Shilfa is busy today, after all she is doing the packing. Unfortunately I still can't escape horse's fate, those devils in the disguise of children are coming too. Naturally Shilfa and Qin won't stay here.
Today Qin and I can train to our fullest without stopping in the middle at Shilfa's command. At first we started with light blows in our spar. We increased our power bit by bit and now Qin unleashed his fury of rapid claws.
After diligently meditating and sparring with this vicious wolf for a month my mentality has grown by leaps and bounds. I no longer lose my calm during battle or get scared of death easily.
Seeing Qin's raw razor sharp claws rushing towards my chest, I quickly pulled my bastard sword out of its sheath, dazzling lights were reflected on it when the sun rays crashed with it.
Momentarily Qin was blinded and his attack was very easy to dodge using the footwork I worked on for months, my blood and sweat combined only then was I able to grow this far.
I quickly made a mental note 'this can prove to be quite a weapon, reflection of lights to blind the opponent' it would prove really useful against the dumb skulls of this world I thought.
With a step to the side I rushed towards Qin, using the back of my sword I hit Qin's stomach. A proud expression could be clearly seen on my face, we always sparred but no one won since Shilfa would always stop us before we reached a climax but now I won.
Qin didn't want to admit defeat, once again he charged towards me with an even greater power. His howl was sky shaking and earth shattering, I momentarily got affected because of it and the next moment his blade like claws were slightly touching my neck.
Now Qin acted arrogant releasing a proud howl but how can I let it act that way towards me?
One after another we exchanged heavy blows with each other. Our feelings were transmitted through our exchange of deadly blows.
This feeling, this was the feeling I yearned for. Unknowingly a smile formed on my face as I kept dodging, waiting for the right moment.
After quite a time passed, there were still no results to be seen. We both got serious, our blows became heavier than they ever were.
Qin naturally had more power and stamina as he was supposed to be a deadly beast that roamed in the wilderness. I was slowly being cornered,my strength was being drained like a sponge, rapidly sucking it up
Quick calculations, strategies and analyzing was what I was doing but this wolf was too smart. My breathing became hard, my heart was pounding loudly, For a moment I thought it was going to explode. If it were not for my focus polished by meditation, even standing would be hard.
I thought I would lose for sure, at the very least I can delay it and I will be doing that. Time passed and my footwork became sloppy as my breathing couldn't even be called breathing anymore.
But somehow I was saved, a celestial fairy arrived right at the decisive moment, stopping the battle.
Before this battle, the relationship between us was something unclear, we only felt a connection in between us but now we respected each other with all our heart.
Both of us were covered in light wounds when Shilfa saw this she started scolding us. The celestial fairy was more like a police officer lecturing some troublesome teenagers now.
The rest of the day was just like any other day, the next day we left our castle in a very spacious and luxurious carriage which was being led by two very strong horses, their muscles resembled the men I saw in garrison.

Even though no one came to see us off, I wasn't disheartened even a bit.
Qin and me were seated in the biggest carriage with most guards around while Shilfa and her kids were in the carriage following behind us, containing all the luggage.
The journey wasn't exciting but very tiring. We took the trade route used by merchants so there were no dangers lurking in the shadows, all that could be seen from the windows of our carriage were some merchants with their huge tummies sticking out, flattering people so they could profit, at first glance I thought they were carrying two bags, one at their back and second on their chest.
So I started meditating, even though the road was bumpy after practicing meditation for such a long time I can easily concentrate ignoring everything around me. It was now when I noticed something strange going on inside of my body.
It was as though my body was a sponge, sucking some dust from the air and fusing it with my bones and flesh. I could feel this, power was surging up in my body, as soon as I became excited I lost my focused state of mind and this stopped.
So now I am meditating without thinking of anything, ignoring everything, ignoring my own existence, I am nothing but everything.
Time flowed, I was still in a trance like state when we reached Holy acadamia. Seeing my status it was normal that we passed the guards and headed directly towards the main building where the head master resided.
It should be known that My great grandfather united this world. Some countries were conquered, some were destroyed and the rest were in an alliance with us. Now even though I say my great grandfather conquered this whole world, in reality he united it.
After my father, the second most powerful man is actually this headmaster, everyone that graduates from this academy is a peerless expert in this world. To get into Holy acadamia, you should be of royal birth, you should have unquestioned talent and off course an ability to move everyone around you.
I am going to see such a person but its not like I care, more like I can't care if I do my mental state will disappear and this pleasant feeling will disappear. It seems I am connected to the world, I can sense the world itself, its pulse throbbing in my mind, this feeling sets my very soul at peace.
This was Ki, mana, chakra or natural energy, many people call it by many different names. In this world no one is aware of it, this world which is full of muscle heads look down on meditation, to become strong one needs strength and so they practice their family's secret techniques.
Soon the carriage came to a stop. Qin forcefully woke me up, getting separated from that addicted state instantly made me grumpy. Shilfa and the others went to Tebruit castle while I was left behind here, in a spacious room alone, waiting for the headmaster to arrive.
This headmaster isn't here, I think its his way of showing authority or making me nervous. Anyways it was an opportunity to feel it again, that heart clenching sensation, I desperately wanted to return there.
And with this I quietly started meditating, even though I could still feel my body sucking this mysterious dust and transforming itself, the dust was in very low quantity here. I instantly came to a realization, perhaps it is related to nature.
I was not aware but an old man sometime ago entered the room, even though he made some noises like 'Excuse me! I am sorry for the wait, I was busy in some important affairs' I was away from this realm so I couldn't hear him.

I am not sure if he was just curious or what, he sat down next to me. He waited for me to open my eyes. I was enjoying myself without showing restraint, what I thought before was 'if that arrogant headmaster really makes his entry here, with a nudge from him I can quickly wake up'.
Like this whole night passed, this old man's eyes were shining with bright light. He couldn't figure out what I was doing but my concentration amazed him which peaked his interest in me. It was the day of the tournament so he was forced to wake me up. Sunlight passed through the windows and instantly attacked my weak eyes.
I realized that I had spent one whole night meditating, it was the maximum time I had spent doing meditating. Anyways I followed this weird old man and arrived at an arena.
Even though I didn't get an ounce of sleep last night somehow my body is bursting with energy.
People seated watching were no ordinary people, they were all representatives from their respective academies here to scout talented youths not even nobles were allowed to see this contest among youths. This tournament would end in one day, a round after round would not only test one's strength but also his determination.
When I came in with the headmaster everyone was looking at me, a hint of curiosity could be seen in their eyes while they were looking at me with awe. But it soon changed when a middle aged man announced my name 'Prince Xu,son of Hercules Xian the king of the world, has arrived'
With this everyone was staring at me again, as if I was some animal escaped from zoo. Qin was walking right behind me, I think he understood what was happening.
No one felt surprised seeing Qin, it should be known nobles have a lot of weird hobbies so having Qin is still considered normal.
I swept my gaze through all of those eyes staring at me with no shame as I said 'They look tasty, they look plenty' with this I smacked my lips and then licked them, my voice was loud enough for everyone to clearly hear me. Qin read the mood and gave his finisher the wolf's howl, his eyes were once again emanating that beastly vicious aura.
With this the originally massive crowd ran with their sandals in their hands, only one young man with blonde hair was remaining still daring to stare at me. He came closer, his age was about the same as mine. He laughed and said 'Amazing, I like you'
I replied in a cold tone 'I don't like men but maybe you can try your luck with Qin here'. The headmaster was flabbergasted, still standing besides me with his mouth wide open as he said 'He is my son'.
well what could I say? So I said nothing. Soon the tournament began. These were no single fights but battles in form of TeamA and TeamB.
Seeing my royal status despite my infamy I was granted the command of teamB. I had six people under my command, two of them were archers while the rest of them were swordsmen.
TeamA had ten members and some guy who looked like an Asian was the leader. By the way, that son of the director who inherited his weirdness was in my team.
I had no time to plan anything out, seeing we were at a disadvantage on numbers I needed a strategy but my team members thought differently.
'We can win this thing, warriors fear nothing! uooah!'
'Listen! gather around' I said in tone brimming with authority completely ignoring the previous idiotic statement of my teammate.
'You archers, quick change your robes and weapons with these swordsmen' I said as I randomly pointed at two swordsmen.
There was a resistance, it looked like a foolish thought to them. But Braids [headmaster's son] helped me by saying 'Lets do as he says'
Seeing both of us agreed how could these small fry still dare to disagree. We were forming a circle while in between our members were swapping their weapons and robes discreetly.
I quickly had my members divided in two squads containing three members each.
To win this battle, you have to get the enemy flag and the leader should be carrying it.
Archers were provided with blunt arrows, at most they would sting so they were of no use to me. I had them take swords and charge at the enemy. At the very least they can be used as a walking meat sheild.
I had one bow in my hands while I entrusted the second bow to Braids hoping he would have some special martial art from his family.
As soon as our squad1 that was consisted of two archers and one swordsman charged at the enemy, I took Braids and separated from my squad.
I already instructed my squad on what to do. They were supporting the archer squad carefully from behind while squad1 was acting as their shield.
I used them all as merry distractions as I entered into enemy lines . It was very easy to do so, some enemies spotted us but ignored us seeing the bow in our hands.
Mostly archers were not good with sword, archery was considered a long range art seeing how we entered the melee, they thought anyone could defeat us.
As soon as we got near the leader two enemies charged at us, their face was full of confidence. I stared at Braids, our eyes met and he nodded as he charged towards both of them.
I didn't even spare them a glance as I rushed towards their leader. I tried to hit him when he was not on his guard but he still coincidentally dodged.
What luck I had. In this time the enemy solders quickly realized they were fooled, seeing I had thrown my bow and had a wooden sword in my hands they were astounded.
Not thinking anything else, they rushed back towards their leader. Their backs were turned. Seeing this my squad quickly took over as they wildly started hitting them.
It would all be for nothing if I got surrounded and lost my flag, no matter how many solders you kill its the king that matters.
I rushed, I ducked and kicked his ankle and then 'bam' I hit his cheeks with my wooden sword. As he was falling down, I gracefully sidestepped and removed the flag from his shoulder.
This concluded the battle. Everyone was startled. Not because I defeated their leader but how I managed it so efficiently. The strategy I used was unheard of.
The next round had similar results, there was no need for stratagem since our enemies were already panicking. They were so freaked out they formed a cacoon shell around their leader.
In a real situation it could prove to be annoying but here, it was to our advantage. As we shot arrows to distract them we charged straight in their formation colliding with their bodies.
As soon as one of them lost his balance, the formation collapsed. The turtle was out of its shell and we happily feasted on it.
This was the last match of the tournament for me. The rest of people were fighting different battles for their fate.
In front of me was a tall bulky man, his legs were like pillars and his body gave me a feeling as though it was a moving boulder.
The match soon started. He rushed at me, I easily dodged all his incoming attacks. I think my movements are really uncommon in this world seeing everyone looks so surprised.
While stepping forward I land three consecutive strikes on this monster's head but all of them had no effect. In fact if they did anything, they pissed this monster off.
I thought it had ended and let my guard down, I was just thinking this when his sword landed on my left shoulder. The wooden sword sank in my shoulder, blood gushed out as soon as I moved.
'What inhuman strength' in the spur of the moment I complimented him. Hearing this he let out a boastful 'Humph!'
All I can do is dodge his attacks, even parrying them will send shock throughout my body.
Qin is obediently watching from the sidelines, I already told him 'No matter what, you mustn't interfere'
I was trying to figure out a way to get out of this situation when another strike landed on my ribs. My rib cage trembled, I think one of them broke from the impact.
Pain quickly surged up and I couldn't help but let out a howl.
This brute knew nothing of technique but only of raw power. But the problem is no matter how many strikes I land on this monster he doesn't budge.
'Aren't you ashamed of yourself? you are a Xian and you are running like a pussy' taunted this brute.
As he said that, I quickly devised a plan, thank you Mr. Brute now I have some hope.
'Come at me, I will let you land one strike at me, I will not dodge' as I said that I stood still with my wooden sword touching the ground forming a pillar supporting my weight.
Those representatives were watching very closely, all my fights had been very strange. Did I have some secrets hidden was what they were thinking.
'Hhaha! at least you have some spirit but you courted your own death, don't blame me' said the brute as he moved his sword above his head.
He was going to hit me executioner style, right on my head. With his strength I believe if this sword lands on my head, losing will be the least of my worries.
His sword changes into a blur as it moves towards my head.

Only Villains Do That
While waiting on an Akihabara train platform one day, ordinary high schooler Yoshi Shinonome was suddenly plucked from his normal life in Japan and whisked away by a beautiful goddess to Ephemera, a world of magic and adventure, to serve as her Hero and drive back the evil Dark Lord. This is not his story. Standing nearby at the moment Yoshi was isekai'd was a man named Seiji - a rude, cranky, misanthropic musician who was not at all pleased to find himself also snatched up and transported to Ephemera by the goddess's wicked sister, Virya. According to this self-proclaimed Goddess of Evil, the whole fantasy adventure thing was a game she and her sister played to stave off the boredom of immortality, and since the good goddess, Sanora, had picked her Hero...well, Virya needed a Dark Lord. A grown man with his own career and ambitions, Seiji has no interest in playing. Unfortunately for him, the call to adventure was not a request. Now, he must conquer Ephemera and defeat the Hero...or Virya promises to make him beg for the release of death before granting it. Playing along for his own survival, Seiji nonetheless is under no illusions who his true enemy is, and it's not the naive young would-be Hero from his own world. Placed in an impossible position, Seiji must make enough progress toward world domination to keep his sadistic patron goddess off his back, but not so much that he can't strike an accord with the forces of Good and convince the Hero Yoshi that it's the goddesses who are their mutual enemy. Forced to embrace Evil without being too evil, Seiji walks the razor's edge, building his forces and biding his time till he can get revenge on the goddesses and be free of them, his only certainty that he will not be getting out of this with his hands clean. The Summoned - Complete
In a world of magic, ruled by many warring races, the human kingdoms are being pushed to the brink of collapse. In a desperate bid to gain the strength to stand on an equal footing with the other nations, they perform a forbidden ritual to summon combat slaves from another dimension. Unluckily for them, Mors Letus, recently named by their world's God of Death, was one of them. **** Warning **** This is a re-release (The Summoned) of the first book I wrote in partnership with my brother (who later forced the story to be pulled (It was released on his account here)). I have started writing my own version of the story (BOM: The Summoned) and will continue to primarily invest in that, though, now I have permission to re-release this one, I plan finish this as I have the drafts and it was close to the end of the first book. Many characters/scenes and events match/Will match BOM: The Summoned, especially in future arc's (Past Flatner forest). If you don't like spoilers, don't want to get confused between the two stories or hate first attempts at writing (god awful grammar/sentence structure and storytelling), I would advise against reading.

The Eternal Vigil
The year is 2220, a time when governments and nation-states are slowly becoming a thing of the past. Instead, all prominent parts of human society are now organizing around the commands of three great Artificial Intelligences, owned and operated by the world's largest corporation. World peace has been achieved, and the very word 'politics' has disappeared from people's lips. Religion has largely disappeared, replaced in some parts by worshipping of the great AIs, but mostly substituted by a devotion to material goods and faith in the market. There is now a general consensus that the best form of government has been found. No, it is not democracy, nor is it autocracy or oligarchy. Instead, it is technocracy - rule by the learned, the intelligent, and the skilled. And who are more learned, intelligent, and skilled than the great AIs? Exactly, no one. The AIs will correct some market failures once in a while, but shall otherwise let the market be free. After all, the freer the market, the freer the people. Some may question how society advanced to this stage, but that is all they will do - question. Because they will not find answers, for history is no longer taught anywhere. After all, it is not a practical subject. One cannot get a decently paying job with a history degree. Society doesn't have any time for people to idly ponder about the past. No, this is a practical society of practical people: engineers, doctors, lawyers, developers, managers, bankers, soldiers, and the such. My name is Aiden Scivit and I used to be one such practical man: minding my own business, doing my job, with the faith that hard work will always be rewarded by the market...and that politics and philosophy were things thought of by idly people who leech off society. But this all changed, and here is my story, my history. Just because the stories of ages long past have been erased, does not mean that a brand new beginning cannot be created. The story is already finished but I still need to do some editing so a chapter should be released each day for a month. It is a bit political, as you can probably tell by the introduction, so there is that (it will low-key read like a philosophy dump 10% of the time, so really it's like Atlas Shrugged but liberal and worse lol). Also, I actually wrote this in grade 10 as part of my MYP Personal Project, and recently touched up on it for online publication. Finally, if you find the writing style passable and are interested in my other works, check out the one in the link below. It is a fantasy set in the Ancient Greek world, and is completed and uploaded in full: https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/35099/the-oresteia-modernized
