《Prankster》Interlude: Other places

In the Gods’ Realm, a being of pure magic power materialized in the corridor and started walking to a room. When she arrived in front, she, because the form was definitely feminine, cast a few spells to check for traps and when there was no reaction, opened the door. And then she waited around ten seconds to make sure there was no prankster magic at play here, before Magicnia entered her magic study room. She let her magic power, a part of herself cover the entire room and felt something that didn’t belong, not just in this room, but the entire realm. When she looked a little closer, she found a sheet of paper under her desk and cautiously picked it up, to examine it more closely. It was one of her magic diagram, but different, more refined and controlled, as opposite to the one it was based on, which relied on raw power with little controls involved. It looked like something made for a species with magic power magnitudes lower than that of gods. And she knew only one god who would do something like godly magic to other species for fun, Prankstein. She quickly discarded the reason she was here and cast a wide net of location spells in an attempt to locate the prankster god and to her big surprise she managed to locate him in the corner of a small room, not even slightly cloaked in magic. She immediately went to him, planning to ask a whole lot of questions and laying a beating if she didn’t like the answers.
-Did you enter my room, Prankstein?-Asked Magicnia as soon as she entered the room and made sure the prankster god was there. He looked away from a mirror in his hands and turned towards her, then without any change to his expression answered her.

-Yes, yes I did.-The goddess was a little surprised at the honest and immediate answer, but continued to ask her questions anyway.
-When did you enter my room?-
-Hmm, 53 years, 8 months, 2 days and 15 minutes ago.-
That answer perplexed her a little. Wasn’t that when some of her spells went missing and when she investigated, she found them in the room of Knowledgeinia? Then it wasn’t her who borrowed them? And what about the sheet of paper she had in her possession?
-Then, what is this I am holding?-She showed him the magic diagram she found in her room and suspected was his.
-That looks like a fire spell with variable magic power control that can upgrade or downgrade the effects of the spell. You could probably increase the magic power efficiency if you remove one or two control elements, or it could blow up in your face.-
-That is not what I was asking, though you are right it would blow up. This spell was precisely calculated to be on the edge of efficiency. What I was asking was, if you haven’t entered my room in 53 years, how did this sheet of paper, from outside our realm, made its way in my study room?-
-Oh, that. It was probably the work of my champion. I gave her transportation magic when I summoned her, so she knows how our summoning room looks. From there, with prankster magic, she could have easily made her way to your room and copied few spells.-
-You summoned a champion? Why would you do that? And if she was here, you didn’t just copy a soul. What is your goal?-
-I asked Miasmar and Lightner if I could play with them, but they are so busy with their pointless war between Hero and Demon Lord, I decided to mess with them. She also pulls some interesting pranks, which I quite enjoy watching.-

-Are you watching her now?
-Yes. She is in the process of conquering her first planet and almost without using magic. She is only using what she found or stole from around her. I am so proud of her, barely a year after summoning her and she is already conquering planets. You know, she probably learned the God’s language when she was here, which means she would soon travel to other realms, maybe conquering some planets there. I sure made a wise decision when I gave her traveling magic.-
-Scoot over, I want to watch.-
The gods of magic and pranks sat there, watching through the magic mirror how Penny was conquering Earth. The two stopped from time to time, to go get snacks and beverages, then continued observing the process that took around a week to complete.

The Exiled Villainess Returns
(Please heed the warnings above before reading) Reborn into the beautiful but deadly world of Ethetia, she comes to a sudden awareness that she is now Livia Katrina Valentine, a character of a game of a reverse harem she once played on Earth called Aster Academy: The Feuding Houses. But this revelation comes a bit too late. You see, Livia wasn't just anyone. She was not given the anonymity of being a background character, or even the blessing of being the heroine. Instead, she has bestowed the role of being the atrocious villainess. And that is exactly what she had been. As a result, Livia triggers her own death flag event at her debutante. Her memories of her past life have the grace to come only minutes before she is accused of poisoning the heroine, Amelia. But all is not helpless. Via last-minute intervention, Livia successfully manages to avoid having her head decapitated. Being exiled was a small price to pay for retaining a pulse. Plus, at least this way, Livia can finally start to live her life, to become more than just a cruel folly. Her exile should have been a new but unusual beginning to her story. But pitiless reality comes knocking. Ethetia had once only been a background setting in a game. A pretty and still picture that mostly went disregarded as the even prettier characters on the screen unloaded their dialogue, but now, it was Livia's world. As real and wonderous as planet Earth once had been, filled with small creatures with their own wills, ambitions, and needs. Such one creature decides that exile was not enough of a penalty. That Livia, the bullish and jealous tormentor of the heroine, deserves a fate more befitting of her past deeds. One worst than death. Livia's fate is ripped out of her hands. She is forced into a collar, sold to an empire rotten with greed, and placed inside a harem where she is expected to wither and die from the inside out. But Livia refuses to be forgotten. Burning with a deep rage against those who only wish to see her fall into her own grave, Livia makes a twisted promise to herself. A promise that pushes her through the darkest moments of her life and brings to light a newfound power rooted deep inside her. So keen to discard her as the villain she has once been, the little creatures in their own ignorance brought forth something they could never dream to fathom. A beacon of darkness.
