Cartman moved his spear at lightning speed, sending a stab filled with boundless power. Mounted Demon King Laughed with madness, his mount roared in frenzy. With an upwards slash, Demon King stopped Cartman's attack but at the same time, his mount directly slammed on Cartman's body. Before mount could make any damage, a fierce glint appeared in Cartman's eyes and countless light dots spread out like stars.

''Star Collapse!''Screaming in his heart, Cartman slammed his spear once more towards Demon King. Demon King stood with his same insane expression. He lifted his crimson red spear as his spear let out a shrill hum. Cartman felt his mind being affected, but it was only for an instant. Even so, that instant was enough for Demon King.

''Die!''Roaring with madness, Demon King swept his spear like a mighty beast. Two spears collided with a deafening boom and shockwaves destroyed the local flora. A huge crater appeared and several deep cracks appeared. Light dots started to fall down like meteors, slamming and crashing to earth. Huge whirlwinds rose, air screamed.

''Captain is holding him, Let's go!''One of the 2 vice-captains said. In a moment, the group split and became 2 groups of 128.''Spear Formation!''Vice captains shouted. In a moment, with vice-captains at the lead, everyone lined up in a order. When looked from above, they seemed like a spear. Vice captains aura slightly increased, buffing other people in the formation as well.

''Middle Elemental!''Vice-captain of left said once more. With Vice captains order, the group started to condense balls of light, fire, water and several more elements.''Hold!''Holding an elemental ball in one hand, gripping their spears tightly in the other, they continued their rush. In several seconds, both sides were only away a bit more than 40 meters.

''Fire!''When Vice Captain's shout sounded,128 elemental magic flew towards the army of demons. It was like an exquisite art piece, the sky painted with motes of light. With the order of Demon Lord, who have replaced the Mad Demon King, thousands of spears flew towards the group. Magic and Spears collided in the air and exploded like a firework. Each ball was sending a destructive aura much more powerful than 100 spears could do, showing their powers. More than half of the spears were blocked, only ten or so balls surviving among the assault.

2 balls smashed into a high-rank demon, blasting a huge hole near his shoulder and waist. When Beast sensed its master was dead, its eyes turned blood red and rushed in a frenzy, it's power and speed increased.''Aim for beasts!''Vice-captain directly understood the reason as a veteran. These beasts were most likely contracted. When their master dies, they would also die, not the other way. But it would take some good 5 minutes for it to die. So it wanted to get a revenge on them for ending it's and it's master's life.

''Fellows, Let's pierce through their 7 Generations!''All the guards let out shouts and collided with the enemy army. Wherever Guards went, demons would fly like kittens and blood would spray like a river. But this was way too reckless, even for berserk Demons. In no time, they were encircled by thousands of demons. Looking towards the group surrounding them, captain chuckled and gazed at his fellow man once more.

''LET'S DIE TOGETHER!''Shouted Vice-captain and directly pierced through the crowd. Each soldier made the same move, slipping like butter through crowd randomly. Demon Lords, who were leading the encirclement felt a sense of impending doom.''RETREAT!''

But his words were too late. Instantly,128 light beams appeared and pierced through the crowd. When guards inside the encirclement saw the lights, they rushed towards them with an insane speed. Demon lords could see that these points were where hidden experts stood.4 demon Lord acted without thinking and directly rushed towards the guards, intending to kill them.

''You don't go anywhere!''Suddenly,2nd Captain with his fellow guards appeared, Blocking the way of Demon Lords and high-rank demons. Demon lords were feeling anxious and hatred at the same time. As they continued their fighting, Leading Demon Lord appeared next to Vice Captain.''PREPARE TO DIE!''With a shout, Demon Lord sent a wave of dark mana and slammed it to Vice Captain's chest.

As Demon Lord was going to back off for one more attack, Vice-captain reached out with his hands and grasped the wrist of Demon Lord.''Heh, why would I sacrifice my pitiful life for worthless trash?!''Hearing the chuckling of Vice Captain, Demon Lord directly figured out, he was deceived.''DAMN!''

Huge explosions happened at the same time. Pillars of light rose from the earth, taking shapes of beautiful flowers. The more flower bloomed, the more radius of explosion increased. People inside the city, who were dealing with East army as well as Ruh's army, stopped for a moment to gaze at these flowers. They were beautiful, lone, pitiful. There was a deep sorrow hidden behind their appearance, a desire to live. Yet, that desire was completely suppressed by the bravery and honor. Honor to die for people. Bravery to embrace death.

Cartman gazed at these flowers, his eyes looking bloodshot.''I'll come sooner, just wait.''He spoke softly. Then turned his gaze towards the Demon King. Demon King was completely dumbfounded, waves of shock battered his heart. From the army of 10000 Mad Demons, only a few hundred was left. And they were now being butchered by remaining 60 guards or so. Number advantage meant nothing before utmost strength! There was no hope for them.

Feeling rage and depression of letting down his Emperor, Demon King directly turned around and sent a stab with his spear. Spear left trails in the air and let out a small hum like a vengeful spirit's screech. Cartman directly put his spear in front of him and blocked the fierce attack with a straight back.

''HUMAN!''Demon King screamed, his face flushed, eyes bloodshot, his nostrils letting out white steams of anger. All of the rage and depression was now turned towards this man in front of him, Cartman! If not for Cartman's demeanor or his interruption, Demon King could save his fellow men. Demon King chose to stay blind towards the fact that he was the rash one, wishing to go wild with a fierce fight.

Leaping like a tiger towards Cartman, Demon King directly swept his spear with an incredible power. Cartman acted fast and directly slid while lowering his body, stabbing his spear upwards at the same time. Twisting His body in a strange way, Demon King evaded the stab and kicked the ground. Cartman slipped under him like a snake, leaving a huge stomp mark behind.

Without ceasing, Demon King turned around and released a huge roar. When roar was released, a powerful repulsive force appeared, nearly destroying Cartman's balance. Stabbing his spear to the ground, Cartman stopped himself from being sent backward. Hundreds of light dots appeared behind him, flying around like flies.

Even so, they were not affected by the repulsive force of roar. In an instant, all of them turned into spears of light and directly shot towards the Demon King, who have stopped roaring.''INSOLENT!''With a stomp, a huge earth wall wider than 30 meters rose and blocked all light spears. As spears were blocked Demon King felt his instincts screaming and without waiting for any result he sent a punch towards the earth wall.

Wall exploded with a boom and rubbles shot like bullets outside. Expecting this outcome, Cartman created a simple barrier around him. Rubbles didn't affect him in the slightest, dust couldn't cover his sight. Without any flashy move, he slammed his spear like a pole to Demon King's chest. Demon King covered his chest with a mystic rune and took all brunt of the attack. From the force of the attack, Rune was completely shattered and only %30 of the attack's power reached Demon King.

Even so, it was enough to send him a or two steps back. Demon King's heart was filled with a sense of impending doom. There was something wrong about this situation. Their powers were near to equal, and he should have been much more powerful because of his body. Yet, this human was making his instincts crazy. How was this possible? Demon king was angry beyond, his emotions flowing like an unrestrained river but he was still rational. He was not a fool to lose all control in a fight.

He didn't live for thousands of years for nothing, he struggled and fought for a chance to live and stand on all. He may not be intelligent, but he had plenty of experience. He knew there was definitely no way for him to gain upper hand against this human. So, he directly chose to retreat. With quick steps, Demon King left towards Ruh's army while sending thousands of tendrils of Dark Mana.

Cartman's eyes turned grim and without giving any heed to poisonous tendrils, shot towards Demon King. Without stopping, he created thousands upon thousands of light balls and weapons. He sent each of them flying towards Demon King, all in one hope to make him stop for an instant. Demon King created a dark barrier to use the momentum of strikes to go further. But Cartman also knew his intention so only attacked from sides, giving no chance to Demon King.

''Captain!''Several shouts echoed from a bit away and several figures appeared. From the group of 256, only 13 was left alive. Corpses of Demon Lords and high-rank demons lay like a waste in the battlefield.''Only 1 second!''He said. All guards' eyes were filled with strange glints. Without any hesitation, all of them turned towards one man in their group.

The man looked at them with a pained expression but still nodded. Other 12 put him in front of them and placed their hands on man's back. In several moments,2nd rank man's aura changed and reached to a new boundary. It was not the hero realm, yet close to it. The others at man's back smiled one last time and turned into dust, disappearing from the world.

The man clenched his fists and with a boom shot out towards the Demon King. When Demon King saw he was going to be cornered by 2 people, he left all hopes to retreat.''FOR THE EMPEROR!''With a strong roar, Demon King's figure turned from 2.5 meters to 20 meters. He looked like a real giant, but that was it. Everything other than his length was way too different from Giants.

''ICAROS!''Cartman shouted and retreated with a incredible speed. Icaros, the incoming man also started to retreat to a safe distance. But then gritted his teeth and directly shot towards Demon King.''STOP!''Cartman shouted but Icarus didn't listen. If Demon King stopped self-destructing and escaped, that outcome would be the worst one. Without thinking a bit about his life, he directly created a huge battle ax and grasped its handle.

''HAH!''With a shout, Icaros swept the Battle ax towards the Demon King's chest.''Then so be it!''Demon King said with depression, then closed his eyes. Icaros directly cut Demon King in half, splitting his body into 2 parts. Looking towards Cartman, whose eyes were bloodshot, Icaros smiled, just like his other fellow Guards. Demon King's body exploded with a boom, and all traces of Icaros was cleared.

A huge whirlwind rose to the skies, just touch of it enough to cut hills clean. Whirlwind's power was so strong even Cartman could feel himself being pulled towards it. Incoming Demon Lords also witnessed the sight, which left them quite shocked. Without giving them any chance, Cartman flew towards the city and entered like a flash.

He directly landed on the headquarters of Guards. Kong and Others were busy to stop attacks from other armies, mages at the walls suppressing their injuries to stand still and protect the shield. Feeling the strand on Mages, Another 1000 appeared and directly took their places with a perfect sync.

Retreated mages sat in meditation to restore their mana while tens of adventurers healed their injuries. At the main gate, long-range adventurers were slowing down the army of Ruh. Yet there were only several casualties. Heavy armors of Ruh's soldiers were enchanted with a Projectiles protection, making low-level attacks ineffective and reducing the impact of high-level ones. It was very troublesome.
