Evading a big claw with a roll,Kanene used her arms and like doing a break dance,sent whirlwind like kicks everywhere.Every clone made from darkness were being destroyed by her flurry of kicks.With a push,she jumped into air and fell graciously to the ground.

Adrien looked at her strangely.'Is this guy angry or calm?I can't understand it'She couldn't understand anything from the gaze of Adrien.He didn't looked angry nor confused.All he gave her was a strange gaze,then sending another copies made from his dark magic.Even though she wasn't a perfect counter to him,like light or holy magic,she was still using wind,so it was not possible for him or his copies to hit her.

She didn't waited for them to come and darted herself.With a punch,she destroyed the copy in front of her.After destroying it,she jumped slightly to evade the kick of copy.She fell to the leg of the copy and using her whole weight on it,the leg of copy was dispersed.Before giving it a chance,she grabbed his shoulders and pulled him closer while she sent her knee to his face.With a splay,his head was smashed and completely destroyed.

In theory,Dark clones were entities made from mana,so they shouldn't die unless their mana depleted.But Adrien's case was different.He found a way to place small cores which could absorb mana from surroundings to keep them alive much more longer than normal.But it's weakness was that core also gathered all the mana of entity at inside of it.So if one were to destroy it,the clone would just die.

After destroying the copy,Kanene sent a kick at her back,and punched while turning,sending the copy flying through the arena.Copy fell to the ground 5 meters away from her.It was at the merge of being destroyed.Without caring it,she rushed towards Adrien.Even though both of them were 7th rank,People working at magic had greater amounts of mana than normal warriors.So it was not possible to wary him out.

Adrien sent another 4 clones to restrain her and retreated a bit.When she saw Adrien retreating again,she got angrier.This guy was always running around like that.'Just come at me bro!'Kanene was yelling at her heart.She just leaped over a copy and kicked the one behind it,and using the same head as a stepping stone,bounced back towards the other copy,sending another kick to the side of its head.

With a thud,the head of the 1st copy fell of while the 2nd one's core was crushed by the first kick.She landed to the ground again but this time didn't stop and directly rushed towards the 2 copy.One of the copies leapt towards her while swiping down with it's claw,while the other one lowered itself and slashed upwards with it's sword.She didn't panicked and with a sudden increase of speed,leaped at the middle of them.As their attacks missed their mark,both of the copies suddenly felt a force blowing them towards sky and ground respectively.

As both copies also disappeared,Kanane turned her head towards Adrien and she was directly dumbstruck.'ARE YOU SERİOUS!'She was trying to not scream outright.At one hand of Adrien a deep black hole was standing,absorbing the mana from surrondings and transferring it to the spear he was holding at the other side,which was growing more and more stronger.

Kanane knew she couldn't let him complete it,so using her mana,she created 2 little whirlwinds at her feet and rushed towards him.With her every step,Whirlwinds would blast and send her at incredible speeds towards her target.She didn't want to use it right now because not only it was a burden for her body,it was also consuming way too much mana.Every move she made was supplied by her wind spells,which was the reason she dared to face off that copies.But she couldn't go head on against that spear.

While frantic Kanane was rushing,the black hole at Adrien's left hand disappeared.He lifted her right hand,which was now holding a gigantic spear.No matter how much he tried,he couldn't make it smaller nor compress it,or it's power and speed would be enchanced greatly.With a sigh,He bent over like a bow,took a heavy step and threw it right at the Kanane.

Spear flew like a bolt of lightning,slightly shaking the arena tiles it passed while aura of darkness in it was gradually increasing.Kanane couldn't dodge it at this current speed,so she had to counter it.But she was excelled in speed,not power.Then what should he do?As she was thinking,she saw the air parting in front of the spear.

She directly stopped and created another 2 whirlwinds at her hands,and sent them directly at her right,and within another second,created 2 more and sent them towards the same place.As spear was coming closer to her,she snapped her fingers,and whirlwinds exploded towards the black spear.

A strong wind current filled the whole arena.Clothes of the Adalwolfa,Aeneas and Echo were fluttering because of the wind,which also caused the situation to be chaotic.Echo and Adalwolfa couldn't see what happened.But then a sound rang out like an explosion.

*BOOM*

With the energy of explosion,the wind storm was cleared and a 5 meter long deep dark scorch was left at the tiles.Standing 2 meter at it's right was Kanane,smiling smugly.But even before she could talk,she saw another spear coming at her.Even though this was only as powerful as half of the first one,it was still enough to injure the depleted Kanane badly.

''I surrender!''She shouted.After the split second she shouted,A firey red light shot the spear and directly dissipated it.''It's Adrien's win''Said Aeneas and beckoned them to get out of the arena.Kanane was feeling upset because she couldn't show off the skills she got to a Dryflame,while Adrien was worried about Kanane,wondering did he hurt her.His affinity with dark was a really strange situation.Most of the people with Dark affinity were evil from the birth,even though there were some exceptions they were not like the Adrien,they just didn't kill for fun that's all.

''That was a good fight.Both of you were pretty strong,even among your peers.''Aeneas praised them when he saw the looks on their faces.But he couldn't help but worry.'There is too many talented people at this era.Don't tell me it's time for another?'But he just threw them at the back of his head.He just had to teach these childs in front of thim.Even if it was the time,he still had responsibilities to do.

''First,Kanane''Aeneas said.She looked at her firmly,waiting for him to explain.''The first thing is,you are not even using the wind magic.You are a close range,so it's much important than physical strength for you.You have enchanted your speed with it,True.But the thing you are forgotting is,Wind also can be very wild.Just like your last whirlwind strike.You can use it on your fists or legs to increase the damage while also protecting from the damage.As for your fighting style,you are good and experienced,but you can't beat a close range peer of yours with that tactics.Most of your moves are related to use the crowd for your own attacks.But if there is only one person,most of your combos will be unusable.There is a book at the library,''6 Ways Of Elements''You might as well as read it to gain some inspiration.''

''There is one last thing.Just like Adrien have done,you can also try to compress the spells you create to increase their power.As Wind is only second at the speed,You need to increase your attack power.It may seem like I'm just repeating the summary of the things i said.But it's not the same thing.Of course enchanting would increase your power and defence at the same time with low cost of mana.But still,it's an active skill.You still need to spend mana for it,which means you can't fight for a long period of time with a direct close range warrior.Rather than only enchanting you should also focus on some long range attacks.They don't need to be powerful.They just have to be fast.Fast enough to pierce everything in their way.With enough speed,you can also gain power.

Kanane nodded and thanked to him.She then just collapsed like a filled sack and lied there.She was too exhausted after all.But her gaze were determined.She didn't know how much time she lose but there would definietly a way to beat Adrien.Then Aeneas called Adrien and told him to come over.He was just standing right next to him when she spoke Kanene,but he just disappeared when talk was done.

''Now,i don't have much experience about Dark magics.But i fought with a 2nd rank demon once who used dark magic,i can only explain some things i understood from him.''And he pointed to his left shoulder,which didn't have any arm connected to it.It was at that time they figured out he didn't have a left arm.Aeneas was wearing some thick clothes,even if it was the late summer it looked strange,and always kept his right hand behing him,so it wasn't obvious for them.

''He used Dark magic to do 2 things.First one,he could transform it to other elements,which i think you can try to do it because it's not an innate ability or secret tecnique of demons,rather a thing one needs to learn by himself.If you can i suggest you to transform it to holy magic.2 opposites may conflict sometimes,but it can also act as a way of self defense against the counter of yours.Of course this is not a neccesary goal,You can try it at your spare times.Just watch out for your safety.''

''The 2nd thing,even though they have crazily strong bodies from birth,this guy also tempered it with dark magic,turning it much stronger than a average demon's body. From the spear strike of yours,i can see you also try to increase your physical strength.But going from 2 paths at once is a ridiculously difficult thing.So you should use Dark magic to temper your own body rather than training it.Tempering your body with Dark magic will not only increase the strength of your body,it will also allow your body to hold much more mana than normal.But i must warn you,it will be very painful,and can affect your own mentality,so don't use it in near future.After graduating you can start it under the watch of a another person.''

''As for the last thing.Dark magics are evil by nature.And one of the things that make them evil is the unpredictable changes and horrifiyng aspects of it.One can turn insides of a man outside,or explode his heart without touching him,just by letting some Mist Of Devil's Pearl got inside the person.This also means,you have many,many much variation for your skills than other elements.Though you wouldn't use things like Devil's Pearl path.I can also reccomend you a book.'Traveling the Chaos Wrold'It was written by a Conjurer of Dark affinity.Not only it explains his studies on Dark magic,it also explains the various places for train,exotic places and still not fully explored dungeons.''

Adrien looked at him with gratitude and Also expressed his thanks.Experience talks many times more than just imagination.Even if he tought about the strikes he could create all day,he couldn't just create them from nothing.There had to be a shape and balance to create the appropriate magic.He decided to directly head to library after the lesson ends.

'I think i did good,right?'Aeneas was thinking in his head.He was not that nervous anymore after the a bit friendly demeanor of them.But still he was worried.If he guided them wrongly,especially Adrien,he could ruin their lives.It was all unneccesary worry at his side though.

To prevent things like that,once in a year,there would be several experts from the Realm's gate to rate the abilities and path's of students.If there was something wrong,the student would be corrected,but if he didn't want or refused it,They would spend some effort to convince them.If the other party still refused,they couldn't force it so they leave he/she to be.It was still their path's after all and academy clearly presented at the terms of accepting the student to school.So there was no complains.

After thinking a little bit,Aeneas turned towards the Echo and Adalwolfa and told them they could start fighting.Both of them got on the stage and with Aeneas's countdown,started their Spar.
