《The Strongest Hero VS The Weakest World?》Chapter 8 - Level Up
Advertisement
In front of me is an enormous building made out of bricks. It's rusted and looks run down, almost like an old ruin. Akria stops at the entrance and faces me, giving me one last lesson.
"Alright, this is the place. Here, you'll be able to summon monsters and defeat them to level up. Before that, you have to get a Class and a Sub-class. These will convert the experience you get into a form that'll level you up. Typically, only certain people with specialized skills or the Gods can bestow others with classes. This still applies, but at this point, I'm sure you have the skill. Used the search feature for a skill called Oracle."
As instructed, I open my status and used its search feature, which I got when the skill reached level 20. With it, I'm able to look at the other skills that I have which aren't showing up or find certain skills to see if I have them. I mentally insert Oracle into the search bar and wait for the results...
Oracle (Level 20) -- This allows you to change classes and subclass at any time.
"Yep, I have the skill."
"Okay, good. Go ahead and activate it. Once you do, you'll be given a list of current classes and subclasses you can get based on your status."
I nod and activate the skill. Oracle! After activation, a list appears before me.
Available Classes:
> Knight (Level 1)
> Swordsman (Level 1)
> Fire Magician (Level 1)
> Water Magician (Level 1)
> ...
Available Sub-classes:
> Blacksmith (Level 1)
> Alchemist (Level 1)
> Carpenture (Level 1)
> Gatherer (Level 1)
> ...
Many items are in both of the lists, all of which are at level one. Apparently, these items improve my abilities further by giving me special effects related to their name. To get better items, I need to level certain ones up. For instance, If I reach level 10 in Swordsman, I should unlock the next version. Plus, with my blessing of the Sword God, I should reach level 20 in all of those related classes.
Anyway, I have to start at the beginning for now. For this reason, I select Swordsman for my main class and Magician for my sub-class. Luckily for me, it appears that I can have two combat classes enabled at a time, and I can switch them out anytime without any penalty.
"Okay, I have them now."
"Great. They will naturally level up by doing tasks that are related to the class. For combat classes, which I hope you selected, they should level up while you fight monsters. Anyhow, let's go in and start."
"Right."
After getting my classes, I head inside after Akria. I follow her as we go deeper and deeper into the broken building. After walking inside for a minute, we reach a wide-open arena-style room. In the center, there is a large crystal hooked up to some sort of magic circle that is placed on the floor. Akria stops before entering and faces me.
"This is the place where you can summon and fight monsters. I'll be stopping here for today, but I'll explain how that crystal works before I go. When you place your hand on it, it retrieves your mana and data that you attach to your mana stream in the form of images. It then takes your mana as power and uses that image to summon monsters."
"Doing it this way, however, is a major bug as it randomizes their values. To combat this, you have to send data to the crystal about the monster's level, abilities, and other information. With your lessons, you should have no problems. Anyway, good luck! Remember that they are real monsters and can kill you. Be careful while you fight them, understand?"

"Yes, Akria-Sensai!"
"Good. With that, I take my leave."
I nod and bow to Akria. After she left, I head inside and immediately got started. I place my hand onto the crystal. When I do, a window appears.
Command?
"Hmm, I guess this is where I give it data. Alright... I guess I can fight Goblins for my first fight. Oh, I also need to think of the level and abilities it should have... How about... Level 20 with F+ abilities."
With Kevin's help, I learned about all of the monsters in all of the worlds. I also learned that their abilities could rank them in some worlds, which is how bad their skills are. F+ rank abilities mean that they are trash, with their highest leveled skill being two or three.
Anyway, I send my thoughts to the crystal along with some of my mana.
Goblin - F+ rank abilities - Level 20!
The crystal shines for a moment. After it shines, the window reappears.
Confirmed. Please send more mana. Every 50 mana receive, one goblin will spawn. Data will be automatically saved until new thoughts are sent in, allowing only mana for spawning.
The window disappears after that and awaits my mana. Smiling, I sent what I thought was 50 mana into the crystal; however...
"Huh?!"
My eyes widen as I see everything in front of me. It appears that I need to adjust my power a lot when spawning in weaker monsters... After inserting my mana, two hundred magic circles appear around the floor within the circle that connects to the circle. It appears that I gave the crystal 10,000 mana instead of 50, which is summoning two hundred goblins instead of one.
After a moment, all of the circles vanish, leaving green bodies in their path. Those bodies slowly stand and look around. Once they noticed me, they take hold of their clubs and charge at me.
"Uh oh..."
Outnumbered by a lot, I cast flight magic and ascend above them; however, projectiles appeared behind me and hit my back as I do. When I turned around, I saw that some of the goblins had bows and arrows while others had upgraded versions of clubs.
"Hmm, their intellect is higher than what I expected. Oh, well. Time to end this."
Although there are many, they are only weak leveled monsters. True, numbers usually beat power, but at my level, that rule doesn't apply anymore. I hold out my hand and cast level eight magic... Firestorm (Medium)!
With my spell, fireballs start falling from the sky, landing onto the goblins. I also cast a barrier to protect the building before I sent my spell to break anything. I wait five minutes and then deactivated my spell. I smile as I look at the Goblins' dead bodies.
"Alright, they are all dead. Nice!"
I cheer to myself as I look at the many green, burnt bodies of Goblins. After clearing their bodies, I head back to the crystal and sent more mana into them. Since I was able to handle this much, I thought I could handle loads more. I continued killing goblins as I slowly increased their number. With that time progresses, making it night time...
"Ah, what a day! I think I killed my 100th batch of Goblins. What does that make now? A million goblins or so?"
After the 50th batch of them, I decided to raise their level to 100, which normal goblins usually can never get to. When I did, they became slightly harder but still don't pose any problems. In the 90th batch, I rose their abilities to S rank. They were challenging at this point, but I could defeat them with no actual damage taken on my side with my magic.

"Hmm... I think I'll stay here overnight. Yeah, but I should contact my maids beforehand..."
I use my skill Teleportation and instantly teleport back home. After telling the maids about my plans, I teleported back to the building and summoned and killed more monsters. Speaking about them, I gave them immortal bodies so that they could survive with me. If I didn't, they wouldn't be able to serve me the entire time, which would break their contract with the True God. Both were very happy to hear this...
Anyway, I spend the next couple of million years staying within the building and spawning/killing monsters. I defeated monsters from low-ranking to high-ranking, including special monsters. For instance, I killed many dragons and demons. I also defeat some evil Gods that I was able to summon here. At some point, I became so overpowered that I could one-shot any monster I came across, no matter their level or abilities.
At that point, I started spending less time at the building and more time relaxing. I still trained, but instead of 100% of the time, I only trained for about 99%. I spend my free time doing my own research, which some people started to call beyond level 20. I ignored them and continued living my life.
At some point, I was given the responsibility to help train new heroes. Sadly for them, my training was harsher than any of the Gods. I was more strict than Akria-sensei. Anyway, after some point in time, the heroes trained by me started referring to me as The God of Everything because I taught them about all of the subjects. I even trained them with some monsters to raise some of their levels. Oh, and those who were given a choice of who to train with usually tried to stay away from me. I wonder why...
Anyhow, once I got these responsibilities, I lowered my workload to 50%. When I newly obtained my free time, I decided to create ultimate items when I travel to save the world. Also, to relieve some of my boredom...
The first thing I created was weapons. I decided to make two swords for my main weapons and a bow as my backup weapon or ranged attacks. At this point, my classes have changed to a combination-type that combines most of the everything classes provide. That said, I mostly use magic or the sword to fight. This kind of makes the other training of weapons useless. Also, I could have made a staff for my magic, but it wasn't really needed...
I had created many items before when I was learning about blacksmith and other things; however, they weren't needed nor the very best. This time, I wanted to create the best weapons across all worlds. With that, I started my journey to create my swords.
For the materials, I used a new skill that I obtained Creation. I got this skill from maxing all of the skills and blessings I got from all Gods. To be more specific, I got it once the blessing from God of Creation was completed (100% Maxed skills). With this skill, I can create any material or item using my mana as its power source. I can also use materials that make the overall item more effective.
I used a special alloy for my two swords that I discovered, which I named Perfect Alloy. With this alloy, anything I create becomes unbreakable. It's also perfect for magic.
With that, I created my two main swords and my bow. I decided to use magical arrows for the main ammo; however, I did craft some arrows in case I ever need them. For my swords, I decided to create Katanas, one black and one white.
I enchanted them almost the same; however, I aimed my black katana towards being sharp and damaging effects and aimed my white katana on giving side effects and healing myself (Black for offense and White for defense). Using both in tandem is a deadly combination. My bow is also deadly, but I rather use the katanas instead...
Other than these, I created various items like potions, magical items, and technology that I might need in the other world.
Anyway, time continues to progress, making it now a total of 100 million years that I have stayed in this realm. Yes, this means that it's about time for me to leave. Actually, today is my last day. In an hour, I'll be leaving and heading towards a word to save. Although I'm sad, this is what I have been training for.
"Alright, let's get started..."

Old Riding Author Lunatic Asylum
Just off the A19, in the dark, incomprehensible lands known as Yorkshire, there lies a town. A town where shadow-silent alleys glint with the secret hunger of knives. Where blood soaks the chipboard window shutters of forsaken terraces stretching off into the night. Where the smog-choked air rattles with the depraved laughter echoing out from clubs that can only generously be described as post-apocalyptic. Well, that’s Middlesbrough. But down the A19 a bit (an impossibly long way down, actually) there lies another town: Raughnen, in the ancient, forgotten Old Riding. It is an equal match in muggery and thuggery alike. It also has magic spells and pointy wizard hats. And now, across the miles and across all sensibilities, a pretty nasty power (a magic one) calls out for its pretty nasty counterpart (a decidedly unmagic one): a proper sound Boro lad. Nothing good can come of it. This is a collection of one novella and four connected short stories: I. A Yorkshire Summoning II. Old Riding Day Trip (the novella) III. Heaven is a Parmo IV. Death on the 66 V. Death on the 257 In total, this comprises 34 chapters totalling around 35,000 words, so try not to worry. It will be over relatively quickly. There are three more short stories with more tenuous links to the core collection: Rush, Paper Round and Scenario 79: Sausage Fingers, all of which can be found in my collection Short Records of Misadventure. Reading these may allow you to make more sense of certain parts of the story, if any sense is to be made at all. NOTE: There are instances of prejudice and discrimination within these stories, including elements of sexism and ageism, which are purely the thoughts and actions of the characters involved and which certainly do not reflect my own views on these matters. ANOTHER NOTE; A WARNING, PERHAPS: This can get a bit weird. In less than 150 pages, we have four viewpoints, first and third person narratives, and a completely disjointed plot with lots of gaps, dead ends and no real resolution. Also ZERO lunatic asylums. It's all a bit odd. If that sort of thing isn't your cup of tea, which it most likely isn't, it might be best to move on now.

Cadence managed to do that part. But a normal girl wouldn't then open her eyes again and learn that death is not as permanant for her as it is for other people. She can be reborn again, and again. Each time stronger and with new abilities. The catch? Any world she is born into, she can never return to. She has infinite lives, but only one life for each. So begins The Many Lives of Cadence Lee. I added a number of additional adventures, expanded on Danny's personal relationships, and made many revisions to the overall storyline. I apologize, as I have no current plans to add any portions of Book 3 to this website.]
