I wake up with Akuna and Mirikin next to me. I use mana sense again and the egg is still there... Still emitting it's mana... I can only see the mana it is emitting and not it's real mana capacity... I dont know how powerful this creature might be... But I want to get stronger don't I? The stronger you are, the more chance of survival. I get up without waking the two girls and dress up. I didn't put on the clothes that I wore yesterday. I put on a plain white shirt and some black trousers. I also put on some armor aka just some guards and a chestpiece. I also take my black sword with me. I never know what I will find down there if I do find the passage. All of this is a mystery to me... I exit the room to find one of the maids here. It is the cat eared one again. I know that there are only a few beast race maids here. And this one is the only one with cat ears.

Quinn: "Hello. Please speak quietly, Mirikin and Akuna are sleeping..."

Maid: "I will Quinn... But where are you heading off to already? The sun hasn't properly come up yet..."

Quinn: "Underneath the castle. Do not mention this to anybody else ok? I will return soon probably. What is your name anyways... None of the maids give me their names."

Maid: "My name is Suzu. But there is nothing underneath the castle..."

Quinn: "Thank you Suzu. I will remember your name."

Suzu: "Quinn... Do you have a family name? I've never heard you use one.."

Quinn: "No, I do not. I didn't need one. I need to wait for the King to give me one right?"

Suzu: "Indeed... I will now return to my duties. I was waiting for Mirikin to wake up... I have... Something to ask her..."

I leave and knock on the walls to find a passage way down. The castle shouldn't have a cellar Suzu told me... Well there always are secret passage ways. I keep knocking on the walls for a while until I hit in a brick. A door then starts opening with magic. My mana sense told me that. I go down and the door shuts. Torches are being lit up and a stairway is going down. I walk down for a while and reach a huge room what is lit up by an light emerald-like color. The origin of that light? The egg. The egg is emitting that light together with the mana. Well to be precise... The mana is the light. I approach the egg...

Innver: "Step back! I feel something trying to invade your mind Quinn! Step back!"

Mayu: "Quinn! Do as Innver says!"

I keep walking forward. I know what they said. But if it wants to invade my mind... I will destroy it completely if it tries to take it over.

?: "You... What are you... You are a mix of many things... A demon... A human soul... A dungeon? Interesting... Very interesting..."

Quinn: "Wha... Who are you?"

?: "Me... You shall find out about me later, abomination... Name yourself first."

Quinn: "My name is Quinn. Yours?"

?: "The master of me can give me a name... But I have no master... Hence I have no name... Shall you become my master, Quinn the Abomination?"

Quinn: "I will. Your mana is powerful... It shall help me with my quest..."

?: "Amusing... Infuse your mana with mine... It will take me three days to start hatching though..."

I walk up to the egg and infuse some of my mana into it. I feel the egg starting to change.

?: "Return to me in three days. I shall hatch then."

I nod and leave the room... That egg... It could take before hatching... And I became the master of a stronger being? I am excited to find out what its real body is... I go back to my bedroom just to find Mirikin and Akuna still sleeping and Suzu fell asleep too waiting for Mirikin. I pick Suzu up from the floor and put her on my bed. I then sit on a chair and look at the girls sleeping. I do that for two hours waiting for them... Akuna was the first to wake up. When she got up and looked at me she blushed a little... She actually blushed once. Well she got dressed up and then Mirikin woke up at the same time as Suzu. Suzu notices she is on my bed and freaks out. She gets up and apologizes many times but I just laugh it off. Mirikin gets up and notices me. She blushes a lot and then dresses up while blushing... Was it that weird for me to just watch them sleep? I had nothing better to do. I then get up and head towards the throne room. The messenger to the king left yesterday... I heard that it takes 4 days by horse to get there and back. That means I have enough time for the egg. I sit on my throne and fall into a deep thought. Before I fall into a deep thought I notice that there are two smaller throne-like chairs on my sides. Mirikin and Akuna sit in them. Well I guess you could call them princesses... Or queens? Well no matter... I wonder what that egg is... I need to wait for the king to send the message.

I wait and wait for three days... I couldn't sleep at all during the three days so Akuna and Mirikin got worried for me and asked me if something is wrong. I just told them it is nothing. I go down to the hidden chamber. The egg has a couple cracks in it.

?: "Hoh... Perfect timing. I am about to hatch, master."

The egg shines brightly and an Luna Moth appears from it... Based on my knowledge of that moth it should be a female...

The moth approaches me. The moth is big compared to regular ones. But it isn't a giant one like in fairy tales. This is a regular-looking one.. It flies onto my shoulder.

?: "Master, this is my real body. I can also change into a human form. I am a female just so you know. What shall be my name, Master?"

Quinn: "Your name... Acila... Yes. Acila."

Acila: "I will take that name. What does it mean?"

Quinn: "It comes from my past world. I learned some Latin and I learned the Latin form of your... Race. The Actias Luna. Hence Acila."

Acila: "Latin...? No matter. I know you are from another world now."

Quinn: "Can you also not call me... Master... It doesn't feel right."

Acila: "Then how about father? You did give me enough mana to hatch and a name. I couldn't hatch with only my mana alone. I needed some from the outside world."

Quinn: "Father...? Well I guess it is fine for now... It's better than master in my mind..."

Then I feel a sting on my shoulder and I notice Acila is gone but a weird tatoo of a Luna Moth appears on the back of my right arm. I also feel a lot stronger.

Acila: "I fused my body with yours. We are now one. I can come out of your body and go in at will. Our mana pools are fused together too."

Quinn: "Mayu... Innver... Are you fine with it?"

Mayu: "Yes. It feels like I am the mother of Acila for some reason..."

Innver: "It is quite fine with me. It gives us strength and ontop of that I feel like... Something humans call an Uncle?"

Quinn: "Good. Acila. I want to introduce you to Mayus sister, Mirikin and Akuna. I guess you could say they are your big sisters or mothers...? Even though we are not blood related at all... Well no matter. I just want to introduce you."

I head upstairs and Acila turns to her human form. It is a small human with wings like a fairy. She looks really cute and looks like an eight year old. She hovers around me as I enter the bedroom and Mirikin jumps in shock as she sees Acila hover around. Akuna jumps in shock too.

Quinn: "Calm down you both. This is Acila. She hatched from an egg I found in a secret chamber. She calls me her father because I gave her a name and helped her hatch."

Akuna calms down but Mirikin is still shocked a little.

Akuna: "Aww.... She is so cute... What kind of race is she...?"

Acila turns to her Luna moth form. Akuna looks at it.

Mirikin: "A Luna Moth... These moths are supposed to be extinct... They carried a lot of mana with them and were good prey for humans in the early stages..."

I explain the situation to them and then notice... The letter form the king. It came back faster than I thought.

Quinn: "Hmm... It is here already? I expected a few more hours of waiting. Well no matter."

I open the letter.

To count Quinn.

I shall fund you with regular sums of ten gold coins a month. That should be enough for now. And about the academy... I already prepeared everything for your arrival. I also prepeared room for Akuna and Mirikin because I know they are going to come with you. A person is coming to look over your county while you are gone. And as for the magical tomes... The academy has them. Grimoires we don't have.

Hmm. Good to know. I luckily can read but I can't write. I tell Mirikin and Akuna to prepeare things and the head maid prepeares a carriage for us.

We head off towards the academy. We looked the location of the academy up on a map of our kingdom. It is only three days of riding a carriage away. Closer than the capital.

This will be an interesting location I am going to. Magical tomes too. Good... Everything is proceeding as planned.
