“Runes are active” A shout was heard from outside.

Arden arrived at the inn as soon as class was over. Alex had taken care of the runes and was waiting for him. The Higgs had stopped by to assemble the inn furniture and was pulled over by Alex.

So Alex, Arden, Higgs, and the dozen or so workers who had worked in the construction of the bathhouse waited eagerly to watch what would happen next.

After a few minutes of waiting, the higgs spoke with hesitation.

“Alex, are you sure you did everything right? You know you're getting old."

"Look at me.."

Just then, water started to flow in many parts of the bath. Bathing areas in the corner of the bath, shower areas and small fountain to fill the pool.

Arden went to one of the running water and held out his hand. The temperature was exactly what he wanted. After looking around for a while, he turned around.

“How about testing the Bathhouse after work is done for the day?” he said and smiled.

The workers also enthusiastically accepted and went to finish the remaining work. The mage who made the rune had already come near them.

“Mr. Arden you need to replace mana stones once a month. I laid the first stones.”

“How much does the stone cost?”

“Two silvers will do.” said

Arden nodded. 2 silver was a good figure for a month's bath expenses.

The workers had finished their work towards evening. The inn was almost ready to open. After visiting the inn, they went to Bathhouse with a team of about 20 people. Arden said everyone should bathe before entering the pool. At the end of the long working day, the workers relieved their tiredness by bathing in hot water. After everyone had washed, they headed towards the pool in the middle of the bath.

Arden entered the pool and sat on the corner step of the pool and let the hot water massage his body. This could have been one of the best days he had ever had in this world. Alex and Higgs also got into the water and began to relax.

“Mr. Arden, I finally understand why you made such a request.”

“This is how to relax after a busy day. Great,” said Higgs, after closing his eyes and stretching his feet into the water.

“Haha, all we're missing is a cold beer, I guess I can sell something like this when the inn officially opens,” Arden said.

Alex and Higgs' eyes widened when they heard the word beer. The two of them were longtime friends and loved to drink. When Arden opened the inn, they said to themselves that they would definitely stop by, and they started chatting in hot water.

As the sun was about to set, everyone was dressed and ready to head towards Petra. The city gates were closed after dark and wouldn't open until the next day. Arden was going to sleep in Petra for the last time. Tomorrow was the opening of the inn.

Arden had decided to throw a big party for this opening. Everyone he knew in Petra was invited, even the workers who worked on the construction of the inn.

Arden, Alex, and higgs got in the carriage and set off.

The next day, after their lessons at the adventurers guild, Arden and Matt went to their inn and packed their things. When everything was ready, they invited the innkeeper Gordon to the evening party and left the inn.

After Arden had rented a carriage and supplied the inn, they came to the west gate of Petra.

Ava, Alistair, and Zeke were waiting for them by the door. When they heard about the party, they offered to help.

“Jump, I have to prepare food for 30 more.” said Arden.

Arden had helped out when the man was missing in the kitchen at his uncle's bar, so he wasn't bad at cooking. Still, cooking for such a big party was intimidating.

“We're in a hurry,” Zeke said.

"Don't worry, if your cooking turns out to be bad, we won't go after it," said Alistair.

“Haha, just don't eat your fingers after eating the food I made,” Arden said after a laugh.

Arden began to ride towards the inn, riding the horses in the ways he was now accustomed to. Although he was afraid to ride a horse carriage at first, he got used to it easily. Soon they stopped by the inn. Everyone got out of the car and began to examine the inn standing in front of them.

Arden opened the door of the inn with a large iron key and stepped inside. He turned and shouted.

“Come on guys, supplies need to be moved.”

At Arden's reminder, they regained consciousness and began unloading the items from the carriage.

Matt turned to Arden as he walked through the door.

“Arden dude, this place is amazing”

“Wait until you see Bathhouse”

“What, did you build a Bathhouse”

To Matt's surprise, Arden had never told him about the bathhouse.

“At the end of the corridor, you can take a shower while I cook”

If Ava and the others didn't understand what the two of them were talking about, they realized that it was something exciting. After the ingredients for the meals were brought to the kitchen, he sent the excited four to explore the inn.

Arden was getting into cooking. He wanted to make a meal that everyone would enjoy. He would have another surprise for Matt today because he was making pizza. After lighting the pizza oven, he started preparing the dough.

After Arden let the dough rest, he started preparing the other ingredients. When he had everything ready, he went to the lobby to see what the others were doing.

Just then, Matt and the others were wiping their wet hair with a towel piled up on a table.

“I see you tried the bathhouse.”

“Dude felt great after training”

“I'm moving here from my inn,” she said. Ava seemed to have fallen in love with the bathhouse.

Arden smiled.

“What did you do for dinner, man,” said Matt.

"Pizza"

“Pizza? It's great, it's like we're home,” Matt said, looking forward to dinner.

“Can you join the tables while I cook the pizzas?” said Arden.

“Leave it to us,” said zeke.

Arden nodded, then went to the kitchen and started cooking the pizzas. By late afternoon, people were starting to arrive.

First came the workers and Alex followed by higgs then the innkeeper gordon. Edward and the white lions team arrived last.

Arden had cooked all the pizzas when everyone arrived.

Ava and the others brought the cooked pizzas to the tables. A barrel of beer was opened and beer was handed out to everyone at the table.

Arden came to the table and had to say a few words.

“First of all, I would like to thank everyone who has come. It was always my dream to open an inn. and today will be realised. Because of that I would like to thank Mr.Alex and the friends who worked in the construction of the inn for their fast and meticulous work. I don't want to prolong it too long, let's eat."
