“…Please leave the area in an orderly manner. Thank you for coming. Have a nice day.” Odius’s voice echoed the entire stadium, people started to leave while discussing with each other about the battle they just witness. Amidst the crowd, there was a group of people still sit comfortably in their seats as if they did not hear the referee’s announcement.
“Hey, why aren’t we leaving like everybody else?” a tall and slim male with dashing blue hair and a pair of emerald blue eyes asked the group he is currently with “We can go hit a club, visit the library or find Carlos and get a good laugh at him”.
“Xinyi, if you want to hustle with a bunch of vermin, be my guest. I will stay here with my lovely angel.” The tallest guy of the group, who possesses deep black hair and a pair of silver eyes, smug at his companion suggestion “Although to be honest, I am a bit surprised at the result. I never thought that he would be defeated by that girl.”
“Well, that’s what happens when you are too confident and blind to everything else. You would be too if you keep on with that attitude, Asmodius.” Another tall man with a monocle on his left eyes said so as he removed it and place it neatly inside a ring that looks similar to Carlos’s. He possessed brilliant brownish hair and a pair of crimson eyes that has lost the spark of interest compared to a few minutes ago “The girl aside, you seem to be more interested in the maid… no… the box that the maid is holding. Leila, what is it?” As he pointed toward Elaina, who is now standing aside her master obediently.
“It’s nothing.” Leila dismissed the question casually.
“If you want it, I can get it for you, you know?” The spark of interest lit up again within his eyes as he saw something different behind those golden eyes. However, his noteworthy comment had also sparked the interest of the other men that were currently surrounding Leila.

“Alvis, I said it is NOTHING. Please mind your own business. That goes for the rest of you too.” Leila jumped out of the group and walk toward the exit gracefully “I do not need your help. What I want, I will obtain it by myself.” Leila walked out of the stadium after she declared so, leaving the group of men stunned.
“Well, our little angel is angry. That is a new one. Have any of you blockhead ever see her angry?” Asmodius look at the figure of Leila disappearing behind the stadium’s door and look back at the group of men behind him.
The group of men shook their heads. Their expression was as confused as Asmodius. Suddenly, from beneath the ground where they stood, long thick vines rapidly sprouted from the ground and surrounded everyone in the vicinity. Everyone, except a young man that looks like a younger version of Xinyi, was immediately restrained by the vines.
“Xinye, what do you think you are doing?” Xinyi shouted.
“Why do you even ask, bro. I am just getting a head start. That’s all.” Xinye said so as he started dashing toward Maria’s group who was remaining below the BattleGround’s stage.
However, before Xinye could get far, a low but clear voice entered Xinye’s ear from behind “Nice try, kid. But you are a little too green.” Before he got slam by a heavy force…
“You m…” before Xinye got to utter another word, he got stepped on again, and again, and again. He can feel each person pass by intentionally step directly on his head, pushing it further into the ground.
“Mind your language, kid.”
“Sorry kid, but this is not your playground.”
“Sorry Bro, but this time, I can’t let you get a head start.”
“…”

“…Please leave the area in an orderly manner. Thank you for coming. Have a nice day.” Odius’s voice echoed the entire stadium. As David heard the announcement and saw the figure of lady Elisa preparing to leave, he shouted: “Wait!”.

The shout was not as strong as Odius’s voice amplifier, but it was enough for the intended party to hear. As Maria and her maid stop and turn around, they were greeted by David, who was currently in a ragged breath, trying to catch air.
“My apologies for my shameful display, miss Elisa.” David composed himself and bowed.
“What do you want?” Maria curiously looked at the man before her. There was a slight discomfort that she did not feel before started to surface.
“It is shameful to say it but, well, uh…” David stuttered
“…” Maria took the marriage contract out again and wave before David. As David’s eyes focus on the scroll, Maria said “Double the amount to buy, no bargain.”
“That’s outrag…” David tried to shout but stopped the moment he saw Elisa’s expression. Her face was just as expressionless as it was when she made a deal with Carlos. Remembering everything that has happened until now, David suddenly thought of an absurd scenario but quickly dismiss it “I…” David tried to say something but could not. He sighed in defeat and took out a small piece of metal with a rectangular shape, press on it with a seal, and handed it to Maria “Here.”
Maria took the piece of metal and looked at it. From Elisa’s memories, she recognized this piece of metal as another version of the ring that Carlos used to own. Though this piece of metal can store more, it can only store one type of material and require a key to open it. Maria pressed the piece of metal on the ring. When they made contact, Maria could feel a slight shake between the piece of metal and the ring. After the shaking stopped, Maria handed back the piece of metal and gave David the scroll “Good doing business with you, sir… David?”
David was confused when Elisa addressed him with an odd tone but quickly dismiss it as an attempt to taunt him. However, when he turned around to leave, he was hit with confusion when he saw a group of men coming this way. They were all familiar faces, some he even wished that they never met, but the most curious of all is they were not here for David.
“Howdy, little girl. Do you mind doing another business with me?” Asmodius was the first one to approach Maria.
“I will pay double on whatever he is offering you.” Alvis politely cut in.
“I will pay triple!” Xinye shouted.
“Wait, how did you get that much money?” Alvis questioned Xinye.
“Some of us have the front channel, you have backchannel, I have the middle channel. Let’s just say being popular come with benefits.” Xinye answered.
Maria was taken aback by surprise. She could notice some big faces among the crowd, most of them are either celebrity or prince of a different kingdom. Most important of all, they were all ‘that girl’ ‘s fanboy.
“Well, that depends on what ‘Business’ we are talking about.” Maria answered politely.
“Girl, We want that box.” Asmodius pointed at the box that Elaina was holding.

Keter
They called him "Keter"; The Top-Most; The Crown. An unsurpassable, unstoppable, unkillable soldier. Etched with a twisted set of morals and studded by an impossible drive for lachesism, Keter terrorized the world for ages. But time, you see, is a most patient thing. As sure as it gives, so does it take. Even the Crown saw the eternal spindle drawing on him. He blinked, for the last time, and saw a world anew. Synopsis. So, basically, I’ve gotten tired of all these stale mcs that keep popping up left right and center. Either they are painstakingly good-natured or horribly written ‘evil’ characters. So, here’s my take on the concept of a Villain. Someone ruthless, cunning, and not shy of seeking darker means to an end. Hell, as long as it’s effective, he’ll prefer the blacker side of business. The new world will be, like many others, one in a medieval-type setting with traces of magic and the like; though I hope to make better use of this than most others who simply steal ideas from classical novels or other sources.
