《A virtual reality game according to a martial artist otaku》Chapter 46

John POV
"Holy mother of-" I was staring at my computer screen. What was in front of me amazed me.
I had logged off and had eaten. After I did my homework that Hajime had sent me, I decided to browse the internet for any surprises. And holy shit what I found surprised me.
What I was seeing could only be described as "beautiful." This swordswoman had graceful movements, confidently parrying and attacking her opponent. Her opponent was a player who had a spear, but with an emphasis on one side. He wasn't bad, but the woman out skilled him. Once she had disarmed him, she proceeded to slowly torture the man in front of her loyal army.
She didn't cut off any limbs, nor did she break any bones; she merely drugged him and began to whisper in his ear. It was amusing to watch the man break as the drug started to take hold off him. Whatever words the blue haired girl whispered into his ear were obviously effective.
After three minutes, she grew bored. Snapping her fingers, a man brought up a chain a collar, before standing back in line. 'She is a good commander. She is either loved or feared by her subordinates. Probably both.'
She snapped the collar onto the man's neck and sat down. With a simple command, the naked, broken man started slobbering over her. In thirty seconds, she grew bored and kills the man and ended with her standing in front of her army.
I whistled as the screen showed the girl around my age. The video was had two obvious reasons for being posted:
1. To make everyone fear them.
2. As a promotional ad.
However, that's for obvious people. For people like me, it was a challenge. I could see he face throughout the entire video; it was full of scorn and boredom. She was seeking a challenger and experience the thrill of a true fight.

I grinned, showing teeth. "Well miss blue hair, I will grant you it." I said as I logged back onto Endless online.
Kira POV
I looked around and saw Tohka's avatar 'sleeping' next to me. I noticed that many players were also logging back on; we were supposed to start fighting soon.
Tohka jolted awake. "So, did you do anything interesting?" She rubbed her eyes and stretched. I chuckled. "You could say that." I pointed towards the blue haired girl. She was surrounded by men with the same uniform I saw in the video.
"You see the blue hair? Yes her. She has beautiful swordsmanship and I saw her fight. She will be a major problem for us." She narrowed her eyes. "So how are we going to beat her?"
"You fight her aide whilst I take on the big fish. I haven't been able to go all out for some time now, so I look forward to seeing her in the arena.
The blue hair jolted awake. She was immediately swarmed by her crazed followers. Voices of Eisdeath this, and Eisdeath that began to repeat in the crowded room. I stared at her and in-between the smiles she showed her followers, she glared back.
"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! WELCOME TO THE ARENA AND THE SECOND ROUND OF FIGHTS! WHO WILL WIN THE APPROVAL OF A GOD OR GODDESS AND WHO WILL NOT? LET'S FIND OUT, SHALL WE!!?!" The crowd roared their approval to start the fighting.
"ALRIGHT FOR THE FIRST FIGHT OF TODAY, WE HAVE THE NUMBERS 778 AND 564!" Everyone in the crowd yelled with excitement. Both parties stood up and started to walk towards the center of the arena.
"BOTH ARE FAVOURITES TO WIN, BUT WE SHALL SEE WHO HAS THE BETTER SKILL!" They faced each other.

The blue hair, Esdeath, raised her saber. 'I know this attack. But then again, so does he."
"START!" With the commentator's permission, Esdeath swung the saber down.
Ice blasted from her towards the boy. Excalibur transformed and formed a shield of light in front of the boy, protecting him.
"That's not going to work!" He shouted, his confidence back.
Esdeath smirk whilst maintaining the ice blast. "It's a two versus one. You know what that means?"
The silver armoured girl appeared with a claymore behind the boy. He noticed and started to turn around, but it was already too late.
"It means that you have to watch your back." Esdeath finished as the claymore impaled him.
The claymore was lifted upwards, making the boy scream briefly in pain before falling to the ground, dead.
The crowd roared their support for Esdeath and her subordinate. Esdeath sighed and began to walk back, and claymore girl followed.
"GIVE IT UP FOR 778! NOW OUR NEXT FIGHT IS 777 AND 123!"
I walked to the middle alongside Tohka. My mask covered my face and made me look like an impassive killer; exactly how I wanted to look.
Tohka shouldered her broadsword. She lightly hit me. "Let me kill at least one person..." She pouted and I patted her head. "We'll see."
In front of us was a pair of people. One was obviously a boy my age, the other was a girl. She was kinda cute... Wait. Why do I fell killing intent from Tohka? I glance to the side and Tohka has already set her sights on the girl.
*Ding* You are now (temporarily) level 45.
Sigh "Tohka, don't kill them, they're NPC-"
"START!" Before I could finish my sentence, Tohka had already jumped into the air, clearly aiming to kill the girl.
The boy jumped in front of the girl, raising his iron sword and clearly intending to stop Tohka's attack. 'Can't have that now can we?' I throw a knife into the boy's stomach.
The boy dropped his sword and held his stomach, leaving the girl defenceless. The girl didn't move out of Tohka's way and ended up being cleaved in half. 'Ouch.'
The boy was still alive when Tohka walked up to him. " Please help me." He pleaded.
Tohka raised her foot and sharply brought it down on the boy's head, curb stomping him. 'Double ouch.'
She bent down and retrieved my knife. "Here." She handed back my bloodied knife. "Don't go around checking out other girls okay?" She whispered into my ear, bringing shivers down my spine.
Who is this girl? An esper?!!?!"

I've written like fifty thousand words already so I guess have fun.
