《Those Zombies Again》Chapter 8

The next day, Sam waited for the guy from the next house to start luring the zombies to his door at the entrance. Then he went out supposedly on his usual patrol. As expected, a neighbor noticed him and shouted:
- Sam!
Sam turned to him.
- Sam brother help me, there is almost no food, the neighbors' doors are closed, there is nothing to break open, maybe your sword will work out?
Sam pretended to think, then said - Okay, no problem mate - and went to the entrance.
To begin with, he removed the corpses from the door, while Russell opened the doors. Sam slowly approached and went inside, carefully looking around, closing the door behind him, he followed Russell, who also turned and began to lead him forward, saying:
- Brother, you are really strong, what ur ...
Russell did not have time to finish, as soon as Russell turned away, Sam made a dash forward with all his might and in two steps reached Russell, having blown his head clean. The head flew off, blood gushed, and Russell's corpse fell onto the stairs.
Sam looked carefully around and up, but he didn't notice anyone else, he had no idea if Russell was really asking for help or was planning something, and honestly Sam didn't care, Russell was the perfect target and killed a lot of zombies over the last week.
As expected Sam, after the murder he received particles, and somewhere 230 soul particles. After estimating, he realized that it was most likely half of the soul particles earned by Russell and he was level 3.
Before the advent of the zombie, Sam was a law-abiding citizen, no matter how antisocial he was, he certainly behaved adequately. However, the only thing that always stopped him was fear and the law. Thanks to the fact that he became stronger, he managed to overcome fear. Well, now it doesn't smell like law. Sam's heartbeat quickened, he was excited, but that was all, he had been preparing for this moment for a long time.

Sam did not stay, dragging the corpse away so that he would not be conspicuous, he opened the entrance door and put a stone so that it remained open, at the same time making a good noise, lured the zombie and then ran away.
Sam hadn't really hoped for other people before, but after his check, he realized that a disaster was coming. The few people who can survive will sooner or later learn that it is much easier to kill other people for the sake of particles.
For example, you can get people to hunt and, when they pick up relatively many particles, kill them and rip the cream off. Perhaps there are other options, one thing is certain, even without this fact people would kill each other, but with this information real chaos will begin.
A particularly funny moment is that it doesn't make much sense for a high-level person to kill the weak, although it still depends on the number of these weaklings, it is much easier for him to kill zombies.
But the same cannot be said about the rest, any person who sees someone strong enough will feel temptation, especially since you can, for example, shoot him in the legs, then come up and finish off, and his high parameters will not help him.
In general, sooner or later, riots will begin on pirate ships, so being a "Boss" or "Hero" is more expensive for yourself.
Also, Sam should be wary of firearms, in this poor homeless city only a few will probably find weapons, and the city police station is quite far away. While there was the Internet, Sam did not forget to look at the map of the city and the surrounding area and mark the places of interest to him, all the same, before he was not interested in this city at all.

In general, in theory, Sam will not meet people with firearms, unless he is very unlucky, but it's worth preparing for this.
From now on, he decided to invest all the points of characteristics in agility, his skill can help him feel the fact that someone is aiming at him, but he still needs to react in time and leave the line of fire.
Sam noticed that some of the people he met became afraid to look him in the eye. Most likely they have nothing else to do, so they mostly look out the windows, and may have guessed about Russell's fate.
Sam continued to clean up the neighborhood, also checked absolutely all the apartments in his entrance and went to other zombies.
One day he saw a child who ran out of the entrance and screamed in search of his father, this child was like 5 years old. Sam chuckled. The boy attracted zombies with his screams, when he saw a zombie, he got scared and fell in tears and horror. Soon zombie got to the small kid and began to devour him alive.
Perhaps Sam could have helped the boy if he had rushed to him almost immediately, but he was not going to do such nonsense. This is not the first time he has seen something like this, and it will not be the last. If he helped everyone who needed it, he would already have a small camp of debtors, but what's the point of them?

The Summoned - Complete
In a world of magic, ruled by many warring races, the human kingdoms are being pushed to the brink of collapse. In a desperate bid to gain the strength to stand on an equal footing with the other nations, they perform a forbidden ritual to summon combat slaves from another dimension. Unluckily for them, Mors Letus, recently named by their world's God of Death, was one of them. **** Warning **** This is a re-release (The Summoned) of the first book I wrote in partnership with my brother (who later forced the story to be pulled (It was released on his account here)). I have started writing my own version of the story (BOM: The Summoned) and will continue to primarily invest in that, though, now I have permission to re-release this one, I plan finish this as I have the drafts and it was close to the end of the first book. Many characters/scenes and events match/Will match BOM: The Summoned, especially in future arc's (Past Flatner forest). If you don't like spoilers, don't want to get confused between the two stories or hate first attempts at writing (god awful grammar/sentence structure and storytelling), I would advise against reading.
