As I was shocked and surprised at the same time..Seria continue to tell me..

The reason I tortured...it was because them...as I lost in word...Seria continue.

Then Eliza raise her hands and begin to ask question..

Even I know its reason...there was only 1 answer..

"For the extinction race other than dragoon...."(Ezax)

WHile both of them was shocked and surprised...Seria nodded as I was right..even fafnir and Michel was silent the whole talks. Then Hikari say..

"Are they really sure can do that?Extenction..it wasn't that easy!!!Not to mention if the 4 race army was combined..it should be easily overhelmed the dragoon race."(Hikari)

"Hikari unlike the 4 race..dragoon never do any war with other races..their population moreso the same as the other 4..."(Ezax)

"Not to mention..they already started made the preparation to wage the war....even as we speak."(Seria)

We fall into silent again...as we face a wall right now..I make a suggestion for them..

"Anyway forget about for time being...let's take a rest and then go to surface.."(Ezax)

At midnight..

While everyone was sleeping. I was thinking...what I should do?If what Seria said was true..then there was no need for me to go too dragoon continent. After all the reason why I want to go there was only to save my family...but they don't need it. after all I was only tool to them...but...what I must do now? I lost my only objective....as I lean on the wall suddenly Hikari comeover...

"Can't sleep?"(Hikari)

"Pretty much. after all I lost my only objective...."(Ezax)

Maybe because of it,I felt so empty inside.It was like losing important part of you. To be honest..I don't know what to do anymore...Reading my mind,Hikari only said..

"Ezax,why you want to get stronger?why you want money?"(Hikari)

"To protect my family.."(Ezax)

As I answer honestly..Hikari smiled warmly at me.

"See?You already have it..."(Hikari)

"...........eh?"(Ezax)

As I blatantly don't understand what she means..she only said.

"To protect others..it was also an objective. never forget that Ezax.."(Hikari)

As she said that she go back to sleep. But her words..indeed allows me to move on..

"Thank you Hikari.."(Ezax)

As I said my thanks to her..I also go to sleep. tomorrow..we will return to the city...better take some good rest...

In the morning

While everyone were still sleeping,I go to michel. I want to ask more information about dragoon race..Unlike Seria who didn't care about dragoon race..michel pretty much know this was important so just in case she study it.. I ask everything..if there was only other kingdom..nobles or anything sort. But michel replied that there was only 1 kingdom and the kingdom was governed by 1 king. No prime minister or anything. The whole kingdom life and death situation was depending on the king. Beside the reason there was no rebellion until now was because the king never do anything iresponsible. But even thought it was look perfect on paper..there was indeed small scale rebellion..but it was never big one..Half of it because all of the civilian who do rebellion was not a noble or a weak dragoon. Before it become problem...the rebel seed was already cut and burned. Including the family..it was rather cruel to be honest But it was indeed effective way..

"Michel.do you think it is possible to gain some people as ally?no..To make them not to participate in the war?"(Ezax)

Michel shake her head,then said..

"It was impossible. I don't know why..but dragoon race hold prejudice again other race..but what scary from it..It was like it was natural for dragoon race to hate others race. Near everyone was like that."(Michel)

Take note to that,I guess it will be impossible to cut their power. Still to think it was worse than prejudice human to beastmen and vice versa...it was really scary...now what should we do? I doubt we can even defeat half of the force as the condition right now..While I was thinking what I should do michel asked me..

"Ezax,Why you ask this suddenly?"(Michel)

"Hmm?even if you ask me..I just want to protect my family .."(Ezax)

Thought I said family..it means my little sister thought.

"I see ,I see. Ezax..Honestly I think there was other way right? Won't it be fine just to let dragoon race win the war?You and Seria can still survive right?"(Michel)

"Maybe ,you were right...but michel we didn't know for sure what will happen in the future. What if they kill us?"(Ezax)

"Yep,even if we survived...a life with other no choice except run...it won't make her happy...that's why it was better to win the war and then live happily after that right?"(Ezax)

"There was no other choice after all. but considered that..what will be the first race you seek?"(Michel)

"Beastmen,of course."(Ezax)

After all they were the race who hold the sense of comradery the highest...not to mention...I know the king very well..thought he was a bit...well you can say..he was overprotective.
