Hello everyone! I'm planning on continuing this in the next day or two, don't worry. I've also started a new story and these two will be updated pretty regularly. My new story is called "Cold Expanse" and is currently waiting for approval. If it gets approved while I sleep feel free to have a read and point out any suggestion for improvement early on so I can make it enjoyable and entertaining. Thanks! Love you guys!
PS. The new story is set in space, so yeah. Very different from this one, it will help me to not lose interest in the stories if I can switch between two different stories if I get tired or lack inspiration in the middle of a chapter. C:

At the same time, inside the impossibly tall walls of the divine city, a group of soldiers including a naive yet powerful girl by the name of Felicia, an exemplar soldier named Raynauld, and a scarred and aloof woman named Maria prepare to head out on a mission to deliver justice to a deserter who is reported to be in a large town far outside the lush interior of the city. However, the two groups will find that their paths will intertwine, and painful memories will push them against each other at every turn, with new monsters emerging from the shadows to pick each of them apart piece by piece. ************************** Alright, so this is the first book I've posted here, and I've been sitting on this idea for a long while. I'm open to any pieces of criticism, and I would be glad to receive tips and advice. Enjoy! Persecuted tribes fled to the refuge of its hideaway valleys. After a century and some, the land of Palmetto had evolved into a patchwork of flimsy feudalism, cult compounds, and grift economies. The merchant princes, having built some gleam of stability, reached out to the Old World's new kings for help in raising the orderly sword of bureaucracy. The event known as the Papercut Revolution closed the First Era. The new dawn rose on The Directory, who took the yoke of power into their responsible hands and began to bring forth their Good Era.
