after i'm done making a call , i headed to our meeting spot, no, this isn't a secret basecamp or something like that, just the front of convenience store near my place

after another 20-minutes walk from Akamine apartment, i reach our usual spot, i check my phone and see it's already 11:02, both of me and Akamine hanging out for quite some time huh, on front of convenience store i can see Bando and Morio with their motorcycle, on the back of Morio bike there's a bag that most likely contain our weapon

"dude.. you know i walk by foot to this place, and how come i'm late? i never tell you about the time right? i want to say that we gather at 11:05, it's your own fault to turn it off with out asking huh" [Nashi]

after 30 minutes ride motorcycle we reach the abandoned hospital, both of them park the bikes inside the wall of the gates, so nobody will notice, even though this hospital located on outskirt of the town, on the back side of this hospital there's a forest, on the other side of this forest there's another town, this forest maybe has 12-14km depth and around 30km width.

"right, Morio-nii~ what do you brings today? [Nashi]

"let's see, just an baseball bat, crowbar , pipe , ah there's hand axe and dagger that i got from Daily reward" [Morio]

"hee~ all right then give me the hand axe, ah Bando! You're not using any weapon right?" [Nashi]

"....... i'll think i take the crowbar, i don't know what but i have this bad vibe that punches and kicks won't be enough" [Bando]

"i'll take the dagger. i have a feeling that this will be useful tonight~" [Morio]

"ah, we are going to walk while i'm using "Map" so please guide me~" i say this with cheerful tone

".... why? We already know where's that cave whereabout right?" [Bando]

"oh.. here a flashlight, i brought for each one of us" [Morio]

"ou~ always prepared huh, well any way this'll be around an hour walk, you sure you can still walk eh Nashi? [Bando]

after walking for quite and amount of time, i just focusing on "Map" while i the other two helping me walking , the reason i'm doing this is i want to see, if the kobold really do exist, where are they hiding? there might be some sort of place like home or something like that , that never been found before

still in mini-map condition i'm asking these two people

"this might be come out of nowhere, but what do you guy knows about Kobold?"

"kobold? like the one in the video game? A dog that stand on two foot i think" [Bando]

"kobold huh? i search for it once on Googla , the picture shown is lizard-man i guess, ah there's also the one that looked like a rat" [Morio]

"hee.. So that's what kobold is looks like eh, well maybe we are going to kill something like that tonight" [Nashi]

"....hoo.. this is star to get interesting" [Bando]

".. i see we are going to kill some kobolds ,right?" [Morio]

"yes, something like that , though i don't know whats kobold look like, that's why i ask you two, but i from what you guys describe something that either looks like a dog,lizard or rat right?" [Nashi]

"ah, i can see the cave on the map already.... hee.. hey you two, what are the chance's of some people hanging in a group of ten around the cave at this hour on not so famous forest" [Nashi]

yeah, the downside of the map is this ability can't show the color of dots, when i'm inside building this will shown the building blue print, alongside everybody inside it, but everything dots will be shown in white. the same things happen when i'm outside of building

"... a group of people that want to dispose of corpse?" [Morio]

".. a group of people that want to start sex party?" [Bando]

"....... i see there's possibility like that huh, well it's better for you two to turn off the lights when i'm telling it, we are still far , but after 800 meter, lets just turn it off"

".... you know if we can catch some kobold i wonder if we will be rich" [Bando]

"hee, i never think of it that way, well let's just see first these kobold dangerous or not" [Nashi]

5 minutes after i say that, i told these two to turn off the flash light.. right now the three of us walking blindly inside the forest, with only "Map" as a guidance, the position of us Morio in front , me in middle while Bando in the back. After around 300 meters left from the cave,i see two dots separate from the main group.. i told these to the other two. And discuss some possibility.

"that just a couple that want to have sex privately right?" [Bando]

".... wanna peep?" [Morio]

"hm.. i don't think these two are like that, since they are just walking oh there's another two dots separating from the main group..., let's just wait for a moment"

after we say this since the other two don't exactly know what'll happen either, they just agreed and the three of us is sitting down... after quite sometime, i see a pattern that these four dots is walking in circle, i see.. this is patrolling group right?, from what i know , they'll change partner three times and comes back, after that another two coming out to patrolling followed by the other two.. this time, i'm telling Bando to use timer to count how long they are patrolling while i'm telling Morio to use time either, but he's for when each of these dots changing partner

the result that we got is, they walk for around 15 minutes, and changing partner at random time, there's some slight variation but i guess i know that, they circling around 88 meter from mouth of the cave, the cave itself only has 30 meter depth and 4 meter width, i know it since we already went to that cave for test of courage before, oh and after each 15 minutes patrol, they're going back to main group and there's 3 minutes delay before another group went off

i am making sure with the third group coming out.. damn.. i can hear Bando already grumbling , ah while we are waiting we are just smoking, yeah smoking around inside forest to anyone that can read my please don't do this, infact if anyone that can read my mind aren't smoking then don't! like at all! , anyhow after the third group it's been decided that these dots are walking with the same pattern

"yosh i think i know what we have to do here"

and i'm explaining my plan to both of them

we are heading toward east.. because the trees around that area aren't that dense comparing to the other, i decide that it'll be better to have place where we will have good vision so we can see what's the kobold looks like, also from what supposed to be their main camp ,the east are the farthest place they'll go in their patrol, around 95 meter, so if we failed our ambush , the backup will be slightly late coming in, hopefully

after walking while hiding from patrol, right now, we are already in the east... lucky enough our phone still has some service, yeah this forest aren't that deep. If this is a real kobold how come no one ever finds it, since it's to dark, it's useless either to use the phone camera to look at the surrounding. i'm hiding behind a tree. My position should be the one that makes the contact first if they are coming out from same place, while Bando wait near me, and Morio just hiding on the other side he just positioned himself purely on luck , hoping the other partner will go right straight to him.. well.. he's a lucky guy so why not bet with some of that

after this the 5th patrolling group supposedly coming in, they are spliting in two again, one group headed north-west, the other one headed south-east, after this each one of them will move to two different way, one following circle around following clock , while the other will go on the other way...

after waiting for a some minutes, i can see two Blue-dots coming to us one from south , one from north, i see.. blue-dots means summoned creature right? Anyhow after a while they are start splitting again and i tell these two

"these are not human, go."

one that headed down walked directly toward Morio hiding place and getting stabbed, i don't know since i'm only looks through mini-map but when seeing the blue dot already gone, that means Morio somewhat lucky enough to strike it on the vital part on his first strike, at the same time Bando doing a stealth walk, and i can hear a voice of blunt object hitting something.. hee this one still alive huh.

"Nashi.. Morio.. You two might want to come over here and sees what kobold looks like." [Bando]

"ou" [Nashi], "i already see's it, only an instant but i guess there's nothing wrong with taking a better look, hm? wait a minute" [Morio]

i walked out of the tree that i'm hiding and see Bando figure, below his feet i can see the figure of something trembling, since using flash light will gives in our position, i decided to do crouch down and use my lighter to take a look at it's face.

.............damn.... so kobold looks like this huh

short, it's height maybe slightly taller than Yuzu. It's back is hunched, it's face.. i don't know how to describe it.. it looks like human but obviously not a human? Why? Itss ears are long and pointy , the nose big... too big covering almost half of itss face,all of it's tooths are canine, it has an appearance of old man.. maybe. i don't know.. its face really ugly. well,maybe because Bando hit, it face really hard,there's a blood coming out from what suposed to be it's fore head. The thing that i sure off, it's bringing a pick axe that doesn't match it's body, wearing a clothes that looks like a clown.. it's still trembling eh...

"oi Bando.. just finish it already.. i feel bad to look at it" [Nashi]

"... so this is what kobolds looks like eh.. you sure this isn't just ugly human?" [Bando]

"... dunno, it's blue on my "mini-map" so i can assure you that this isn't human" [Nashi]

"yup.. its not human.. you know what? After i killed it, the body is gone, and this is what i found dropped on the ground" [Morio]

".... that bottle.. is that an ointment?" [Nashi]

"yes, it is"Cut Oil" [Morio]

"all right, then here goes nothing" [Bando] he slammed the kobold face again , after one slam , the body of the kobold is gone from in front of us..

"....is this a ghost or what?" [Bando]

"nope, just think of it as something that's not from this world... that sounds like a ghost huh" [Nashi] (wait.. this means some one use summon on these kobolds right?.. or maybe they already exist in the first place? no that's impossible , i did the test of courage with Bando gang around two years ago and there's no sign of something like this back then)

".... nothing dropped on the ground?" [Morio]

"it's hard to see, but i don't think there's a single thing on the ground" [Bando]

"........ holy shit , forget about the oinment ,even i can't find the pick axe either" [Nashi]

"... you're right" [Bando]

"huh? these things bring pick axe? i don't see it when i killed mine" [Morio]

"ah, just wait a moment i wan't to check something" [Nashi]

i reach my pocket and open the paper request that i got from Akamine

ghh to dark it's hard to see,"oi helped light this up with your lighter", following my request, Morio light his lighter ah finally some light let's see... slain 23 kobolds.. hee.. this is somewhat looks like a game huh, when a party member killing things, the other member quest will be counted to.

ah.. how about exp? i open my wallet and took the card that i've got from Akamine too

...... huh? my exp only went up by 3? isn't this to little...

ah speaking of Akamine...

i'm not breaking my promise like at all right? , these two are the one that do the killing , besides this already around 1A.M at tuesday, so it's okay if i'm helping them right now right?
