《I reluctantly became the dungeon master》Chapter 5.1: A person who has a new mission [i mean battles]

I wake up in a room. I try to remember what happened, about the battle and the conversation with God. It should be special and important information as God wanted to have a private conversation with me.
I take a deep breath and recover my sense. I stand up and check what time it is. It’s dark now so I guess it is night time. As soon as I examine everything, I look around and believe that everyone is asleep now. I sneak out of the room and try to find a perfect place for a private conversation. This is pretty important because I can get information to get back home from him.
I slowly get out of the room. I stand on the roof and try to find a good place. I can go to the sewage pipe but it may make a displeasing feeling to God. I want to pay the most respect to God for the information.
I finally find out a silent place; on the roof. It is a good place: I can pay respect. I can have a private chat. And also, I can get back early if something bad happens.
I sit down. I take a deep breath again. As soon as I calm down. I mutter:
“Dear God! Can you tell me what to do now?”
“Ha boy, you have arrived right on time. Anyways, as I said before, I can’t say anything now. You will soon know the other side of this Kingdom, causing a danger to you. You won’t know whenever you die because death is silent. If you want to survive, find Dungeon Lord – John. That is the only way to help you get out of this and bring you back home. I can help you but not always. You do need to do it on your own. And now, goodbye!” he smiles and waves his hand at me.
I shout quickly:
“But where will I have to go to find him?”
“You will know soon, at least not now.”
The conversation was too quick. I can ask anything informatively. All I can get is the name of a dungeon lord and ‘The other side of this Kingdom’. My goosebumps start to rise. I feel nervous, anxious. I know this feeling; the feeling of death. Whatever I do now, I have to be very careful. The people in this palace are very strange. I can’t trust anybody else, even I don’t trust myself.
I look at the star, shining on the dark sky. It is beautiful. I can even see the galaxy, but I guess they are a lot of planets gathering together for this miracle scene. Looking at the star reminds me of my family. Living in the other world makes me so fragile, weak? I don’t know… I don’t know but cry. I have never thought I would be like this. When I came to this world, I thought I will try to find a way home, but now I feel helpless. I have no clue about how to get home except a name.
I take another deep breath in order to calm down. Not one, or two but a lot of times. I wipe all the tears and think about what to do next. I can just sit here and doing nothing. I have to find a way out of this cr*p.
“So my first mission is to find John right? Ok, let’s go!” I say out loud and go back to the room.

Everyone is in their marvelous dream, I guess, so I tiptoe and go back to sleep, hope for a good day come.
12/09/184, World Calendar,
Last night was like a dream. Till now I can’t believe it was true. I stand up from the bed and move to the Dining room. I have training today so I can’t be late or my Commander will give me a ‘sweet hug’.
After taking breakfast – but I prefer it is a time when you taste the ‘delicious’ dish you have never imagined. I creep to the training place.
It is normal like always; swinging sword 100 times, running 10 kilometers per day, or fighting to each other. Then, we will take turns fighting our Commander. At first, I thought it would be a good chance to increase my power, but I was wrong. It‘s truly a nightmare. Even I’m a mage – Actually I’m a holy mastermind, he still forces me to use sword and ‘play’ with me like playing tennis. All I remember is flying around in the training place and hope.
After that, he will command the guard to bring me back to my room. If I wake up in the evening, he will force me to train even more. All I can say is that I’m in hell.
Finally, after 3 months, I can take a mission to head out of the palace. I won’t see the creepy face of the princess, and the angry face of my Commander. I feel poor for the soldier now.
Anyways, thanks to that hell training, my stat looks pretty good. All my stat is above 30 and my total potential is nearly 165. From what I heard, I can kill an orc with this stat but I think it will be difficult to do like the lack of experience.
So the first thing to do is to have experiences while gathering information about the dungeon. According to God, this Dungeon Lord would be summoned here at the same time as me. I can’t conclude that it is true, but this ability is high and I can’t leave it. So the only place to have fighting experience and gather information is Guild – Where I can choose a mission to do for money, gather information from people or high ranking members in the Guild.
After making up my mind, I immediately come to the Guild. At there, I get an identity card. It’s a card for a C-rank member – the lowest rank in Guild.
Well, depending on my stat, I should fight against a B-rank member. But I can’t be a B-rank member because of my achievement points (ACP). I need 100 ACP to upgrade my card. And when I get a good rank, I can access the most important information in the Kingdom. So right now I need to gain ACP from the mission. I choose a ‘Kill 3 goblins’ quest and head out the forest.
In the forest
I’m in the forest now. Everything is fine till now except the guy who wears a black cloak. Looking at him crashed into the tree makes me laugh a lot. I wipe my tears and search for goblins.
Goblins are weak creatures but very pawky. Even they don’t have intelligence but they can group up to 5 goblins. So to hunt them, you need to lure them and try to hunt down every single one.
But that’s for the C-rank members. With my strength, I can easily wipe them all. [forget I’m still C-rank]

After a while, I found a 3-goblin group. I hold my sword tight, mutter the skill:
“Infuse magic, enchantment ‘durability’, ‘sharp’.”
The sword seems to get sharper and hardener. But to make sure everything is fine, I pick up a small rock. I sneak to their place and throw the rock to their behind. They quickly turn back and look. Don’t want to miss a chance, I quickly rush toward them and cut through one of the goblin’s neck. The green blood spreads out and makes me want to vomit. The two goblins turn back, leave angry faces. But it’s too late. I quickly swing my sword and *slash*. Their arms fly away. They growl and try to run away.
“Where do you think you are going?” I shout and rush toward them again. The cold iron slashes through their necks and gives them a silent death. I stand there and do nothing. Something has changed. In my previous life, I would be never calm like this. Because I know; in this world there is only one thing: kill or be killed.
I pat my cheeks and get all goblins head. Actually, an ear should be enough but it would be a waste of time when I cut their ears. I continue on finding other enemies. I can come back and complete my quest but all I want to do is getting fighting experience.
After going for a while, an orc appears.
Orc is a species that looks like a pig. It is a very tough enemy. It can easily knock you down in one go but it’s quite slow. All I need is carefulness.
I once again sneak to it. But it seems more hypersensitivity than the goblins so it notices me. I quickly dodge to one side. The axe slashes through the tree easily. I am so shocked that orc is so powerful but soon focus back and pick 2 rocks. I also run a long distance and prepare for another surprise attack. When the orc is near, I throw the rock at it. Because of its high sensitivity so it immediately swings its axe. Then I quickly run at it and make a deep wound in its leg. I jump to dodge the axe again and roll in a bush.
This time I use the rock to fear the other creature. Because of rock, the creature immediately runs out. The orc once again swings its axe. I run out and cut it arm. The orc growls angrily but it would be the last growl it had ever made. I roll through aside and quickly cut through its wounded leg.
Losing the leg, the orc loses balance and starts to collapse. I stand on its back and point the sword at its neck.
“Goodbye, the pig,” I say and swing my sword. The orc collapses; dedicate the victory of mine. Thanks to this battle, I have reached level 5. All my stats is over 35, giving me a bright smile.
“Ha, it isn’t over. The most dangerous creature is coming” The God informs me.
I look around and notice the existence of a creature. It looks like orc but bigger and seems to be more powerful. Its skin changes from green to red. And it has two horns on the top of its head.
“An elite orc?” I think
“No. A high orc.” God immediately says.
“What is the high orc?” I haven’t finished my question yet and the orc swings the axe.
I hurriedly dodge aside. The strength, speed, or even intelligence is more than an orc.
“Absolutely better, because the high orc is the evolutional form of the orc. Elite orc actually makes orc bigger but doesn’t change its appearance. But the orc evolved will change the appearance. I can give you the stat of it. Wait” (God)
A board pops up.

As soon as the board popped up, the orc hit me. I quickly jump back.
“Hey God, you want to kill me? It’s close” I shout and rapidly breathe.
I focus my gaze at the orc; try to find its weakness. And a thought comes across. A smile appears on my face. My fighting spirit is rising bigger over time. All I need is a wound.
I use my control mana ability to make a thin shield. Then, I rush toward the orc.
Because of its instinct, it swings its axe at me. The speed is extremely fast which can’t be a joke. I know I can’t dodge this attack, I raise my shield diagonal. Taking advantage of orc’s weight and axe, the attack has moved to aside. I use my sword and scratch a small wound on its stomach. I immediately let out the sword and put my hand on it.
“Have you ever tasted the violence of the mana?” I smile and start to control. I infuse all the mana inside the wound. I mean not the wound but push it inside the blood.
Usually, the mana is very good for blood and body but what if the density of mana was too high in the blood. The mana will break the blood system; an explosion will occur.
I pump all my mana in its blood. The orc seems to feel something strange so it growls and swings the axe again. I pump more mana inside its body. The orc can control itself and put its axe down. The blood system reveals on orc’s skin.
I know this is the time to give it a critical attack. I pick up a sword and cut its head. But the world doesn’t go easy on you. The orc gains its control and gives me a punch. With its strength, I easily fly backward for 100 meters. At least 3 bones have broken after that punch.
I try to stand up but can’t. I think this is the end for me but…
I have forgotten a thing. My mana is inside orc’s body.
The orc slowly walks toward me.
It grinds its teeth; tries to let out a smile I guess.
“What an ugly smile.” I smile and clench my hand.
The mana inside its body starts to move back my body breaks through orc blood and flesh.
The orc is trying to do something but it’s too late.
The mana breaks through everything and *splash*
The orc disappears and leaves its body back.
I breathe so deeply and relax.
“Let me relax for an hour and I will be back” I mutter and close my eye.
All my sense fades away, and I have fainted.
