear,then Ezax said..

"Sword Appear."(Ezax)

Ezax took out of katana from his dimensional ring. His technique that given by Celes to made the weapon appear at whenever he want was not completed. It wasn't at level of celes that can change just based on thought. Even thought he had dimensional ring.

"Fafnir."(Ezax)

Ezax summon fafnir in his original form. Fafnir who said this know,Ezax couldn't hold anymore.

"Ezax..Let's retreat. Your body couldn't hold much longer."(Fafnir)

"No,This kind of opponent wouldn't let us retreat.Beside we only need to hold it until the morning. If the morning arrives..then It was our win."(Ezax)

"What a scary boy to judge my weakness just with this little information. But it was a pity...your body coudn't even hold another minute or another attack from me like this."(Irene)

She threw one throwing knife toward Irene. Seeing this Ezax order fafnir to guard hikari in his stead. Fafnir comply...but just after he repelled the dagger...2 knife flying faster than before hit 2 his knee and rob his movement. Ezax falls on the floor she then immediately moved before him. Ezax glare againts her but irene only giggled.

"What a reselient boy.but this was the end. "(Irene)

"Light geyser."(Hikari)

Irene immediately step back an light pillar appear in her previous position. She then looked toward hikari who run toward his side and took some kind of small bottle with no label.She was shocked as it was Elixir. The legendary that could save people no matter what happen to him. As long his head wasn't separated from the bodies then Elixir can cure anything.

"Ezax,please drink this.."(Hikari)

"Hikari,that is.."(Ezax)

"Elixir,don't worry about it. Just drink it.."(Hikari)

"I wouldn't let you!(Irene)

Just as Irene move closer she was repelled by fafnir tail.Then fafnir created barrier around Ezax and Hikari.

"Maybe I couldn't beat you or hurt you. But blocking your attack for one minutes was easy matter for me ."(Fafnir)

"Damn!!!!"(Irene)

Even thought her mission was success but if her dear found out about this then he would be dissapointed . She didn't want her dear to be dissapointed after all of those he done for her. On other hand..after a minutes takuya body was restored...even those side effect after drinking those potion was cured. But because of elixir the effect was gone too..

"Hikari,That elixir..was your heirloom right?Why?why you waste it on me?'(Ezax)

"It's wasn't that important. Beside I didn't want hide anything again from you anymore.I am sorry Ezax..it took me very long time to undo the seal ."(Hikari)

As she said hikari hair turned into silver and then said...

"Did you disgusted by me?After all I had this kind of hair color.."(Hikari)

Silver was said the hair color of the devil that destroy half of human continent and nearly wiped 90% of humanities 50 years ago. Ezax understand why she hide it and rarely trust anyone. After all people had silver color would be executed ...even a baby couldn't escape that fate. Not to mention the pigment that used to change the color itself was very expensive and there was no magic exist to change the hair color..but Ezax stand up and give her a chop in the middle of her head.

Light begin to gather around hikari and then Fafnir said.

"Second stage was reached,Ezax you could use second stage dragon ascension!You able to use for 10 second!!"(Fafnir)

"No that wasn't enough,take my blessing..Ezax."(Hikari)

Suddenly a magic symbol appear below me and then it envelop his whole body.he felt surge of power within my body. This magic?why he didn't know about it.

"Let's fight together Ezax..This time I wouldn't be a burden anymore!!(Hikari)

Hikari draw her rapier and the another rapier appear at her otherhand. Dual Wield?Then as Ezax thought that her body begin floating and wing were made of light appear at her back.

"Now Irene nee-chan!!I will show you my resolve!!!My resolve to protect everything that important for me!!"(Hikari)

"Fafnir let's go!!We will go all out!!Dragon Ascencion"(Ezax)

The sword once again appear at his hand,but this time a pair of dragon wing appear at his back. The real fight would just begin.
