Hello Everyone! Sorry I haven't been posting for the last week but I have a reason: EXAMS! Now that they are all over, I will be posting regularly! See you later!

Third person POV

The bartender-like man led the pairs through a tunnel and they saw a light at the end of the tunnel. Still stoic, the white haired man stood to the side and motioned for the pairs to go through.

"-lease welcome our contestants!" An announcer shouted and the crowd roared in response. Kira squinted as the light assaulted his eyes.

"There were several hundred of competitors but most of them were killed!" The crowd shouted angrily, clearly some of them had someone they were rooting for killed.

"FEAR NOT!" The announcer shouted. "The fighters in front of you are the ones that survived; they are the strongest! IF ANYONE WANTS TO SEE WEAKLINGS FIGHT, THEN THIS IS NOT FOR YOU!"

The crowd roared as though they were animals. Clearly this commentator knew how to whip up and control a crowd. Kira's eyes finally got used to the light and "Holy shit." He breathed out.

There were at least two thousand people sitting in a coliseum. The arena itself was over a hundred meters in diameter, covered in sand. The occasional disembodied hand or finger sticking out in the midst of yellow.

"So for our fist fight, we have the pairs of 116 and 564 against each other!" The commentator shouted and the crowd screamed with excitement.

Kira looked to where the commentator was shouting from. It was a seat just in front of a shaded stand. The commentator was a man who channeled mana into a megaphone object. Looking past him, Kira could see figures of men and women, who he assumed were the Gods and Goddesses.

His eyes locked onto one such figure. Although he was too far away to confirm it, he thought the figure was looking at him too.

"Let's go Kira." Tohka pulled his arm. Breaking away his gaze, he followed her back into the darkness of the tunnel. Two pairs walked past him.

Two pairs faced each other. On one side was number 116 and on the other 564. 116's team consisted of two warriors, one male and one female. 564, on the other hand, was weird: One was a blonde boy, smiling arrogantly. The other was a... Humanoid thing. It had a cane, wore a suit and wore a top hat upon its head.

"IT'S A FIGHT UNTIL ONE SIDE CANNOT CONTINUE OR HAVE GIVEN UP! START!"

The two warriors drew their swords and readied their shields. 564 just stood there.

Suddenly the small white humanoid brandished its can and yelled. "FOOL!"

Taken aback, the two hesitated. The white creature continued. "Is it not common curtsey to bow towards your opponent before a fi-"

The warriors didn't want to hear this lecture and rushed him. They swung their swords, hitting air. The thing jumped back into the hands of the arrogant blond boy, and... Transformed?!

"OHHH! WE HAVE A WEAPON HERE!" The commentator shouted. "WEAPONS ARE ORGANIC WEAPONS, CAPABLE OF TRANSFORMING BETWEEN HUMAN AND WEAPON. THEY'RE INCREDIBLY RARE, BUT HERE WE SEE ONE TODAY!" The crowd shouted in anticipation if the fight.

"Come, fowl villains! Taste the blade of Excalibur!" The boy shouted at the approaching duo.

They reached him and quickly swung. However, the golden boy disappeared in a flash of light. Everyone looked about, wondering where he was.

"I'm above!" Everyone looked up and, true to his word, the boy was floating in mid-air with yellow angel-like wings hovering behind him. 'Fool.' Kira thought. 'If you are above them don't announce it.'

The warriors sheathed their weapons, their swords would be ineffective against an airborne opponent. Instead they, both players, retrieved bows and started firing at the floating boy. The boy disappeared and reappeared behind the male warrior and stabbed him in the back. The male quickly reacted and spun around, hoping to shoot the boy point blank before he died. The female didn't stand around either; she leapt and swung her sword, hoping to cleave the boy.

Their opponent merely smiled just as the man released the arrow and the woman's sword was above him.

"AND AFTER THAT BRILLIANT DISPLAY, WE HAVE A WINNER! 564 WINS AND GOES THROUGH TO THE NEXT ROUND!"

'The boy has a reason to be arrogant. He played them from start to finish. He went in-between the two attacks and teleported out of the way. The two warriors killed each other.' Kira watched as the bodies disappeared with a flash.

"ALRIGHTY, TIME FOR THE NEXT ROUND! CAN THE PAIRS 777 AND 93 COME OUT AND FACE EACH OTHER!?!"

'That's us.'

"Let's go Tohka." He signalled to her and walked back out into the blazing sun. He had his katana strapped to the side and knives in his hand; he was ready to fight.

"Yes!" Tohka shouldered her broadsword and followed him out into the open.

Their opponents were already there, a pair of players in cloaks and staffs. 'Magicians. How interesting.'

*Ding* Your level mean has been calculated. You are now (temporarily) level 52. Stats have been distributed to the most likely stat.

Peeling his eyes off the notification, Kira faced his enemy.

"SO WHO DO YOU THINK WILL WIN IN LIFE OR DEATH BATTLE!?" Kira placed his hands on his knives, crossing his arms. "TWO MAGICIANS VERSUS TWO WARRIORS!" Kira tensed and aimed. "WARRIORS AND MAGICIANS, START!" Kira threw.

The magicians grabbed their clothing and stopped. "WHAT IS HAPPENING HERE!?! THE WARRIORS HAVE MADE LITTLE MOVEMENT! WHAT ARE THEY DOING!?!"

One of the magicians coughed. The other followed suit. Their hands wandering off their cloaks and onto their throats. They felt the metal there and with shaking hands tried to remove it.

One of them hunched over, then fell face-first into the sand. Blood poured from his throat. The other held on a little longer, clawing with weakening hands. The light in his eyes dimmed and he fell backwards.

"WHAT IS THIS!?!?! BOTH MAGICIANS OF THE TEAM HAVE BEEN KILLED INCREDIBLY QUICKLY!" Kira approached their corpses and with forceful tugs, withdrew his bloodied knives.

"AN-AND THE WINNER IS TEAM 777! GIVE THEM A ROUND OF APPLAUSE!"

Tohka pouted. "I thought I would be able to kill someone just now. Do you need me or not?" Kira laughed as they walked back and patted her head. "Yes. I will need you, but those two were easy to kill with knives. I would kill them as quickly as possible, so I can eat in real-life." He smiled.

"Besides, there is still time until the next round of fights, so I will do shit in real life. You and I still need to do some homework."

She sighed, signaling that he was right.

They both logged off, unknowing that two figures seemed to be smiling at them.
