After deciding Darren wasn't worth her time Lilium turned back to her brother.
"What are you doing here?" (Lilium)
Gernam's false face became a large smile.
"Teaching." (Gernam)
The girl glared at her brother and her disbelief turned to anger. Then she pointed an outstretched hand in his direction. Those able to sense magic immediately tensed at the power of the spell. The moment the spell touched Gernam he went to his knees.
"You should have just disappeared. 1200 years you've been gone. If you think I'll let fil..."
She was interrupted by Darren before she could finish.
"Well aren't we full of ourselves. Before you say something you'll regret allow me to warn you. Insult or speak ill of him in my presence and I'll end your temporary existence faster than you can lift a finger." (Darren)
She turned towards Darren. Enhancing her sight she observed his mana capacity. Then she smiled.
"Though your mana capacity is astoundingly high. It's unrefined, you can't even cast a tier 2 spell." (Lilium)
"Like a human could even lift a finger against one of her kind. You should just know your pla..." (Elf student)
Before he could respond he suddenly face planted. The force pulling him down was so strong he couldn't even lift himself up.
The girls eye's narrowed.
"Weight magic?" (Lilium)
She had never seen it so powerful.
"If you think that's the full extent, .........well just try me and find out." (Darren)
Habbron was extremely uncomfortable with the situation. So he coughed to get the groups attention. Then motion to the students watching the encounter.
"Perhaps we should continue this somewhere more private." (Habbron)
"Yes I agree. I propose my classroom." (Gernam)
Habbron nodded. Turning to address the class.
"We will continue tomorrow. Dismissed." (Habbron)

Begrudgingly the students filed out of the large room.
Darren dispersed the minuscule amount of darkmatter that held down the elf. The boy filed out with the rest of the classroom but gave Darren a glare as if to say it wasn't over.
After arriving in Gernam's classroom Darren started the discussion.
"So is this a thing in your family. Being undead?" (Darren)
"Undead?" (Lilium)
She questioned almost convincingly.
"I don't know what those elves think you are. But I'm pretty sure you're a vampire." (Darren)
Her eyes widened. Then she suddenly appeared next to Darren. A blood red blade pressed to his neck.
"Give me one reason not to kill your friend." (Lilium)
"For one he knows I'm a lich so calm down. Second I'd let him go before she kills you." (Gernam)
Lilium suddenly felt an emmense pressure bearing down on her. In front of Gernam's desk a colossal wolf appeared.
"Remove yourself from my mate, whelp." (Lycan)
The vampire had no clue who the wolf was, but she could since the overwhelming power emanating from her.
Reluctantly she released Darren. Then she turned to her brother.
"How did you survive the lich hunts. And why did you never say anything." (Lilium)
"My abode was never discovered. However I knew the Arcanist would be constantly searching so I laid low. Even after 200 years they still almost caught me. So I set myself to research." (Gernam)
"For 1000 years?" (Lilium)
"180 actually. The rest is none of your concern." (Gernam)
The girl glared at her brother.
"Hey so umm are you going to answer my question?" (Darren)
"What question?" (Gernam)
"About your family being undead. Also why do those elves not know what a vampire is?" (Darren)
"Vampires are actually very well known. However most people call them nightkin. They also don't know a vampire's true nature. As undead or their eating habits. They just think they are a race of long lived enigmatic people. Even the elves don't trifle with them." (Gernam)
"How long did it take them to get themselves in that position?" (Darren)
"Only about 90 years of careful planning." (Lilium)
Darren nodded but said nothing further.
"So, Lilly how did you die." (Gernam)

College Construction: My Principal System
Fang Yuan traveled through a parallel world and inherited the private high school founded by his late grandfather, Yun Ding High School. Due to its consistent ranking as the worst high school in Jingcheng City throughout the year, its qualification to be allowed to run as a school would soon be canceled. Fortunately, for Fang Yuan, the universe activated the Strongest Principal System. As long as the school gained prestige, it could establish buildings, summon famous talents, and redeem various God-level rewards. From the founding of the main teaching building to improving the efficiency of learning; constructing a library, improving overall intelligence, constructing a well-equipped hospital as well as ensuring health and safety standards are followed…the Strongest Principal System made everything possible. In addition, the System provided a concert hall, art gallery, a lake garden, an observatory, a cafeteria with five-star cuisine as well. However, this was not all, the System even allowed Fang Yuan to summon world-famous talents from parallel worlds to teach his students. He could summon Shakespeare to teach Literature, Gauss to teach Mathematics, Einstein for Physics, Curie for Chemistry, Darwin for Biology, and Nightingale for medicine. He could also summon Beethoven to teach music, Van Gogh for art, Spielberg for film, and Messi for football! Thus, a formidable high school that would shock the world was born. Students would go forth to win Nobel Prizes, Olympic Medals and break world records in all the manner of categories. Countless Hollywood celebrities and Silicon Valley geniuses would be produced by the school. “Bitcoin? Oh, you mean our IT Department teacher, Satoshi Nakamoto’s little experiment?” Even students from prestigious institutions such as Harvard, Cambridge, and Oxford would cry about wanting to attend Yun Ding High School.

8 151NEVER SPLIT THE PARTY: The Adventures of The Creeping Bam (BOOK ONE: The Job)
TAO is a broken world held together with nothing but magic and the will of the gods who protect it and its people. Then thousand years ago THE SUNDERING struck and Tao was almost torn apart by a terrible magical cataclysm which resulted in the planet almost being halted in its journey through the cosmos. It took all the power the gods of Tao could muster to restore its orbit and set it turning again, but in their efforts it was forever changed – its axis was drastically altered, and it now spins in such a way that one face of the world is forever turned from the sun it orbits, leaving half the planet in perpetual darkness. The various humanoid races that survived and now thrive within the habitable parts of THE DAY LANDS have come to live in perpetual fear of what lives beyond THE BORDERLANDS that separate them from whatever dwells within THE NIGHT LANDS, but for ten millennia it has kept its secrets. The land of RUNDAO languishes under the rule of their warlike Northern neighbours, the TEKTEHRAN EMPIRE, while a small, ragtag band of motley adventurers ply their mercenary trade fighting monsters and protecting the common man from the various dangers that haunt the night and prowl the hinterlands on the edges of civilization. THE CREEPING BAM have amassed a modest reputation in their years together, but they’re still just a small-time party of sellswords, thieves, outcasts and mages. They’re also exactly the kind of underdogs the people of Tao doesn’t yet realise are needed to save the world from the encroaching darkness they doesn’t even know is coming … This is a love letter and homage to the high-fantasy worlds of the tabletop RPGs like Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder and Warhammer and the sword & sorcery cinema and literature I fell in love with as a kid growing up in the 80s, from Robert E. Howard’s Conan the Barbarian (and the awesome Schwarzenegger movie, STILL my favourite fantasy film EVER), The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit and Ron Howard and George Lucas’ Willow, to the more grown-up and edgy worlds of grimdark masters George RR Martin and (my all-time favourite) Joe Abercrombie, as well as a BIG DOLLOP of Terry Pratchett’s immortal Discworld series. IMPORTANT: This story contains material which some readers may consider to be mature, such as battle violence, some strong language and occasional mild sexual scenes. If this is not your kind of thing, this story is not for you. I am also serializing this story on Tumblr, Wattpad, Quotev and Sweek.
