《Mana Odyssey》Chapter 5:This test is really a pain

"They keep up a pretty good fight, looks like we don't need to fight again."
"Yeah."
I just answer it with a simple answer because I sense something weird this test is to easy even if it is a wyvern usually we only need around ten soldiers to fight it on equal ground.
*PR note (I have no clue what this means lol.)*
But there is around 400 hundred people left here. We are not soldiers so it only needs around 20 people. 20 times 10 is 200 hundred. Then why he should know our number even if half of us go to take written test then there at least 300 hundred so it is 15 wyvern at least. He say the test is harder than previous test even thought i never take a test, i know this is to easy. Just what is this mean hmm.
"HEYYYYYY."
"Guah, what's wrong with you."
My ear is ringing again.
"Thats what I should be saying are you not listening to me?"
"Uh, sorry I was just in deep thinking."
"Listen okay, did you see the girl over there?"
"Which one?"
"The one that has her back against the wall, she looks like she is waiting for something to come."
There I see a girl with a Long white the reaches her waist , she is little shorter than me, she is staring the battles of the rest of the people, and there is her mana on the shoulder which looks like a serpent to me but one that is only 30 cm tall and 20cm wide. She is prepared to fight but she doesn't go fight. What Riese says is true she is waiting for something, something that require her full power.
"Hey Riese, do you know that girl?"
"Nn, her name is Shiroyuki Aolia, She is called the "Princess of serpent", her mana is ice element which is one of the rare elements.
"She is strong, her title matches her behavior too"
"I have the same feeling too looks like her title really suit her."

"Anyway lets watch out looks like there is something stronger than a normal wyvern. She feels it too."
"Don't be tense so much, let just watch for now okay."
"Nn."
Then we continue to watch the battle.
After 30 minutes the battle ends and there is only wyvern left which looks like the leader of the pack flying. It never roars once and it never attack students it just watch as the students killed the wyvern.
"Wyvern are weak aren't they, and what's wrong with that wyvern. It is just a coward whose afraid to be killed."
One of the student's mock the wyvern.
"Boss is right this wyvern is a coward."
"I think it's just afraid of our boss."
After they hear this a group of student begin to gather together to at mock the wyvern.
"Hey, why are they putting on this idiot act in front of a wyvern? Do they want to die so much?"
"Hey Riese can a wyvern a become a mana?"
"Pretty much yes all animal in the world can become our form of mana you know, why are you asking this?"
"Damn, why I don't notice it sooner so that is why it doesn't attack us."
"Meaning?"
"It is a mana not a living wyvern , it is far more dangerous than a normal wyvern."
"Ehhh, how do you know?"
"I will tell you after this, so prepare the strongest spell you can chant, I will disperse the group."
"Unn..."
Then the weird teacher that is silent until now opens his mouth and speaks.
"Oh my everyone sure is strong to defeat all of wyvern ."
"Of course this is easy as walking in the park."
"Then please defeat that wyvern if you can that is."
"Huh."
While the student who calls himself boss is wondering what he means. The wyvern open its mouth and lighting is shot out by wyvern it hits a group of students. All of the student's mana body's are instantly destroyed so they passed out.
"Oh yeah, everyone who passes out are counted as dead so they are out of the test~~~, and my mana is not kind okay do your best."
Everyone who hears this grows pale, as near one hundred student have already failed in a single attack, they are afraid the same fate will appear before them, so they just stand waiting for someone to defeat it.
That wyvern is an A rank type mana so it is that strong, this test is not easy as they think.
Even thought it is a A rank mana, I won't waver even if it is a S rank Demon I will face it.
I must defeat it.
I must pass this test.
Then I prepare to jump but the wyvern notices me. It shoots lighting again from its mouth and its even more dangerous than the previous one. It must think I am dangerous so it will go full power. I roll to the right, and it hit the ground where I was standing before and has instantly become black.
If I am hit by that my mana body will be gone for sure. Then I cast wind lance as I run, I shoot it towards the wyvern to check it's reaction speed. The wyvern instantly flaps his left wing, the wind lance passes the wyvern and hits the roof.
.........Kaboom!!! It hits the roof and a hole appears in the roof.
Ah, sorry.
As the wyvern sees my wind lances attack power, it begins to feel afraid and fly's higher until it was near the roof, but even if I jump I cannot reach the wyvern and my spell will be easily dodged.
It then open its mouth again and shoots me with lighting but this is faster than the previous one and much stronger.
I jump to the right it barely miss. So fast I cannot dodge it forever.
"HEY RIESE, ARE YOURS SPELL READY?"
"2 more minutes, I must concentrate so don't ask again."
"Good, I will seal his movement then."
I don't want to use this but I must do it .
Original wind spell:Sylph step
With this spell I can step on the air. This spell works by hardening the air so I can step on it. And I can choose when I want to step or not.
With it I can hit flying enemies.
But it require a lot of mana so I can only use it for 30 minutes at max in my best condition.
I can defeat it with other spells, but it's dangerous to the podium any further.
After I cast Sylph step I then run in the air, the wyvern seeing this reveals a shocked face, but it keeps shooting lightning, but in the air I can easy dodge them cause there is more space to dodge. Then after that I arrive in front of the wyvern where I slice the joint but is harder than I thought. So I cannot cut the wing.
Change of plans I will just make it stay still in the ground. I thrust my both sword's into it eyes at same time then while it's rampaging I cast wind sword .
It makes a sword of wind this spell is pretty weak but it holds more weight and can stay for 5 minutes so I cast 10 and shoot 5 to each wing.
Which cause the wyvern to lose its balance and fall to the ground.
But before it falls I withdraw my sword and jump back.
Then I cast another 15 wind swords to hold it down. While it is pinned down Riese spell is completed.
"Forvish, fall back."
"Un."
"Eat this Sol-Sword!!"
Then a compressed fire sword appears it then falls to the wyvern when it hits the wyvern it instantly burned it which cause it to die instantly.
The wyvern then disperses into tiny lights and vanishes.
"Hey Riese why do you shout the name of spell, it is not needed you know?"
"ckckckck cause its cooler like that."
She move her finger like mocking me. Oh well fine.
But this test is really a pain.
I don't want do it again.
But I feel another blood lust.
When I face it I see the white haired girl with her blue eyes on me.

Killstealer
Unfinished - Apologies to anyone who was reading but I have no current intentions to revisit this story Alex was stuck in a rut: He was nearing thirty, and his career seemed to be going no-where; He used to have plenty of friends at university, but had gradually lost touch with them. He had recently started using a dating site, but truthfully he never quite got over his ex. It could be worse; he didn't spend his nights wallowing in self pity. However, he had a sinking feeling that his life was going no-where fast. When Alex decided to take up an old hobby all he really was looking for was something fun to do on friday nights. Thrust into another world by a mad mage Alex must adapt quickly to survive. Unfortunately, Alex showed up late to game night and ends up stuck with a pretty mediocre character in this game like reality. Alex must learn to survive in this new world; just because it all seems like a giant game doesn't make death any less terrifying. This will be my first attempt at writing litrpg. I wanted to set myself the challenge of writing every week and I think knowing people might be reading it will motivate me. I've always worked much better with external deadlines. FAQ Why should I read this LitRPG? I am writing because I enjoy it and you should read it if you enjoy it. If I had to make an elevator pitch I would start off by saying my MC is a rogue type character, which seems a relatively uncommon character at least based on what I have read. I also strive to make the supporting cast three dimensional characters, and not just caricatures. Finally, I can't forget that this is a LitRPG so I have tried to make a RPG system with depth, and one that makes sense. How often will you release chapters? At least once a week is my goal. I am a nurse with a baby at home, so between my hospital and my baby I won't have time for more unless something dramatically changes. Will there be romance? I won't rule it out as I try to let my characters write their own stories. However, there will NEVER be a harem, it just isn't something I am interested in. Gore, Profanity, and Traumatising Content? I don't intend to have any of these present at obscene levels, but my tolerance might be different to yours. The tags are mostly there to cover me. Witchbone: The Goblins Winter
Themes found in these stories include friendship, found family, defying negative expectations, trying to figure out how to be a force for good in your corner of the world, doing heroic things even if you don't look or feel like a hero, and that being different isn't necessarily fatal. Summary: A spell of arctic weather. A mysterious death. The reading of a will. Strange tracks in the snow. Eleven-year-old Danny Hallow accepts his life, such as it is. His father is dead, his mother left years ago. His three Keepers are the only people aware of Danny's erratic and not-very-impressive psychic abilities. He has no friends, he's been suspended from school, and he's responsible for the life of a small brown bat that's ended up in his care. When Danny's estranged Uncle Enoch dies under mysterious circumstances, he and his Keepers are called to the town of Eddystone, New Hampshire for the reading of the man's will. Traveling four hundred miles from his dreaded hometown to attend, Danny is happy to get away, possibly inherit something interesting- and maybe find out more about his family while he's there. Arriving at the crumbling family estate of Gnomewood Home, he finds it to be hauntingly familiar, a bit creepy, oddly comforting, and possibly alive. When his uncle's will reveals that he's inherited Gnomewood and everything in it, he's determined to stay and make a happier life for himself in Eddystone, somehow. But at Gnomewood, he finds more questions than answers to his family's secrets. Disturbing old memories come to him in dreams. His psychic abilities begin to grow stronger, and as a result he becomes aware that a horde of cryptic creatures are plaguing the town of Eddystone, seemingly drawn out by the spell of an unusually frigid February. Toothy little goblins that are sneaky, vicious, and hungry. Goblins that take a particular interest in Danny. Will the emergence of the alien, and potentially dangerous, power he's inherited from his peculiar family tree help Danny survive the goblin infested winter, inadvisable attempts to befriend a terrifying boy with silver eyes, and a new school? Only if he learns to control them before they put him and everyone around him in danger. Before they convince some people that he should never have been allowed to exist at all. Before he becomes just another twisted tale in his family's bizarre history, kept hidden for centuries within the ivy-covered walls of Gnomewood Home.

Being Frank
**Author's Note** This was my 7th attempt at writing this story. I've worked on the story since 20 years ago but my writing style and skills haven't been satisfactory to me. So after working as a digital content manager for 2 years and after a very long deliberation I've decided to drop this 7th attempt and start on my 8th attempt. This 8th attempt will be the same story but starting from a different point in the timeline of my story. Thank you for your support on this 7th try, it is only due to your reviews and comments that I have the confidence to work hard on my 8th attempt. I started on my 8th attempt with the intention that my 8th attempt will be the final one as I'm a lot more confident and content with my where my writing skills are currently at. Volume 1 In a world filled with magic, war, giants and other awesome races lives Frank. Who being Frank is somewhat of a hermit. He loves to tinker with various contraptions trying to bend the laws of magic to his will. Through his successes he has garnered some attention; unwanted attention. If only that was all there was to it. .... war is coming Volume 2 Frank was born as a normal child, born in a normal family. His father was a scientist and was busy working most days. This is also why Frank was especially excited when his father decided to take an extended holiday to travel to Asia with his family. But their trip turns out to be one from which there is no going back. Writer's notice: I will continue to participate in the NaNoWriMo every November till I finish all that I have planned to write. I expect to have this story finished in 14 years approximately.Update:I was unhappy with how I had first written the first and second volume but am leaving the editing and finishing of those volumes till later and have started on the third one. The chronological order so far is 2-1-3. Might fix that too later.
