Chapter 2 Hallucinations and the Parthenon
Avian’s POV
Well the jet trip was interesting, now then I am in Greece what do first? Lets go see the Greek Parthenon, so I get in a limo and leave the airport. My boss when I told him that I was going to go to Greece, he said to let him do the planning, so the limo is from the company, why cant I remember the name of the company I work for? Probably never bothered to learn it oh well.
I think the hallucinations are happening again, why because I can see falling hippos above me riding mini coopers, I wonder why they are riding them huh. I wonder if I died.
Wait I can see the Greek Parthenon out of the way hippos! I jump into the front seat and move the driver and take over.
“Sorry, but cant let the nonexistent hippos stop me from getting to the pantheon, I am taking over” I say.
The driver had a face of shock at what I said, ha. What’s this red button, it says nitro lets push it.
* Click *
Woo!! The limo hit 300, we are going super fast, why are the hippos speeding up? Faster!
Finally after dodging so many hippos we are here at the Parthenon, the drive is passed out oh well. Now is the time to check out the Greek Parthenon I get out and start walking toward it. While walking I thought I heard someone call my name but I dismissed it.
Just as I was about to enter it, I hear a large cracking sounds, I look up and see the pillars of the pantheon floating above me. I wish I was hallucinating again, but I know I am not, those are the pillars of the Parthenon. My face shows signs of sadness and fear, and then the pillars come crashing down on me.

Limo Driver POV
Well I am here, to drive Avian Drake, the world’s best builder for games. This is so exciting, me of all people will be driving Mister Drake, and I should show him some fun spots in Greece. Mister Drake has such interesting hair, I love the color I wonder if it was dyed or if it is natural.
Well driving is Greece is fun, what’s that! I think it looks like a hippo, Why is there a hippo falling from the sky, I got to protect mister drake, dodge them, why the heck are they riding mini coopers, there is too many, I am so gonna die if I don’t protect him.
Then Mister Drake grabs me and pushes me over and took the wheel, then he presses the nitro button, this limo was designed by the government to go fast, so of course it has a nitro button.
Man we are going so fast, how is Mister Drake dodging all of the hippos, he is more amazing than I thought. Then I hit my head and blackout.
I wake up and mister drake isn’t in the car, oh no.
“Mister Drake!” I yell
I look outside the car and see the pantheon, and see a Mister Drake at it. I get out and start to run towards him. Then I stopped, because the pillars of the pantheon started to rise and then float. Am I Dreaming, I got to get Mister Drake out of the area he is in danger.
Then the pillars went crashing down straight onto Avian Drake. I went to my knees I failed my job, Mister Drake died, I couldn’t save him. Then I felt the most pain I have ever felt in my life, then nothing.
A shrapnel from a broken pillar flew at the driver and went straight through the driver’s skull instantly killing him.
Avian’s POV
Black everything is black, wait I see a door, I go to the door and open it. I see a house in the middle of space floating.

The Loyal Ones [Dark Biopunk Fantasy]
TLDR; A slave monster survives horror, war and servitude, while trying to live with himself. Thralls are a race of monstrous slave soldiers, in a universe where biological magic takes the place of technology. Centuries ago, their ancestors were desperate humans, who volunteered to be transformed for the Poison War. Today their unfortunate descendants are still soldiers and laborers. In contract law they are 'corporate wards'; slaves owned largely by arms dealers. Dally Harper starts this story as a champion cage fighter. He is one of the 'lucky' ones. It's all downhill from there. Content Warning: Explicit violence and gore, slavery, implied sexual assault. None of these are framed as positive or glorified, however they do have a strong impact on the plot and main characters.

Unto Dark
A man of cripplingly ill mind, bridled with the spirits and regrets of the past. Wade Pierce trudges through each day of his monochrome existence, only as penance for his sins. Such a man is abruptly decamped of this world courtesy of unapologetic forces, left stranded in a realm filled with unknowns. Armed only with his potent yet fragile intellect, Wade advances into this new abyss, as he attempts to rewrite the wrongs he has committed. Plagued by vile beasts, self-righteous Gods, and even his own seething darkness, the cracks in his mind begin to spread and a dangerous, newfound power bubbles beneath the surface. As the world grows darker day by day, this unfortunate journey begins ------------ I suppose rectitude dictates that I should state any themes worthy of noting here. First of all, this story is not a sunshiny one in the slightest. Since it is listed under the psychological and mature tag and not the comedy tag, that shouldn't be a surprise. Next, morbidity is a factor and general apathy towards human life. All of these are common themes amongst other writers, so nothing new there. The story also contains consensual, and non-consensual sexual activity, although I have tried to be as tasteful as is possible for someone like myself. Finally, the pace is drawn-out, and the language is magniloquent at times. Not to mention, the chapters are quite lengthy. Don't expect to read this halfheartedly... Other than that, enjoy the story... There's nothing more important than that...
