Within a few hours, Sam flew over the forest on the border between countries. The pilot gave a signal and Sam jumped closer to Country X. This time he managed to keep the parachute intact, folded it and hid it, went to the mansion.

The cat was shocked and confused by all the turns, and growled plaintively. But after landing, he began to explore his new habitat with interest.

Sam was a little nervous, it took a long time, anything could happen. It was already evening when Sam got to the mansion. The mansion remained intact; moreover, the fences were not weakly reinforced.

Sam went to the sentry and asked if Ashley was okay and where she was. Having received the desired answer, he went inside.

Ashley was in the yard and sparred with Jane, Sam watched them with a smile, it seemed that nothing had changed.

Seeing Sam, Ashley swooped down and hugged him, the cat dubiously regarded the other creature on his tree.

They kissed and looked at each other's faces. Sam undressed without thinking twice and stripped Ashley, Jane and the rest of the witnesses tactfully left. Sam threw Ashley over his shoulder and jumped into the pool.

Ashley told a little about what happened in the mansion, named five names of the dead women. Sam was rarely interested in anyone, so he didn't even try to memorize the names of people not interesting to him.

Sam, in turn, spoke a little about his adventures. He brought quite a few gifts for Ashley and began to talk about them and their effects.

Of course, these gifts are not flowers and chocolate. But in fact, clothes and fruits ... in general, quite close, quite a good gift for your woman in Sam's opinion.

Soon they fell asleep in each other's arms.

In the middle of the night, Ashley stabbed him in the heart with some kind of enchanted dagger. Sam opened his eyes and calmly looked at her, she was in tears but acted decisively.

During his time in the Amazon, Sam could not count how many times he was attacked in a dream by various animals, beetles and everything. Having entered the water, even if a small parasite tried to attack him, his armor was activated reflexively.

Ashley did not break Sam's heart, he loved once and remembered this feeling, and he knew that he does not love Ashley with that very love. He never even told her details about himself and his skills.

This was one of the reasons why he liked her and he was not afraid of her, he knew that until it was not love involved, his paranoia would always come first. He still ate and drank only what he prepared himself.

Ashley only burst into tears over her failure.

Ashley was already talking angrily, as if trying to persuade Sam to give up his life for her children. Obviously, it was he who was to blame for the fact that her children were taken.

But he still did not wanted to kill her. He already knew her well enough and long enough. She was pretty simple straightforward woman. He knew perfectly her way of thinking. And what Sam hated about other people is that you never know what is going on in their minds. They can smile at you and then stab you in the back. It may look like Ashley did the same. But no matter how hard she tried to stay calm and do not show any signs, she just could not. Sam realized pretty soon that something was off. Ashley was just too simple and open book, and that was something he really liked about her. He simply never was a sleeping and wanted to see what is gonna happen.

Even if he is gonna kill her, what then? Of course he could find some other woman, it would not be that easy because of his appearance maybe, but nowadays power is what really matters. But he had doubts that he will be able to find someone to be such an open book as Ashley. He simply could not find a reason to bother with that. Ashley was exactly his type in all senses. And she would not be able to hurt him in any way. He will let it go for now.

Sam continued to calmly look into her beautiful eyes.
