《Those Zombies Again》Chapter 7

On the way home he met Donna, she said that she had little food left and asked if he had some. Sam decided to help, since his house would have had enough food for at least a month, and he didn't bring that much from other apartments.
Sam also met a couple of power zombies that day, which he read about on the Internet before he disappeared. The zombies looked more impressive than usual, moreover, they turned out to be quite durable, but they did not differ in speed, so there were still no big problems with them.
For each he received 50 particles, the same ghouls are much more dangerous if they meet more than one.
As it turned out, the skeleton was something special, given his makings of intelligence and the way he felt Sam through the doors, even without a sound. Even as now, these skeletons are very strong, and if they become smarter over time, they will be much more dangerous.
By the end of the second week of the disaster, Sam met several more varieties of zombies, firstly, many simple zombies became a little faster and stronger, and accordingly gave 10 particles, also among the power ones there were those that gave 100 particles, they were accordingly even stronger, but the sword was still doing fine, for the time being he was dealing with them too
Increasingly, there were cases when other people tried to interact with him in one way or another, mostly asked for help with food, Sam readily refused everyone, although over time they themselves dared to go out in search of food in other apartments that Sam was breaking into.
Also, one man in the next doorway acted like Sam at first, killing zombies through the entrance, he even asked Sam to lend him a sword for a while ...

Sam has long wanted to choose someone for his experiment on killing a person, but he still decided to wait for the 5th level first in order to feel more confident.
A few days later, having defeated another power zombie, he gained his long-awaited level. This time he felt something new, with the increase in the level he had the opportunity to choose one ability.
Moreover, there were many very different abilities, such as improved vision, fireball, an increase in strength, dexterity, weapon skill, and so on, in general there was enough variety.
Back home, Sam began to consider his options. The Internet did not appear, other people did not have it either, there was no point in counting on particularly useful information on TV.
Thinking over his options, Sam thought first of all about survival, he needed a choice that would help to survive not only in the fight against monsters, but also with people, it seemed any ability would do as long as it makes you stronger.
But still Sam singled out, in his opinion, the most suitable "Presentiment of danger", this ability will not make him stronger, but will help him survive for sure. After distributing the stat points, he felt his status.
Sam level 5
Strength 15 (10 is the average of a typical healthy adult)
Agility 10 (10 the average of a typical healthy adult)
Stamina 12 (10 the average of a typical healthy adult)
Toughness 10 (10 the average of a typical healthy adult)
Spirit 5 (0 is the average of a typical healthy adult)
Unallocated stat points 0
Abilities - Premonition of Danger
During all this time, Sam was never able to increase any characteristic by training, so he decided that it was useless time waste. Recently, he has gradually begun to increase the radius of his patrols, so that stamina will not be unnecessary.

Now is the time to move on to the next goal.
-----
Russell was 29 years old and lived in town X. He had a five-year-old son.
When it all started, only him and his son were at home. His wife went to visit her parents. But he never got through to her.
Although he was worried, he could not afford to do stupid things. Outside, the hell was going on that no matter how much he wanted to go to his wife, he could not risk his son. He must protect him at all costs.
At first, himself and his son did not leave the house. Unfortunately, Russell did not have the habit of keeping a lot of food at home, he was intending to go for groceries before, but after what happened, it became clear that now he could no longer go anywhere.
Most of the time he was watching from the windows what was happening outside, but soon he would have to go out and find food anyway.
At times Russell saw someone from the house across the street killing zombies through the front door. He himself thought about this, but there was no specific information about what was happening outside, so Russell pulled to the last, staying close to his son. But now is the time to do something.
Russell began to gradually clear the porch, he even tried to find helpers, knocked on different doors and looked for survivors. But many apartments were simply empty, and most of the others were only zombies.
In those few apartments that were reached, only the elderly or women and children remained. There were a couple of other guys, but it is obvious that they did not have such problems with food, they were not going to risk their lives in vain.
Russell hoped that people would be able to unite, after all, in these difficult times, people should ally and help each other for the sake of survival. He did not give up, even if now no one wanted to leave the security of their apartments, sooner or later they will have to leave, and they can get out of this hell together.
Opening an apartment without the proper tools is almost impossible, and unfortunately Russell did not have any suitable tools. He managed to break into one of the apartments, but it was clearly abandoned long ago, and he did not find food there.
From time to time he watched as a man from the house across the street went hunting, he tried to interact with him as best he could. This guy's name was Sam, and he clearly knew what he was doing, if Russell could befriend him, things could have become much easier. Of course, considering his experience of communicating with the people of his entrance, he understood that now everyone was nervous and scared, and not many would go for normal contact.
But Russell had little choice, food was running out, it couldn't go on.
One day Russell saw Sam again, he again decided to ask for help, now was not the time to think about pride. It was more important to think about what he would feed his son in the near future.

So, don't go tattle on me. Notice: I made that cover. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=Other tag: Romance. Drama

The Chronicles of The Green wizard
Garion Greensleeves always was an oddity. The first son of High-Wizard Garius Greensleeves and Adricor, a Noble woman of well renown, he would of stood to inherit much. However, on the night of his first full moon, as a baby he disappeared from his cot. His parents, after much frantic searching, found the babe crying in a small clearing of trees, a large feline creature pacing defensively around him, the bloodied corpse of a fox resting at its feet. As the parents approached, the beast transformed into a small owl and flew around the clearing before perching on a low branch of a tree nearby. From this moment on Garion's fate had been decided. Only those with magical blood could be capable of calling out to such a being as this. As Garion grew older, the transforming creature remained by his side. Wizards from all the continents visited the glade to see the child who had bound a familiar to his will as a babe. At age seven, Garion left his home glade and travelled the world studying to become a recognised guilded wizard. After many years he was granted the title of Wizard and was sent forth to advise, learn and ponder on behalf of the guild.
