He was the most powerful and old one among these phoenixes, leave alone the defeated Phoenix. The gap in power was too wide. If not for the overlord's observation they would have already killed each other for dominance.

''Do you have a death wish?!''Strongest Phoenix said as it's expression was filled with wrath.''Do you think you are strong? This little chicken is only a child, it doesn't even know how to properly use its body.''With each sentence of Phoenix, pressure radiating from its body increased.

Hearing Grim's words, Phoenix felt very indignant. There were some pillars on his way that couldn't react in time, being crushed under Grim's flying body.

Phoenix's eyes glittered with uncertainty but didn't pursue Grim. It turned it's head towards the 7 figure behind him, gazing at them with a killing intent. With the exception of 1, all other phoenixes shuddered and bowed their heads.''Hmph.''Snorting, strongest Phoenix turned its gaze towards the first Phoenix,who was lying listlessly.

''You were the most favored of the mother, but still disappointed her. It's my right as your eldest brother to take your position.''The first Phoenix let out a weak cry, filled with hate.''No matter how much you complain, this won't change.''This time, First Phoenix let out a louder cry, anger with pride evident from its tone.

''Your words are only empty, they have no meaning nor effect. Let me end your suffering.''Phoenix said and approached First Phoenix.

But before it could move, a small boom sound echoed out from his side. It directly turned it's gaze towards the source and saw a small body coming towards them at a high speed.''Hmph, you think you can get me with low tricks like this!''Feeling disdain towards this human, Phoenix let out a cry and opened its mouth.

Inside its mouth stood an ice crystal, bigger than the one First Phoenix made.''Die!''With a cry, Phoenix sent crystal flying towards Grim with a incredible speed. Winds screamed and snow parted in front of the crystal, leaving a clear trail behind.

Grim locked his gaze to the incoming crystal. Then took a deep breath. Strangely, the moment he took that breath world seemed like it was slowing down. Grim could clearly see how snow fell, how listless Phoenix looked at the other 8 with killing intent, the crystal's surface and it's route.

Then with a huff, he let out the breath. Time returned back to its normal speed like nothing happened, but Phoenix felt something was off. Phoenix raised it's guard up, but it was futile. The moment Crystal appeared in front of him, Grim moved like a water, sliding under it. But before Crystal could get past him, Grim raised his hand and grasped it with all of his force.

Phoenix widened its eyes at the speed of the human, but it didn't have any chance to admire. Grim used the same speed as before and bent his spine like a bow. He directly pierced ground with his legs, stomping like a giant. All of his muscles let out booms and his bones made cracking sounds, but Grim ignored all of it. With the last push, he used all power of his fleshly body and sent the ice crystal towards Phoenix.

It was coming much faster than before, directly piercing through everything in its way. Phoenix didn't hesitate and directly flapped its wings, flying towards skies. But the moment it flew, Phoenix realized something.''He is not aiming at me?!''

Ice crystal directly flew towards the other 7 Phoenixes,who were watching the fight with interest. But the sudden attack caught them off guard.All of them directly flew towards different ways, but one of them couldn't. It was the weakest of the 7, who was trying to escape with all of its might.

With a sharp sound, Ice crystal pierced through Phoenix's chest, then it's head and continued its way. Ice crystal lost a great deal of its strength, so strongest phoenix directly descended and destroyed it with a claw attack. Phoenixes turned their gaze towards their fellow member, who was lying down in a pool of blood. Poor Phoenix didn't even have a chance to activate pillar's function to escape, so this was the end for it.

''HUMAN!''Strongest Phoenix was enraged, sending a sharp cry that reverberated in Grim's ears like thunder. Grim wielded his sword, which was covered in black flames. With a step, Grim directly rushed towards the re-assembled Phoenix group who had only 6 left. Strongest Phoenix directly flew towards Grim, anger and killing intent spreading out like a wildfire out of its eyes. Even so, it didn't lose rationality.

No matter how strong its body was, Phoenix knew that black flames were too dangerous. Even though it was way too much stronger than the First Phoenix, Their body state was pretty much close. With these thoughts in mind, Phoenix opened its wings wide. In an instant, all feathers on its wings turned into bright crystals. Grim knitted his brows but not only he didn't stop, he also increased his speed.

Like a whirlwind, Grim ran through the snowy land. Phoenix was closing towards him at a high speed, while the ones at the back were preparing strange skills. Then with a grunt, Grim used a trick he didn't use for a long time. Invisible mana slowly gathered at his feet, swirling like a whirlwind. With each moment whirlwind increased in both speed and power, becoming more and more remarkable. Then with a thought, the whirlwinds exploded, sending Grim flying like a rocket.

Phoenix was already expecting Grim to make a strange move. Even so, what it didn't expect was the increase in the amount of speed. Grim appeared like a flash, then disappeared. When Phoenix turned it's head around, it saw Grim grasping the heads of the 2 Phoenix. Both of them were the weakest of the group as well, only slightly weaker than the first Phoenix.

Before it could utter a cry, Grim used another mana blast and left the place instantly. Strongest Phoenix wanted to chase after Grim, but before it could go further several roars shook the dimension. All Phoenix turned their heads towards the sky, looking at the huge and majestic figures.

There were 4 grayscaled dragons. There were some wisps of mist around them other than a smaller one. Their tails lashed wildly as they gazed with fierce looks towards the Phoenix group. But what intimidated Phoenixes was the leading person. It had pitch black scales just like the night itself, deep purple eyes looking eerie and powerful at the same time and 2 horns that could pierce through everything.

''Looks like some little chicken forgot who is their ruler, huh?''

After confirming he was away from the Phoenix Group a great deal, Grim stopped and slammed the 2 Phoenix to the ground. The moment he slammed them, several hundreds of crystals flew from their body at high speeds, threatening to pierce Grim's body.

But Grim was prepared. At the same moment Crystals flew, he took out a grand shield. The shield was like a grand door, wider than 5 meters. All crystals slammed on Shield, destroying it to the bits. But Grim managed to block them. After escaping from Grim's grasp, both Phoenix retreated at high speeds.

One of them let out a ridicule filled Cry, telling Grim that he was overestimating himself. They could see Grim didn't have any ounce of mana, and his physical body was very tired. He couldn't last long at this state, so Phoenix was confident at being able to survive.

Before replying their cry, Grim sent a small message to Arihan, asking if anyone was watching him from outside. After confirming all eyes were on the Maira and others, he relaxed.''You know, I'm the weakest here.''Phoenixes were quite confused. What was this human talking about?

But their confuse was replaced to shock in an instant. They could feel all mana around here being sucked wildly into Human's body. But if it was only a small amount, they wouldn't be so surprised.The reason was, they felt that overall mana around them was diminishing at an incredible speed. Was this guy suicidal?

With a thought, he infused all the mana he gathered to his sword. Black flames started to increase in both size and power and continued at an amazing speed.

In no time, black flames turned into a wild whirlwind that even destroyed air. But this was not the end. Flames continued to grow, becoming something like a deep abyss. When one looked at them, it was like they were staring at a bottomless well, there was only eternal darkness.

From the moment flames reached to the whirlwind point, Phoenixes already started to escape. But they could still feel the fierce aura of flames behind them. Without turning around, they knew they were going to die. So without hesitating, they turned around and released 2 cries.

Their bodies started to increase in size and all feathers turned into crystals. With the last push, both of them started to swirl around the other in harmony, increasing the freezing aura. But all of their efforts were futile.

Grim gripped his sword with both of his hands. He realized a mistake when he attacked the first Phoenix with flames. He just let the flames go wild, not using their potential right. So this time, he used his own will to suppress the flames around the sword. Right now, the ordinary white blade of the sword was completely black. Grim could feel sword slowly melting under the intense flames, so he didn't hesitate anymore and stepped forward.

Using the last bits of his power from Chaotic Physique, Grim increased his speed. A giant phantom appeared behind him, shouting towards the 2 Phoenix.Phoenixes also replied with a fierce cry, directly rushing towards the incoming Grim. Grim's whole body was covered by steam, covering his body. Even so, it was possible to see a black light flowing inside the white steam.

''HAAAAAAAAAAA!''Shouting with Giant together, Grim leaped and sent a slash towards the incoming phoenixes. Phoenixes directly collided with the slash and sent a huge boom. Tens of pillars were completely burned, while others were directly slashed down like a butter. Blacklight continued its way for 20 meters then dissipated, leaving some small embers of black flame. Even so, they didn't show any sign of dying down under the freezing aura and snow.

After looking that there was nothing left behind from phoenix's bodies, he sighed. He should have held back a little to collect their corpse. They were still very precious after all. He directly sat with exhaustion. He used near to all of his physical power so he couldn't fight anymore.Then, once more, Grim sighed at his situation. After complaining about how unhealthy it was to constantly sigh, Grim turned his attention to the far away, where most of the pillars were gathered.

There were constant booms as well as terrifying screams and shrieks. He could hear the pain filled Cries of phoenixes and fierce roars filled with anger. He even saw a mist skeleton with a deep red scythe cut down a phoenix, which was trying to escape. There was even a huge pillar of flame rising from the ground, piercing the clouds. He heard a terrifying scream filled with pain and anguish.

But most shocking was Maira. Grim even heard her voice from the place he sat. He heard a song that boiled his blood and gave a deep sense of fear, then a huge crack appeared on the sky. Inside the crack was countless stars as well as boundless void, a shocking sight to see. A huge hand, painted with colors of stars and void, appeared from the crack and directly crushed the whole pillars, destroying everything in its way. He was sure this attack was way above his league. He couldn't even fight it with his spirit weapon. Or so he thought.

This was the ancient magic Maira got from Ghost King, Dimension Breaker. She wasn't even close to using it's potential fully, let alone mastering it. Even so, it was way too powerful. Ancient magics were quite strong, qualified for their reputation. Grim, once more, sighed with frustration. He could dominate everyone other than Maira if they were in humanoid forms, but it drastically changed when they were at their true form.

''I'm sighing way too much. Hanging out with these guys are bad for my health.''Sighing once more, Grim stood up and waved his hands towards the incoming group. Feeling the strange gazes of Maira and others, Grim looked down at his chest.

There were several crystals stabbed in his chest. He looked dumbly, then directly took them out. After he took them out , surprisingly,no blood gushed out.''Done!''Grim said and clapped his hands twice.
