The Last Son of the Dragon

Once magic ran rampant through the world, unchecked and barely challenged by any but those born from it. That changed when humanity began to spread and war with the supernatural and those who stood with them. Humanity was not the only threat to the supernatural which led to the First Shadow War. Following that war, slowly but surely magic began to die, from the Fall of the Roman Empire onwards.

It was not until the death of the being known as Vlad Tepes Dracula that it seemingly disappeared entirely. The Son of the Dragon was quite an intriguing being, being so much more than just one of the most powerful Vampires to ever exist. Within him much power rested, the Power of the First Prime, one of the most powerful mystical beings created. The bloodline of a Dragon rested within his blood as well, but that was not all which rested within him.

Some have inherited his blood, being descendants of him through his wife and others. Some of them have inherited his vampiric power, others still inherited the power of the First Prime or Dracula's unique magic. However very few have inherited the power of his own father, the Last Dragon King, whom fell during one of many conflicts after the Shadow War. Dragons are powerful beings to begin with, but due to their inherent nature many hunted them despite the risk.

Those who inherit Dracula's blood and perhaps even his power are all called as he was titles, the Son of the Dragon. Once there was a group, the Sons of the Dragon, all formed of Dracula's descendants who search for and enlisted those they found. The Sons all died during the Great War, World War one, or were thought to have been killed. They were hunted down one by one during the chaos that swept the world during WW 1, by those who feared the power they might possess.

There is one a human whom inherited of all things, Dracula's humanity, you could say, despite being human he still holds great power. Once he was a normal human, but a certain incident years ago changed things. It was his Awakening as a mage which caused some things to change concerning magic. He faked his death and has been hiding in L.A., the few that do know of him just think of him as a reclusive Chaos Mage. Things will soon change however as powerful people have a way of running into trouble.
