The eight Sub Princess of Hell.

(1) Astaroth (Ashtaroth or Astarot)

The 1rst of the sub princes of Hell is Astaroth, a male Demon who evolved from the Ancient Phoenician mother Goddess of Fertility, Astatre or Ashtaroth. Astaroth is also a fallen Angel and the 29th of the 72 Goetia Demons of Solomon. According to Judiac Moore he is a high-ranking angel either one of the seraphim or a prince of Thrones prior to his fall.

In the Grimoire Verum and Grand Grimiore he appears as the Grand Duke and Treasurer of Hell commanding 40 Legions of Demons, and is equated as one of the three Supreme evil demons with Beelzebub and Lucifer.in the Lemegeton he appears as either a beautiful or an ugly Angel riding a dragon and holding a Viper. it is said that he possesses a powerful stench and stinking breath. magicians who desire to conjure him must hold a magical ring in front of their faces to protect themselves against his smell. Astaroth teaches all the sciences and is Keeper of the secrets of the past present and future. He is invoked in Necromantic rituals of Divination. This diamond is said to instigate causes of demonic possession most notably that of the London nuns and France in the 16th century where the nuns accused a priest father Urbian Grandier of causing their possession.

(2) Magot (Magot)

The 2nd of the Sub-Princes is Magoth. Within the Sacred Magic of Abramelin the Mage Magot is one of the 8 Sub-Princes ruling beneath four Principle Spirits Lucifer, Leviathan, Satan & Belial. Occultist S. L. MacGregor Mathers related his name within the French language as Magot often used in Fairy Tails to belittle a dwarf and or Elf. Mathers also equated the Magot to be the name of a Magus, Wizard and or Magician. However, according to Abramelin the Mage Magoth has the power to hinder operations Magic and Necromancy. He can bring Books and Banquets of food to the summoner.. through his power of illusions Magot can transform anyones appearance. He watches over a vast number of spirits and each can perform acts of simular magic which is discribed within this Demons sphere.

(3) Asmodeus (Asmodee or Asmoday)

The 3rd Sub-Prince of Hell is Asmodeus who is also discribed as chief of intercourse aka the demon of Desire and Lust. It is written he is the cause of broken Marrages and Relationships. He is one of the Chief Demons involved in cases of Possession.throughout Historical, Mythological and Biblical accounts Asmodeus is referred to as one of Satan's most Evil infernal Demons. He is portrayed as having three heads, (1) Ram (2) Bull (3) Ogre which are Sexually licentious creatures. He hold roots within Persian Mythology where his name derrives from Aeshma, one of the 7 Arch-Angels or Arahspands. The Hebrews absorbed him into their Mythogy where he held the highest status and most powerful of all his Legends. According to the Hebrews he is the son of Naamah & Shamdon. Prior to his fall he was apart of the Saraphim. The Book of Tobit Asmodeus lusted after a Human women named Sarah, Murdering each of the 7 Husbands b4 marraige. He also appears in the Pseudepigraphal of Solomon and the Lemegeton as well.

(4) Beelzebub (Beelsebub, Baalsebub, Beelzeboul & Belzebub)

The 4rth Sub-Prince of Hell is Beelzebub known as Lord of the Flies and or Prince of Demons within his Canaanite roots. The Name is a Distortion of Baal-Zebul the chief Canaanite or Phoenician God, meaning lord of the Devine Abode or Lord of the Heavens. He appears within the Pseudepigraphal text of Solomon as well as the Jewish and Hebriatic Aramaic Lores of the Bible. In Medieval times Beelzebub was reguarded as the Demon of Great Power, and was said to rule the Witches sabbat.

(5) Oriens (Orias, & Orinel)

The 5th Sub-Prince is Oriens is considered the 59th Goetia Demon and a great Maquis who lead 30 Legions of Spirits. He appears as a lion with a serpents tail while riding a Horse and holds two hissing snakes. He teaches the virtues of the planets and stars. In the Sacred magic of Abramelin the Mage Oriens is a servant of Astaroth and Asmodeus. In mathers translation oriens name means Ornament or tree of god which suggests his past being of Angelic stature.

(6) Paimon

The 6th Sub-Prince is Paimon who is believed to be a Demon/Angel of the Order of Dominions as well as one of the four Demons of the Cardinal directions proirto his fall. He was conceited with his own knowlege of and fall with Lucifer. In Hell he rules as a King over 200 legions of Demonic spirits. In the Pseudomonarchia Daemonum he is considered one of the lesser infernal kings and avails himself with two lesser spirits called Beball & Abalam. In the Goetia they are called Labal & Abali. In the Sacred Magic of Abramelin the Mage he is seen as one of the 8 Sub-Princes who oversee all the spirits who can be summoned. He is 1 of the demons who on the third day can be seen as overseere of the guardian angel operation, and he is attributed with the power to cause visions, raise the Dead, give Familiars and summon diverse spirits of all kinds. According to both Mather & Agrippa Paimon is equated with the fallen Angel Azazel in rabbinical lore.

(7) Ariton (Egin or Egyn)

The 7th Sub-Prince is Ariton whose name likely derrives from the Greek word Archreton, which Mathers defines as meaning Secret or Mysterious. In the Sacred Magic of Abramelin the Mage Ariton is listed as one of the Eight Sub-Princes in an expended demonic hierarchy that includes Beelzebub Asmodeus & Astaroth. He is also named as one of the four demons who preside over the cardinal directions.n Jewish lore Ariton is equated with Azazel. In abramelin, Ariton is attributed with the power to discover hidden treasure.

(8) Amaimon

In the Sacred Magic of Abramelin the Mage Amaimon is said to know the past, present, & future. He can cause visions qnd enable people to fly. He further provides familiar spirits and can cause other spirits to appear and assume diverse forms. He is identified as one of the four infernal rulers of the cardinal directions. His domain is in the south and also in this text he is one of the eight sub Prince's summoned to serve the magician as part of the Holy guardian angel rite. Mather relate his name being from the Greek root meaning Terrible violance and Vehemence. According yo both Mather and Agrippa, Amaimon is equivalent in Jewish lore as the demon Mahazael. In scots Discoverie of Witchcraft mentions that Amaimon is known for his Dangerious putrid breath and discribes a technique of protection where conjurers wear a magic ring held against their faces for protection. Mathers also notes that his reputation for fiery or poisonous breath. In Wierus' s PseudomonarchiaDaemonum he is found with the name Amaymonis.
