In the 2nd hour of Siege, Ruh's army reached the gates of City. Kong squinted his eyes and lifted his hand.''Let them out!''With Kong's order, gates opened and several hundred beasts appeared. Ruh's army couldn't pierce through the barrier in a short time so they couldn't rush directly.''Minor fire, Major earth!''A Demon Lord gave the order the moment he sensed beasts. Each of the beasts was longer than 4 meters, all of them looking ferocious and berserk. They clearly had no rationality or will, only attacking without giving a heed to their lives.

In instant little bolts of lightning appeared around the halberds of demons and their armors shone with a brownish yellow light. Beasts leaped towards the soldiers, releasing maddened roars and screams. But it was no use against the demons. The moment a beast entered the fray, it would be butchered like a pig in seconds. Without an exception, each beast carried burn wounds on their huge bodies. Even though beasts were destroyed in a minute, Kong didn't look even a bit upset.

Actually, he had a small smile on his lips. Before Demon Lord could comprehend the reason why Kong was smiling, wails rang out of the army. They were filled with pain and anguish. Another Demon Lord shouted with horror''Cursed Blood! Don't let any of the blood touch you!''Demon Lord looked at Kong with an antagonizing gaze, his eyes burning with anger.'Paladin my ass! Curses were taboo, even among some of the evil gods. Because they were way too vicious. Cursed Blood was a fairly simple one but its effects were horrifying. Just a drop of it was enough to turn all of the flowing blood to an acidic liquid that could turn insides of even a 3rd rank to a bloody mess. Ruh frowned, locking his gaze to Kong.'I knew humans were a merciless bunch of murderers, but I didn't think they would be this cruel.'He remembered the words of Osborn and became more convinced that Osborn tried to manipulate him.

Back at the east gate fight of mages continued like a show of lights. Hundreds of spells met in midair and created explosions enough to shake everything in the area. Earth was filled with various marks and wounds. Some parts were frozen, some corroded. There were several burnt marks and some flames were still scorching the place they hit. In front of the sorcerers stood a giant like a demon.

She had a pitch black hair longer than herself and a vicious face.2 horns sprouted from the top of her head, looking like they could pierce the skies. A dark aura surrounded her and 5 skeletal bones sprouting from the left side of her back made her look like a death god. In her hands was a long staff shaped like a coiling snake. At top of the staff was the head of a dragon, it's 2 eyes white and black.

Dragon's eyes started to glow with black and white light, blinding nearby people. Even people from the city could see it's brightness clearly.''Get ready!''A cute voice rang out from the ferocious demon's mouth. Even though it was very weird, no one dared to laugh or ridicule. She was the greatest sorceress among Demons and leader, Demon King, of this army. Without waiting for other sorcerers' response, she directly slammed her staff to the ground.

Earth started to quake and deep crevices appeared on the ground. Earth split and started to move like a wavy sea.8000 armored demons started to move in unison and circled the sorcerers. With a huge sound, all earth started to rise like gravity was no more there. All earth 500 meters around Sorceress started to float like balloons, the huge hills were no exception. Sorceress lifted her staff and the last earth piece they were standing rose like the others.

Mages in the city were unsure what was happening, so strengthened the barrier. Right now 3000 mages were controlling the barrier, it's strength able to take a blow from a 3rd class hero! Even so, it was way too draining for them. Each minute piles of Mana Crystals were used and reserves accumulated for years upon years were used. Yet, no one was worried about it. Because there was another reserve at least 3 times more than Holy army had.

From the moment Sorceress used the strange spell, other sorcerers already started to chant a spell. Chaotic battle of mages was now in a deadlock, everyone waiting for the move of Sorceress, other than mages in the city.

''Arch-Mages!''Shouted Arachne queen, who already left the side of Kong to control eastern gate. In an instant, 9 people appeared beside her. Each of them had auras more mysterious than ancient books. They were Arch-Mages, people at the peak of their respective major magic.

''This will be tough, Let's get to work immediately.''Without even talking all of them started to chant. An ancient aura appeared, like a beast was awakening from a long, long slumber.2 pairs of eyes appeared in the air, coldly gazing towards the Arch-Mages. This was a familiar eye to Emperor Grim met, it was the eye of Magic God.

She was currently waiting for Arch-Mages to complete the magic. It was not destruction, which was a type of magic she didn't have any authority on it nor Creation, a magic she was completely unfamiliar. Slowly, a vortex appeared behind Arch-Mages. Its size was half of the Eastern walls, covering everyone's sight.

Vortex swirled at an extreme speed, it's speed alone enough to shred everyone under 4th rank to pieces. Even 3rd ranks would have a hard time surviving,2nd ranks can face fatal danger. Sorceress looked at the vortex, her mind was calm like she knew the outcome. Suddenly, an uneasy feeling grasped Arachne Queen's heart. Slowly, a huge bloody hand appeared from the vortex.

Just arm's aura was enough to rival someone between 2nd rank and hero realm. A huge voice rang out of the vortex and shook the distant hills.''Which mortal dares to summon me, Blood Devil?!'' Sorceress smiled at this sight, no worry could be seen on her face. Arch-mages' faces were pale because of the used power as they are standing a bit shaky. Yet their eyes blazed with determination.

In an instant, all sorcerers finished chanting and a huge boom echoed through the whole battlefield. The huge earth mass demons were standing was now a flaming meteor, it's flames even melting the ground and nearby floating earth pieces. Yet none of the people standing on meteor got any damage from flames.

''Human mages, this is your end!''Cute voice of Sorceress sounded, making other sorcerers smirking towards humans. Sorceress lifted her staff and waved it towards the city. In an instant, the meteor let out a boom and flew like a star, crashing towards the walls!

''GO! BLOOD DEVIL!''Arch-mages shouted with gritted teeth from burden and pain. Arch-Mages coughed blood as The arm of Blood Devil reached out towards the incoming meteor. Hand was at least quarter size of the flying meteor, looking quite small in front of it. Yet hand's aura was two times stronger than Meteor! Ancient aura of arm shook everything near and destroyed the floating earth and disintegrated everything on its path.

As hand was going to crash to Meteor, Sorceress shouted with all the power she got.''Magic God, Your promise!''The moment her words ended, the world seemingly froze. Not even Ruh could lift his head, his heart filled with disbelief and fear. Even the flying spells and projectiles froze. life seemed it was completely absent from this place.

A small light appeared on the pair of eyes and fell towards the huge arm. Without any difficulty, light cut through the arm like butter and disappeared. Blood Devil screamed at his dimension, anger of his hand being cut making him crazy. Yet it didn't blame any of it to Magic God. All beings like him, who lived in alternate dimensions, had signed a contract with Magic God. She had the right to stop any spell and conjuration she wanted, while they had the chance to resurface at Chaos World once again.

'I'LL KILL THAT HUMANS!!''

Back at the battlefield, the pair of eyes looked towards Sorceress with a strange glint and disappeared. The instant eye was gone, time started to flow again and everything descended into chaos. Unprepared people were directly hit by the incoming spells and projectiles, while prepared ones survived in the nick of time.

Arch-Mages at the walls collapsed like stringless dolls in a pool of blood. To use a God Level Conjuration magic, they even spent some of their refined mana and took a very huge burden. And their magic was rejected by Magic God herself, taking another backlash from interrupted magic. Their life was probably at the end, if not dead. This was a huge blow to eastern gate, leaving them helpless.

Arachne Queen sent a glare towards the heavens then towards Sorceress. There was only 1 way to gain the favor of Magic God. It was to sacrifice huge amounts of mage, warlock or sorcerer. This was the same for near to all of the Gods. All of them wanted people to sacrifice something. And it was clear which of the 3 methods Demons used. This also explained the recent kidnapping and murders of high-rank mages in 10 years.

''They are coming!''Arachne Queen shouted while leaping towards incoming meteor. Sorceress grasped her staff and flew towards incoming Arachne Queen, sending a 20-meter big Fireball. Arachne Queen frowned and opened her mouth. Tens of thousands of silk appeared and turned into a huge net. Fireball directly slammed towards the net and bounced. It directly flew back with the same speed it came towards the meteor.

In the instant Fireball bounced a huge shadow appeared behind meteor. Sorceress looked wide-eyed at the sea of spiders that swallowed the meteor. Flames of meteor continuously burnt the spiders but for each spider, another 5 came. It was like an endless wave. When fireball got closer a huge gap appeared at the place where meteor stood. Incoming sorcerers saw the fireball and directly condensed a huge barrier, completely surrounding Meteor.

Fireball directly passed through the gap and slammed towards Meteor. Spiders directly swarmed towards the Meteor like a sea. With a huge boom, a pillar of fire burnt everything in its way and pierced through the sea of spiders. Area of Fireball was very huge, to the point of before Spiders could reach all of them were burnt to the ashes. Yet, Because Spiders continuously covered the meteor by flooding on it, so it wasn't possible to see it's situation.

Even so, Arachne Queen looked shocked. Sorceress smiled widely, looking at Arachne Queen with ridicule. Suddenly, a huge boom shook every mountain and hill nearby and a wave of fire spread out of the pillar of fire.''What kind of a magic is this?!''In a matter of seconds, the wave of fire spread further than 5 kilometers and burnt everything, not even sparing the remaining spiders underground. Even the fight between Ruh's army and Main Gate was interrupted by the sea of flames

''MY CHILDREN!''Arachne Queen let out a shrill scream and her eyes turned red. To her, every type of Arachne was her children. Her own blood and flesh. Her instincts gone berserk from the pain of losing her children, turning her into an insane beast.''I WILL KILL YOU, I WILL KILL YOUUUUU!!''

Sorceress's body trembled. She was a Demon King and a 3rd class Hero as well. Her expertise at magic could be counted as a peak in this continent, yet she felt a tiny bit of fear because of the berserk aura radiating from the Spider Queen. She couldn't understand it, what was the reason? She started to feel the same thing Demon King of West felt when he fought with Cartman, a strange sense of inferiority.

Yet there was a distinct difference, She had such a trump card that even a God would be interested. Current Arachne Queen was not like her usual self, calm and collected, but completely berserk. With a shrill scream, she directly leaped towards Sorceress while opening her mouth wide. Calming down the fear she felt from Arachne Queen, Sorceress lifted her staff and spoke.

''This staff of mine is called Eternal Rest. Two lights on the dragon's eyes represent life and death. Sadly, it can only see death on your body.''Aura of Sorceress rose multiple folds as the dark light of Dragon Skull shone more and more.''As for the name, you can guess it after leaving here!''With a shout, a huge dragon roar rang from the staff.

In mid-air, a Dragon's shadow appeared. It looked majestic and mighty, it's 2 eyes looking strange. With a roar, Dragon disappeared like a flash and directly passed through Arachne Queen's body. Then with the same speed appeared right next to Sorceress. Dragon Let out a burp and gazed towards Sorceress. Sorceress looked pained but still released her grip on the staff. Dragon's shadow entered the skull and signs of teleportation appeared around it. Without a sound or flashy light, a small rune appeared in the air and devoured the staff, leaving nothing behind.

Arachne Queen froze in mid-air, looking like a statue. Her red eyes were now blank, her body which trembled from anger stopped even the tiniest bit of movement it had. Slowly, her body fell from the air and crashed to the ground with a thud.No explosion, no move nor any fierce struggle.

In just a split second, without any resistance, Arachne Queen's soul was devoured.
